Not an underrated item as such, but I believe that the Mage training Arena isn't used as much as it could be for Mage training and as a Mini-game. I didn't see too many people there during all those months (maybe years :o) I was there. So lonely... :cry:

Hmm, VirtualDUb should have done it fine. I guess the options and settings can be quite confusing. If you set the codec to DivX, and keep the frame rate at 24, it should be fine. If not, I sometimes use TMPGEnc for video compressing/converting.

Hmm, well it proved more difficult that I thought. I was able to get a Standard Detail .gif under ~25KB, but it proved more difficult with a High Detail gif. Higher quality (123KB): Lower quality (60.5KB): I know its not the file size that is wanted, but depends if the admins are willing to have these slightly larger files, (probably not) :roll:. Furthermore, I was going to suggest having animated gifs for Skill Cape emotes, but I guess that's out of the window due to file size issues :(. This could also be done with RuneScape emotes I guess...

They may have been new when Tip.It received them? Possibly a delay in releasing them...kind of doubtful since it's been so long, but quite strange for Jagex to give Tip.It old images.

Not surprised. The whole RS community goes haywire because of a J Mod post while they know that the same rules and policies still apply and nothings changed. Meh.

Would you allow a short .gif of the special attack? I feel that this shows the special attack in its true nature, rather than a still image. The file sizes won't be significantly larger I'm sure, and in some cases, smaller.

Remember to have a certain flow, remember spacing (kerning), line-height, patterns, letters being joined (if you want), and even a background. Keeping it simple and not mixing up varying levels of thickness can help too. Check out the links above for some high-quality inspiration and guidance :)

Hmm, strange, the only thing I can suggest is types of audio formats. If that does not work, then perhaps there is some audio problem in the settings? Is the audio file actually playing with no sound? Or is it just being recognized and just sitting there?

The ones that are currently in use are well recognized and familiar to most. It would be pretty cool to have some RuneScape related ones though, such as Skill icons.

Javascript isn't really that hard to implement if you're using a framework ;) The most annoying part is getting full browser compatibility (use a CSS Reset). I tend to "gtfo ie6" though :lol:

I am not sure the iPhone has a good enough processor to run rs. It has quite high graphical capabilities, but yeah, I guess RuneScape has a lot of detail in its gameplay.

Nice to hear. Since RuneScape is written in RuneScript, which is read by Java (I think that's how their system works), it should be quite possible for them to port it to many different languages. Maybe RuneScape on the iPhone next? :D

Well, if you were to go with Magic, I would enchant at Mage Training Arena. You would need about 150k cosmic runes, which you could buy for about 21M off GE. You would make some of the money back from blood and death runes you get as a reward, but not all of it. This is a pretty fast and cheap method of getting 99 Magic, with 80k+ xp an hour (mostly more than that though). However, it can be quite boring, so you need to entertain yourself while doing it :P I know it is not a method that you suggested, just giving my advice based on how I got 99 Magic.

Nice nice, looking like MTA is getting more popular nowadays :P Did you craft via Abyss or with Cosmic Teletabs from GoP? (GoP would have been great to get a large amount of Pure Ess too).

Good, but I think the pen tool and glow is a bit too emphasised. Also, try using some sparkle brushes; gives a bit more mystical effect.

Bit harsh... The first one isn't bad at all, some more defined shading and the variation in thickness of the black lines, and maybe some hierarchy (few pixel thick line slightly darker/lighter than base colour). The second one looks rushed to me, if you kept it to the quality of the first one, it'd be much better. Try using the pen tool, if you aren't already.
