Hmm, it looks like Jagex are actually sticking to their word for once. This wasn't very unexpected of course, with the new Facebook group, their new blog crap thing, and more JMod interaction.

Just thought I'd write a new guide using Pixlr.com (an online image editing app) to do transparency. 1. Go to Pixlr.com and click "Jump in!" 2. Open your image (via uploading it or using the URL if you have already opened it). 3. Using the Wand tool , click on the white space behind your character. It should look like this: 4. Now we need to Invert Selection, do this by going to Edit --> Invert Selection 5. Your image should now look like this: 6. The rest is now quite simple, copy your image (Edit --> Copy) 7. This part is quite important, go to File --> New (make sure you have copied the image selection). Tick the boxes in the popup to look like this: If the popup does not look like this, you have not copied the image selection (Should look like Step 5). 8. You should have your character cropped exactly, and with a transparent background: 9. Save your image (File --> Save) as a .PNG I know that it is not the best method, there are still some white spaces between the arms and so on (but that is quite self-explanatory to get rid of (Wand tool --> Delete)), but at least you do not need to download any complicated software :)

Could you post a screenshot? It might give some more clues to the problem you're having.

I have been on the quest of 99 Magic for so many years. Each year, I have got bit closer, but I have stopped my membership due to exams and so on, and then restarting my membership for the few months of holidays. :roll: I've been training at the Mage Training Arena, using Level 6 Enchant. I am somewhat a Master of MTA ;) , having got Full Infinity + Mage's Book twice each. I probably have over 100k Enchant points, if it were possible. My old topic to 94 Magic shows some of this: viewtopic.php?t=708782 I've been pumping the Mage xp over the last few weeks. I canceled my p2p a week or two ago. After some calculations I found that I could get 99 Magic before my p2p ended, if I went for it. IT WOULD BE AN EPIC RACE AGAINST THE CLOCK, which it was. I have just a few hours of p2p remaining, and just scraped to 99 Magic. Toast (Toast647 ) bet I couldn't do it, but I did. :P I played the RuneCrafting minigame, Great Orb Project to get the Cosmic RuneCrafting Teleport Tablets, which proved to be much easier to RuneCraft with, and so much fast. I crafted my 36k cosmics (18k Pure Ess - 2x cosmic), and started the somewhat boring task :cry: . I doubt your current host is kicking you off for using too much hard drive space, but probably a lot of processor power. How much are you looking to spend (per month)? I would suggest you get a VPS, and try to stay away from oversellers (Hosting24, eleven2, site5 etc.) I am currently with http://evohosting.co.uk/ and they are perfect. If you want something mainstream, then you could go with http://slicehost.com/ for a VPS.

Hmm, it didn't seem to be very interesting. Stating the obvious again. I think they're just doing this to look as if they're acting more personal.

It would be great to have more interaction from Jagex using social networking sites...It is very possible that they may start using Twitter and Youtube more often after what the new CEO said. However, the barely even advertise these things on the site; I believe it got a brief mention of the forums... Also, maybe they will ACTUALLY PUT AN RSS FEED onto the site...

Go to Device Manager (type it in the Start menu). Scroll down to Universal Serial Bus. If it says Enhanced anywhere, then it's probably USB2.0. Most new computers are USB2.0 anyway. Here is a pic:

Well, Jagex did say that they were going to being improving and fixing the current content and system, which obviously means less new content, such as quests. Even though, a new minigame is quite big. I guess it'll be one extra piece of content each month?
