Playstation 3 - Failure?
I'd say the Ps3 is a failure. There are a few things they could do to redeem it...but at the moment, it is a failure. I agree with the article.

Ps3 vs. Xbox 360
If you want to play FPSs, I'm sure most would agree if I said go and get a PC. I've played FPSs on Xbox and PC....I'd say PC is MUCH better for FPSs. The 360 comes close though. Gears of War, Half Life 2 and it's many, many spawn, Call of Duty series..... And Henman, is the only game you've ever played Resistance or are you just a Ps3 fanboy? I dare say that Call of Duty 3 was better than Resistance..just my opinion though. And Half Life 2 was probably the greatest FPS I've ever played. And before someone says it...Halo doesn't come close to touching Half Life 2. It's good, but not as good as HL: 2.

Help me play RuneScape!
...Buy a new computer? I dunno...play over at a friends house? ..........or you could take the ultimate risk and make your firewall block all activity from that..if it can do that. I say just quit RS. Obviously they don't want you playing it....

Legality of moving OS from one PC to another
You own the OS, do what you want with it. That's my outlook...who cares if it's legal . You bought it with the computer, do whatever you want.

Help me play RuneScape!
Ask them to unblock RS and it's Fansites. If it's because of the game itself that they downloaded it, good luck convincing them. Or...you could use the stupid trick of Uninstalling it...but they'd notice >.<

Slow loading (Not normal speed)
...wow. Call your ISP...it's probably on their end.

Do i need to upgrade?
Well i play guild wars on it (i have for about a year now). I don't do filesharing. All i use it for are for uploading vids to youtube, playing runescape and playing guild wars. But it seems fine now. Yeah, you should be fine for quite a while. If an upgrade was necessary, I'd say upgrade the video card...but if you're playing guild wars then your Vcard is probably fine. I'm playing on a 64 mb integrated video card (*shudder*)...but at least it plays well enough ^_^

Uber Lagg. XBL the culprite?
I doubt that xbox live would interfere with the PC. I suggest the (quite generic answers) following: 0) Show us your system specs. If you don't know how, then go to start > run...and then type dxdiag. Look around a bit (dont change anything), and it should show your system specs somewhere. 1) Are you running applications in the background, such as Anti-viruses, Instant Messaging, Media Player, stuff like that? 2) ...do you run a File-Sharing program, like Limewire? 3) I also suggest a Spyware scan. use Ad-aware or Spybot: Search and Destroy to scan. Spyware takes a lot of system resources if you let it build up. I'd also suggest a virus scan using a scanner such as Norton Antivirus, NOD32, or AVG Free Edition. 4) If none of these are true.....I say get Hijack this and post the log. I don't know much about reading those, but somebody else will. EDIT: As Nadril said, Speedtest is a good way to check your internet connection. Post results here.

If you were allowed one more gaming session (theoetically)
...Not sure. I'd probably play melee with 3 other guys whom I have in mind....we'd have a ball doing it.

Your best gaming moments
[hide=Guild Wars]I was playing Guild Wars with a friend. We're at the end of the Frost Gate mission....and around 7 Stone Summit dwarves, 2 Dolyak Riders, and a couiple of sages come out. The Stone Summit are dwarves...weak to magic, but they're heavily armored with high HP. Dolyak riders are Stone Summit riders on giant Yaks. Very powerful...and they can dispel hexes. Anyways. I casted a hex on one of the Dolyak Riders (If the hexed monster is attacked with physical damage, any monster close to it is damaged for -18 every strike). The Dolyak, in this case, came before the summit. As the summit ran through the small canyon-like thing, 2 melee henchmen and my friend ran towards the dolyak to fight. -18's popped up EVERYWHERE around the Dolyak Rider.....and the 17 or so unit war ended in about 20 seconds because of the insane amount of damage from that and 2 fire storms :XD: Bodies were everywhere...my friend was like 'WHAT THE HECK?!!?!' :XD:[/hide] [hide=Halo 2]We were in Midship..me and the friend from GW. I had a shotgun, he had plasma grenades and the sword (N00b weapon). I was on quarter shield because he had thrown a frag and I just missed it. He jumped about 10 halofeet in front of me....and threw a frag grenade. Now, I dont know how this happened. But where he was jumping forward, the frag grenade was right in front of him. I fired the shotgun at the same second he threw. The grenade SOMEHOW blew up right in front of him..not damaging me at all, and killing him instantly! Whereas I also hit him with the shotgun, his corpse was spinning like crazy for a few seconds on the ground :XD:[/hide]

Ps3 vs. Xbox 360
A) I'm not so sure about the Ps3, except I know that a big issue is Hard Drive space. I think it goes down to 40 GB. As for the 360, the Core Edition has only the 360. The Xbox 360 Premium/Pro has the 20GB Hard Drive, and there is now a deal that includes 2 free games and a hardware upgrade of some sort. The 360 Elite has a 120 GB Hard Drive, updated Hardware, a cool-looking black finish, among other features. B) I dont know much about the Ps3's lineup..I stopped paying attention a while back. The 360 has a variety of First Person Shooters, and there are a few adventure games there also. I think there are a few RPGS. C) I personally think the 360 is better. I could go into a huge explanation, but it'd go off topic. I say 360 though.

