I used guthans and then ranged...so I don't really know if you're good for the ranging the whole way bit because that's not what I did. You look pretty well prepared though. You might want one more sara brew. And if you have barrows gloves I'd say wear those instead of the vambraces.
I haven't really minded any of the updates...sure revenants are a pain and the trade limit is too, but people find ways around it. I think the graphics update was in the works long before the other updates that people seem to hate oh so very much. I don't think it was to "appease players" just to make the game better, as most if not all updates aim to do.
Zanaris is the best place for black dragons...ever. Also, you can kill baby black dragons, which are located on the level under the big ones also in the Zanaris dungeon, just bring some rope and go on down.
You mean as a signature? Click on my signature banner. The ones you get from there are dynamic. Meaning you don't have to update them, they update themselves when you gain a level.
There are, however, familiars whose attack and/or scroll train range and/or mage. So either fight the monster face to face, periodically get attacked by it, or just don't range and let your familiar train it for you.
I'm greatly amused by examining chinchompas: "Cute! Must be deadly" I also love the message you get when using a raw herring on a tree: "This is not the mightiest tree in the forest." I have yet to find said mightiest tree, but Monty Python owns.
The same kind of thing happened to me. If your account is in the green zone, you can't appeal the mute, which I think is absolutely ridiculous. When this type of thing happened to me, it was my first "offense" in 4 years and the mute didn't last the whole 24 hours.
Well I have 96 wc...I don't notice a difference on yews with a beaver *at all*. I imagine it's the same way on mages since those are higher level trees.
If it's the eastern island, you have to go through the cave that's in the ogre lands, not the ones on the outside of the city. If you run south of castlewars around to the ogre lands, there'll be a cave north of where you enter the wilds of ogre country. That cave takes you to the island.
Getting def with range is a slow process. Range pures tend to range in PC and use points for def. If you're not a range pure, I'd recommend mele over range for defence training any day. If you are though, that would work.
If you aren't paying to play...the ads are necessary. Through displaying ads, Jagex makes money, thus if you aren't giving them money to play, they have to get it somehow. Running such a large website with such high graphics is not cheap.
I agree 95%. I personally hate the trade limit...but I can live with it. People act like PC and PKing were/are the entire game. People need to realize that the game is so much more. PC was never meant to replace normal training, the wild was the source of many a scam/lure and RS is better off without it (though I do hate revenants with a passion). The whiners need to wake up and see the good things in RS, not just the "bad". Runescape is far from ruined.
There was a lending system glitch when it first came out that let people take hilts from godswords, that has since been fixed. Other than rock lobsters, waterfiends are also good for crimson charms. Dusties aren't so great for them anymore...If you do rock lobs I have no idea how much you'll be spending on runes. I generally just recommend training slayer for getting charms, as most slayer task monsters drop charms regularly.
