  1. Meh.. Basically people have this thing set up for the Bible, because its alot ot read, that you can read it in a year by doing chapter by chapter per day, ect. I was figuring since Runescape has so many updates, we could make a log in where you could do certain quests each day, finishing them all within a years time. ~Defender~
  2. Hey everyone, I been thinking lately. Runescape has a TON of updates. Every week or two something new to try is updated into the game. So, it appears that so much stuff has been added, its impossible to do everything even in a month. I was thinking how you know they got the 1 year bible? What if we did that with Runescape? Each day/week you would do this quest, all leading up to finishing all the quests in the game? Wanted feedback from you guys. ~Defender~
  3. +1 cool points for you? You wouldn't know that till you prove God does not exist? You speak as if it was a fact. ~Defender~
  4. Emo's do not exist. If they do exist, its creation came from humans. Since humans created it, it never existed before. Since it never existed before, there is nothing to worry about, its just humans being stupid and labeling things for fads. ~Defender~
  5. I believe some people say no because they think they will look cool in front of everyone else or perhaps they think its a sign of weakness. We are born to lean at times, our strength can only go so far. I do pray to God in need and sometimes when I don't need. What does it hurt? Honestly.. what does it hurt? ~Defender~
  6. That would suck IMO. Then you cannot personalize your view on a specific game that way without other discussions colliding in. If you dislike it, just say so. No one is forcing you to play it or view the thread in general. I disagree with your view and hope that one never comes into play just because "you don't like the mmo" or "crappy 1 liners". This is the game forum you know. ~Defender~
  7. Mario is only famous in my opinion because his classics were innovating at the time or just simpley a new type of gameplay. Now that game engines are reaching their peak, most games are "I been there, I done that before". For example.. Mario 64.. very innovating. A 3d world with all types of fun. In todays games, thats NOTHING compared to what game engines can do. It becomes a endless cycle that a First Person Shooting is the same as the next one.. just different features/styles/models and enviroment settings. Nothing innovating is being offered anymore, which is why it seems like games and their gameplay suck. We most likely played the same type of gameplay but better on another game that we got bored of. I'm personally waiting for Crysis. Thats going to be the most innovating FPS ever to hit the market in my opinion.. ~Defender~
  8. Christian 4 lyfe. ~Defender~
  9. Like I said.. You need one of these... Shot at 2007-07-07 ~Defender~
  10. I really don't care. If you discrimate against someone for whatever reason, your no good as they are. You just owned yourself. Sounds like the KKK's comming back verabally, white sheets got dirty to much anyway. Anti-Emo Power! Right.. =; ~Defender~
  11. What is this.. "Television" that you guys speak of? :-k Video games are the best entertainment to me.. You control the action and events ;) I do like some cartoons tho on TV.. like the Avatar, thats kewl. ~Defender~
  12. When did you stop playing? About 6 months ago I think.. Why did you stop playing? It got boring. I mean there was good updates time after time, but I constantly felt friendless. My internet friends rarely played, it was me competiting with their goals, that kept my own up. Even when I was solo it was just so boring and stupid doing the same thing over and over for no reason. Everytime you tried to show off, some other higher level would always come by and ruin it. The experience barriers between 80 and 99 was far to high. For example, I calculated that I would have to spend 2 months, 12 hours a day just to get 99 agility at my current level, 81. Talk about a waste of time and life.. Do you still keep up with the updates? Yeah I do, Jagex has some GREAT updates.. but now I feel I could never catch up.. not to mention I ask myself, what would I be going back to? The endless grind, no fun, and no friends? No thanks.. Do you still log on occasionally? Once in a blue moon but I log out after a few minutes more.. F2P is like 5 years behind Membership.. How has your life changed? It hasn't really.. because I just went to other games :XD: But I can say that i'm glad I moved on. I would hate to say I was the depressed little nut that stayed with Runescape for 20 years.. lol. What do you do on the computer now? Play other MMO's.. like RF Online. Are there moments when you want to start playing runescape again? I do, but only if I have my friends. I see so many people with guilds that go off and do things together.. but usually my schedule is limited so I just stay solo.. ~Defender~
  13. I saw a youtube video or 2 about it.. but I don't get what so great about this game? Isn't this just like any other game where you slice in a direction - kill zombie - slice in another - kill ally by mistake, type of game? I mean, whats new about it that others aren't offering..? ~Defender~
  14. I enjoyed the demo, but building just takes far too long in my opinion. I find that if your doing a Skirmish with AI on hard, you can easily win if you use Rush Tactics. If you decided to pull out for the long run, you'll have a challenge for you then. ~Defender~
