Pretty nice, was this based on a tutorial, I think I've seen something similar. But it's pretty well executed. The straight lines on fractal brushes is always an issue (that's how the brushes are usually made' not really meant to be shrunk down to size), but nothing a good old eraser couldn't sort out ;)

This is generally the cause of such parts of sites not loading (heavy torrenting etc.) for me and many others I guess. Just restart everything, or maybe try tomorrow...could be just one of those things.

Well, I think it looks rather nice. Yes, some parts are out of proportion and some general perspective issues (lightsaber), but I think if you were to do it again, it'd be great. The shading is looking good too. Are you using the pen tool or drawing freehand with a Graphics tablet? I just see a few uneven edges that could be fixed (and make progress significantly quicker) if you were to use the pen tool with as little clicks as possible, using the curvuture too full extent. Also a hint may be to check out some speed paintings on youtube.

I did Desert Treasure and Monkey Madness a while ago and found them quite easy. I haven't done MEP2 yet, but RFD isn't too hard either. One Small Favour isn't even that long :. I'd just find any farming related quest the most annoying :P.

Seems like they are trying to reduce player expectation : The new controls and view seems interesting, maybe something like Command & Conquer. Pic:

My personal opinion; Twilight is one of the most annoying stories that I have ever read. The characters (most of them) are so incredibly annoying, especially Bella. It is written quite poorly too (but Meyer admits this), it seems the books should be for kids, but is aimed at teen+. The storyline makes little sense, and just annoys me when reading it. Harry Potter - J K Rowling has done a perfect and job and created a masterpiece that I am sure will be read and re-read for many, many years to come.

I was doing this quest today, and was just wondering if you want to cover this in the guide. I crashed during navigating the hot air balloon, and came to a rather strange place. Auguste says the path will help you find your way back to Entrana. However, the only options I found that allow you to escape this place is to either Home teleport, use your own teleport, or logout then login. I'm not sure if this is a bug or has been previously been encountered, but certainly seemed quite strange. You also need more logs if this happens. I was going to update the balloon's controls to reflect them as they are now (for the guide), but there is not that much of a change (though Jagex could improve the control interface; quite confusing at first glance.)

Looks like this quest may also be favouring higher levels. Looking good. People should be happy that there are no low requirements for this.

When I first became p2p, I had quite a bit of knowledge on what to do and so on. Did the basic quests, then spent time in Seers training Fletching and Herblore, then bought some items to prepare for quests and so on.

Hmm, at least it's high level content. That's what everyone's been wanting for so long.

Well, I'm not offering to do anything (just don't have the time, and I have never done web design in such manner), but I would recommend your friend takes a look at ThemeForest. That website (and along with others in the Envato network and marketplace) is one of the best places for high-quality designs. I'm sure he can find something he likes. But again, I'm sure your friend must have checked out sites that are selling templates already. #-o He could use WordPress with the E-Commerce addon, if he is wishing to venture into it himself (such as editing or modifying an existing free theme).

So change the lighting detail then. I always put it on as bright as possible but it's still really dark in dungeons and stuff. That was the point of the new graphics, to make dungeons and so on look more realistic. You wouldn't walk into a underground dungeon and expect it to be like daylight would you? I much prefer the HD graphics, they are definitely an improvement no matter what. :thumbup:

I think we're allowed to use them since we have all the correct crediting. Indeed. That's what I thought too. They're also used on the site, and other fansites, so I don't think it's a problem.

Greaters were already f2p (level 45 wildy I think). But yeah, surprising that these high levelled monsters are for f2p too. I don't think it's a mistake. At least it'll keep some f2p people happy. :thumbup:
