The plan was to get at least 95 to 98 Construction, and maybe another level or 2 I was close to, and then (if i was on enough this weekend) to spend the rest of my time making 11k+ air battlestaffs... (aka, just do enough work to get 5 levels for 2400 total this bxp weekend.) WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS.... Did the standard full out farm run (minus a spirit tree of the 2 that didnt grow in time, dam diseased plants with farmers -.-) I wound up REALLY REALLY enjoying flatpacking mahog tables...so I did from (8830k exp) 95 to 99 construction. (99 con for 2400) and got 91 agility off strange rocks for 2401 total. 400k+ farm exp, 4.2m+ con exp / 99 con 25k agil, and 100k+ crafting.

So ya, looks like another decent month for RS, little content however, yet should be a decent month none the less. Though August was quite a nice though as I loved the trekking update, and as of yesterday I hear the quest was pretty amazing. :mrgreen: Also this. Even though I am greedy and I could use a few hours of BXP to get closer to max cape lol.

Also just to clarify about the whole: "does lumberjack stuff still drop or not if you already have a full set" topic...the answer is YES IT CAN STILL DROP Just had prolly my 6th or 7th Undead lumberjack one (seemed to be way more common for me before) and I did just get a Lumberjack top drop. So now I am up to 23 boots, 10 (or 17 idm) hats, 9 pants, and 2 tops now.

AMAZING UPDATE!!! I used to love Temple Trekking before, and now I just absolutely [bleep]ing loveeee it. Only things I disliked about it before was that I couldn't get a LJ top to save my life, 23 boots, 10 pants, and 9 hats later I finally did. Wonder if I take my lone top and drop it when that event starts if I can get a back up set or 2 or whatever like that....as long as the I "technically" dont have the items that I "need" it should always drop for me that way right? But ya, Already got Bandos boy to 99, Pazuzu is at 73 or so and taking a bit longer, the rest are at lvl 30...all in 4 or 5 hours time and the biggest thing of all..............I ACTUALLY HAD FUN FOR SEVERAL HOURS IN A ROW ON RUNESCAPE...hell I was even losing track of the time at points. Thank god I had the day off for a change.

The "awesome sword" you got from the void quest would be Korasi, and yes Rapier is much better to kill anything, especially metal dragons with. Go get another 15 or so Dungeoneering levels and get yourself one. :thumbup:

You might want to go check your adventurer's log and see what your time played is currently. If it is already decently high, you might have to scrap this account and start all over, if truly having THE FASTEST game time to all 99s / 2496 total is your PRIMARY goal / achievement you are going for. I want to say I remember seeing someone posting recently on tipit that did it in 150ish? or so days....so just thought I would throw that out there for you. I might try and look for that for you later if I can get some extra time later today. Just wondering, is English you're first language? Reason I ask is it looks like you left a word or some words out of this response. Also, I don't know how you expect him to make mahogany tables from sets of OAK planks. :lol: :lol: :lol: But it is all fine and dandy, I think everyone here understands what you were meaning to say just fine. :wink:

I mentioned something about it on the new thread you just posted. But for about 2-3 minutes that message was up on the front page, and it was posted below Todays current graphical update and game changes. Then roughly 2 minutes later it was removed and replaced with the current one (the new thread you just posted), above todays game updates.

Ya I like how they quickly removed the post that they put below todays Game update, that showed a dozen or 2 dozen worlds that would be offline, and likely stay that way overnight....and just quickly said, "[bleep] it, everything is down" and made a new newspost and made it go to the front of the stack. LOL

Alone, sure. But if Jagex raised the Level limit to 120 or higher for all skills, then it'd be perfect. Which is (if im not mistaken) something they said they would NEVER do? And alas, we have Dungeoneering... And regarding the whole XP I am not sure which way I would like it to go. Both have great points and arguments to them, and as it would likely never personally effect me, I guess that keeps me from ever having to definitively side with one side or the other. --- Which is why, I THINK, the best way to appeal to the masses on both sides of the whole "XP Cap" / "Ranks" debate, would be to just raise all the skills to dam 120 or something else over 99 as well. Because lets face it, that should appeal to both sides. The rank chasers now have more skills to level up, their favorite skills / 200mils would give them a huge advantage over the 2496's with 440mil total or whatever. All the while...the folks that grinded out the 200mils when they were harder and did it first will still keep their individual skill rank set in stone. Because, lets face it, no matter how the hell you slice it, runescape is not a hard / challenging game to play in anyway other then time. So why not let the person with essentially speaking (or 99% of the time anyways) the most time invested in their 200mil skill keep the best ranks for it? (INB4....debateaboutamountsoftimepeoplehavetoplaythegame...that always seems to be triggered from just about anything on here nowadays.)

IKR! (well I mean I am...but...) IT does seem like this has some serious potential to be one of if not their best update of the year, as they mentioned earlier. However, I do know that Jagex is pretty good at letting us all down and what not, so I am not gonna jump on that train just yet. ^ Though I sure can't lie, I am really wanting to, just looking at this teaser and teasers of old plus the mention of how many codes and animations they are talking of adding to the citidal stuff..

I was just thinking of asking this. I thought you'd say that you were glad you did fasts first because you got the high ranks. Doing fasts first could be as important as doing slayer after range. Zarfot was smart to do buyables first. Also about Jack of trades giving a 10k lamp, I don't think that will be the case because the effect lasts for several hours. Any reason this 10k lamp is getting tossed around in relations to Jack of Trades? Was this just speculation or was this something leaked or something on HLF or...? (I think I saw suomi mention it first, but I can't be [bleep]ed with checking) Anyways, I don't know what I hope they wind up doing with Jack of Trades. As I see it in my head right now if they use any sort of percentage boost it would likely be stupidly effective exp gains achieved daily, like on the scale of a daily renewable effigy for 10 skills, which would be massively OP. For example you earn 100 xp in 9 skills then go RC for an hour or 2 or god forbid use some effigies, and get 5 or 10% of that total exp gained in each skill. Maybe thats why that 10k lamp was mentioned, only logical way of doing this, then again we have had effigies for over a year now? This is jagex...why follow logic.

Just wanted to say it will definately be interesting to see how these auras unfold over the next few months and maybe even year+ (whenever jagex starts to make higher lvl aura tiers / new auras) Also just wanted to say I have even more respect for you now SUOMI and wish you even more luck and continued success on the journey ahead of you. I know the items can be smuggled 100%. Whether they have the effect, idk. My friend doesn't have a hex or blood necklace to smuggle out to check. It's highly unlikely you'll be banned unless you go and PK with them. Remember, if you're not scamming or making other players mad, JaGex doesn't particularly care. O believe me, this I do KNOW. Long with most of the rest of tip.it. :lol: But ya, and I can't remember, but it prolly looks similar to a fury and if you have a cannon and steel titan out + curse deflects and claws / titan specs a few more hit splats everywhere noone will even notice the difference. :lol: Also, among all the firemaking bots I have reported and trapped with cannon in the past few weeks in varrock west. I can reconfirm its not just a matter of I don't think they know just how bad the bots are. And when I say this, I mean on the scale of their capabilities. I saw a picture / Jmod forum post just a few weeks ago, dated May 20, 2011 I believe saying that: "there are no dungeoneering bots." "anyone saying they can bot dung is lying / spreading rumors" "Dung Can not be botted because it is randomly generated" etc etc etc. Funny thing is I didn't see this post/picture till I watched a Dung Bot in action on youtube...