Good for RS?
[hide=Off-topic discussion...sorry] Well, at least since you're using Win98SE, you don't need so much RAM for the main OS or much anything else, but the hard disk size is going to get you (You could use something a little larger, like 20 GB)... That and the video card (32 MB FTW?) and possibly a potential need for a slightly quicker CPU (Like 500 MHz) ........... But other than that, you're definitely fine. :) On the other hand (and to get back on-topic), I still have yet to hear what RazorAce's OS and ISP are... :-k ...once I know, I'll be able to go to the right spot in my brain. <*Walks out, dizzy and overloaded... He'll be back later, looking for RazorAce's reply.*> ~Mr. Devnull Lol, There's no way I'm going to upgrade this thing. It's about to die as it is...Windows is taking up so much stuff, I'm just booting off of the DS Linux Live CD anymore. In fact..I take that back. I'm seriously considering formatting this hard drive and installing Linux. If you are upgradng it, it may be worth just buying an old machine off Ebay or something, and pinching it's RAM and Hard drive. [/hide] Nah. I'll probably end up just formatting, buying a 20 GB Hard Drive and then installing Linux on that. 4GB just isnt cutting it.

which OS system should i use?
I prefer Linux nowadays...but Windows xp is still a solid OS. If you like Windows XP, stick with it. I like XP...mainly because it's the second best Microsoft OS I've ever used besides 98SE. If you like Windows, stick with it. Be sure to have a decent system, and keep your computer protected and I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. If you ever get tired of it though, there are multiple Linux distros available to try on a Live CD....as described above. I'd try Ubuntu for a normal system, or D**n Small Linux or Puppy for a smaller system.

what is this?
I'd do a Spyware/Virus scan. Do you have any family members that also play? Maybe they're on your IP, guessing at your account info. If none of these show up...quite honestly, I'd log off of this tip.it account IMMEDIATELY and go to Here. I know a keylogger would probably get it correct the first time..but if you have downloaded, saw, or done anything that that sticky classifies as being related to a keylogger, I would follow those instructions until you are SURE it is gone.

Do i need to upgrade?
You should be fine for just about anything you really want to do....with exceptions, such as big gaming (Bioshock, WoW). If you must, I'd upgrade to at least 1GB RAM. Other than that, it's really unnecessary to upgrade. Unless you mean it's getting very slow..slower than it has been. If this is the case, I recommend a spyware/virus scan. I have 160 MB RAM on the computer, and it was running like it had 32 MB for a while. I scanned...now it's fine. If you're doing lots of File Sharing (Limewire, etc.) Then these scans are a must.

17-year-old disciplined for shotgun shells at school
To blast a shotgun shell without the gun, like he said, you'd probably need a vice to hold it in place for a strike hard enough to shoot it. Even if you started to do that though, it's obvious that it would be extremely inconvenient and people around would see what she was doing. If nobody saw, there's nobody around..and thus no chance for injury at all.

what is wrong with my comp? should i just upgrade?
Exactly. Which goes even further with proving that Apple, although not perfect, is at least trying harder from a consumer observation in order to keep their products Working and Secure.

ZoneAlarm Firewall
Alright, thanks! Wish me luck ^_^

ZoneAlarm Firewall
I guess I said that wrong. I'm using the Live CDs. I still plan to use Windows until I'm comfortable with the idea of installing Linux on this computer. I'm not the slightest bit worried about Linux Viruses.

ZoneAlarm Firewall
Most of you know the situation with the computer in my room...old, outdated..yet, I've still got it working fine. Here are the specs: 433 mhz Intel Celeron Processor 160 MB RAM 4 GB HD Space (crappy, I know. Upgrade, I'm not gonna waste my time doing for this computer) 8MB Video Card Windows 98 SE Yes, yes...very old computer. I should buy a new one. I won't though..I'm experimenting with Linux to bring this back to life. But anyhoo...back on topic. Honestly, I'm tired of Spyware/Viruses on this old machine. It's outdated. And because of the lack of Support for this, I'm very, VERY vulnerable to anything that wants to walk on into my computer....as if Windows wasn't vulnerable enough already. I have Spybot - Search and Destroy to control Spyware, and I have AVG 7.5 Antivirus...well, you can figure out what it does. I'm really tired of worrying about it. So I want a Firewall for this to help control it all. With my system requirements, could I possibly run ZoneAlarm Firewall? I hear it is a very secure, very good Firewall.