  15. I find the ability to not get more HP off my Main Commander stupid. Only 10,000 hp? Just Bomb me to death = GG, game over. ~Defender~
  16. What, in holy smeg, are you talking about? He's saying that Bush could pull of taking over the world, like Hilter wanted to do.. because we have allies, the largest navy, and the 3rd largest army (but the most technological advanced). ~Defender~
  17. Well, lets pretend for a moment that God did not exist. It is 100% Truth and Fact. What would happen to the world? Well since the Bible is thrown away, the whole "love unconditionally" is also thrown away. So I would expect alot more fighting, and alot less rational thinking for "peace". Since everyone wants to go their own way, then no one goes anywhere. Teamwork is key but who would listen? Then you would have those who only want you to listen and act on their side but will not giving a lending ear to yours. Morality may it be good or bad (in my opinion good), would be thrown out, as who is teaching it? Certainly not the schools, as that would be unconstitutional. What about all these children who grow up now, who do not have a religion in their life? Some are doing well, but most are doing terrible. All based on how they was raised. Then after "enjoying".. your life .. you then proceed to die in fear, because you are not immortal. However, if you was a christian, you would atleast die without fear, having hope of heaven. I see a brighter world with christianity than without. And please do not mention the crusades against it.. that was so long ago, you won't see a army of christians lining up at your door, so please relate it to present times. ~Defender~
  18. GG - Good Game. Real life was fun while it lasted, on to the next life. ~Defender~
  19. First off, the debate forum is for debates related to Runescape. This ain't. Secondly, seriously, stop with the whining about 'attacking' your religion. I'm not attacking it, i'm questioning it (which i'm perfectly entitled to do so). No, i'm not going to lock it because some Christians are offended, but nor would I lock a thread where some atheists, or liberals were offended. Like I said, freedom to criticise, freedom of speech and freedom to hold an opinion are fundamental. I don't 'like' attacking you, because I don't attack you in the first place. What I do like doing is debating with reasonable open-minded Christians about their faith. If you don't want to do it then that's fine, i'm not saying you have to do, just stop making such a fuss when I try and have a debate with some that do. Yeah, the threads got a little off track now (okay, a lot), but it's still fine by my book. If you want to let it die then just let it die. There is no such thing as freedom of speech on the internet. If athiests were loosing this debate, it would have been locked long ago. ~Defender~ Atheists don't lose religious debates. They're on offense, and debates - just like sports - are lost on defense, not offense. True, christians can turn it around though. Rather than defending their points, only to be questioned again and again, they should question athiest and agnostic views and be on the offense themselfs. ~Defender~
  20. wow this is kewl, thanks ^_^ ~Defender~

  22. Hello fellow tip it'ers. Going through this topic, its been quite a intresting show. However, no matter what I write, or what anyone else here writes, no one is going to change anyone elses mind, because you can only change your mind yourself. So i'm willing to make a wager. Currently I am a christian, but I would be willing to change my mind and go agnostic or athiest if you fellow non-religious people will do me 1 small favor. Instead of judging christianity by the conduct of christians, judge christianity by the conduct of Christ. If you find fault, I will turn to athiest or agnostic on the flip of a coin. ~Defender~
  23. I loved FF7 the best. I remember getting all the way to disc 2, in the submarine station where the giant robot attacks you and died without a memory card. Then I just started over  FF7 is just simpley the best because its 1 of the few games that actually dives you into scene, and its not your average plot. There is alot of suspense the whole time, and chasing after sephiroth is pretty fun. Don't really care what FF7 haters say, alot of people loved and enjoy it and more power to them! The thing about FF7 was it was never really a "go get them, done deal" game. You always was side tracked in the story by something, and they even added pretty meaningless scenes, like when you go to the park and talk with Tifa. But thats what makes it so great, because your getting to know your charater and the others more. Its fun just walking down the street and then shinra guards attempt to arrest you, so instead, you jump on a train and hitch it out! Not alot of developers do that in games, they just say "you go here and because the bad guy hates you, now you gotta go here". ~Defender~
  24. I play it.. name is Shawnthehealer, last server. ~Defender~
  25. I love the idea but I don't think it would work out. There is no guarentee that the person you help will help someone else. Second, thats a quick way to get poor if your doing "big" things like cars. Pay it forward wouldn't work for poor people, only those with a decent paycheck. I say just the random act of kindness in itself is the greatest reward. I wouldn't spoil it by telling them they have to go out and help others, which most wouldn't anyway. ~Defender~
