  1. What about the ones who aren't shallow idiots? Well, some children need to start in the shallow end of the pool when they're still learning how to swim.
  2. It's cricket as in the insect. The other one you're thinking about is croquet.
  3. Combined B.Education/B.Arts at the University of Sydney. Going into my second year.
  4. Did Paramore kill your mother or something? I mean I don't like them either, but my way of expressing that is by not listening to their music.
  5. On the contrary, photos like that are usually pretty much something to look up to in england. yeah, all we really have to do is drink so, yknow... Well, you also have cricket. Oh wait.
  6. Source? Oh, wait.
  7. But hey, you have to give the modern-day Somalian pirates some credit. It takes a special sort of man, with incredible testicular fortitude, to fire an RPG-7 at a USN destroyer with deck-mounted machine guns that can destroy the pirate's vessel.
  8. I fail to see why anyone gives a flying rat's arse.

  11. Damn straight, if people are going to start pulling the "historical facts" card.
  12. Now, when you get to uni, don't be shocked when the majority of your marks land around the 50-60% range.
  13. What was it like? It was good. Really good.
  14. My source is reading it multiple times in different history books. I'll do a quick web search since you don't feel inclined for some references. http://www.taots.co.uk/content/view/25/30/ You can find more if you want. That's funny, because in all the time I've spent in dusty university libraries, not once have I seen a reference to the incident you described. Please provide me with an academic source. And to all the people using the ninja stereotype: ninja were historically peasant guerrillas. There was no hard or mystical training to speak of. It's difficult to be a credible threat when all you have to work with are converted farming tools. Ships and boats with guns on them. And if they were so undisciplined, then explain how they ever became as big a threat to commercial shipping as they did.
  15. No. I'm a shapeshifter who has an inventory of different personalities to suit my present needs. Seriously, what kind of a question is that?

That should be enough keywords. Ha. People taking what's said on the internet seriously? More fool them. It's not like they can do anything to me all the way from Ameri
  18. Ninjas sneak around being sneaky. Pirates sail around getting booty of all types. Pirates win. QED.
  19. Don't worry, nobody cares about year 9 because nothing you do in it matters. Same goes for everything up to the HSC, which, in fact, isn't that big a deal itself. Once you get to uni, you'll find out that the people who studied hard to get into medicine or law courses were gimped because anyone with half a brain can always take liberal studies or arts and then transfer into those courses if they so wished.

  21. Protip: 30cm is approximately one foot.
  22. Why is he leading an attack if he's an assassin? Why is he calling it a "genocide" if it's just a few people, let alone anything short of an entire race? Why does a bank guard know all the sensitive details about the place he patrols? How does the guard manage to remember all that and be able to recount it while drunk?
  23. I've never encountered a delinquent police officer here in Australia. There was one time, however, when I had an encounter with a transit officer on the train back when I was in high school. They're people who are employed by the rail company to catch fare evaders and people who are mucking around on trains. Anyhow, this guy was doing a routine check of people's tickets on the carriage, when he came up to check mine. I showed him my ticket and concession card to prove I was a student (I was out of uniform at the time, having been on my way home from fencing). He graciously informed me that my concession card expired on the 3rd of March - I think it was the 10th or something at that point - then tore it up without allowing me a response. I didn't like that. I pointed out to him, loudly so anyone who cared to be listening could hear, that he was hilariously wrong and the concession card actually expired on the 31st. There was an awkward silence. No harm done, because we were getting our renewed ones the next week anyhow. Too bad I didn't quite get his name, because then I would have given him hell through his employers for inconveniencing me for a week.
