well i can see why it'd be frustrating to you, you're not (trying not to be snide) the highest level person in the world. i've killed multiple campers just by one iteming them or pickpocketing. yes you may say that's just as bad but, hey i want to play and you're directly interfering with that. what's really really weird, is that i'll pickpocket a mages runes and then kill him and he would be all mad. that's normal, but what's rather odd is they ask to add me and be buddy buddy with me.... it's really weird :XD:

WTF YOU NUB1#!^$%& -one itemer noob -dagger noob -double team noob -noob -theive noob -camp noob -ancient noob -fog noob -not so ancienter noob (it's been said more than once, trust me) -nerd/no life/40 y/o virgin -female anatomy part.... the reproductive variety. -a bundle of sticks. now this is a rant ranting about the rants that people rant on about stealing creation. it took me a solid 10 seconds to make sure that made sense. now, i love this new minigame, and i'd hate to see some sour pusses go and ruin it by going around and throwing the above mentioned assumptions/funny remarks around to people that are just... trying to keep that ice burster away from their base. it's not my fault you decided to bring 14 thousand elemental runes to my base where i can easily pickpocket you. in fact i believe it's your own stupidity that should be to blame. the fact you brought 12k catalytic (is that how it's spelt?) runes isn't something to be proud of either, because now i just got most clay deposited award for my team and highest score in just 2 successful pickpockets. it would be further regarded as sheepish when people go and join the team that has the level 120-130 on it. i tend to be a rather high influence on which team people go on, being level 114, so i do the reverse phsycology thing, and i am now the last person that joins the team if i'm the most powerful, or of the most powerful, person that are playing. i tend to go to the underdog or blue because i like the color. thank you for reading my wall of text :

if i gave any one seizures because of my wall of text, i'm sorry lol. it's actually kind of a good thing to read because it has some valid points in there. i'm not seeing any one post some valid points about how bandos is totally awesome and needed. i can agree with the whole, menacing skirt argument. all tassets looks like is a shabby skirt anyway. chest plate does looks sick though with slayer helm on i must admit. i'd buy that just to have the cool feeling of looking at myself looking like that :roll: . otherwise it's a complete waist of time, money and pixels.

You were [bleep] about bandos boot's price, when the entire reason they are worth something (along with the sara and zammy bracers) is because people wear them when doing the GWD to protect themselves from that god's minions. I have a pair myself, even though I hate the look, for slayering in the Bandos encampment. He was mentioning that he doesn't wear the boots because he uses the Bandos pool instead, but a lot of people including myself prefer to just use the boots because it doesn't wear off in one hour and doesn't force you to travel halfway around the map. Nobody is so deluded to think that Bandos boots are better than dragon, they wear them for one reason and one alone; for use in the GWD. If it were not for the GWD, I could easily see the price on those boots dropping to the 400k range. Not to mention your comment that bandos armor is just not useful is about as far fetched as it comes. Bandos plate is the perfect combination between defense and strength bonus for training in most cases, and honestly, when training, the +6 strength you are losing by wearing dh will affect you much more than the 30ish defense. On a max strength player, that's an xp increase on average of around 2-3k more xp per hour at the cost of nothing you will miss. Honestly, the impression I'm getting from your thread is of somebody who is jealous that he can't afford the latest status armor and so is dissing everybody else that can. [/hide] i started to mention bandos boots AFTER i said that. not before. i should have said that but i didn't think i had too. actually come to think of it i did. i read your post about why he said that and you were right about that and i withdraw that statement about it not being relevant. apologies. regardless i still dismiss bandos armor being of any use other than them being used in gwd. i don't think that buying 1.1m for boots is a good idea for recreational use other than gw but for that use it's a good investment. cacmypants had it right when he said he used to pool instead of buying the boots. i'd rather borrow em for X amount of hours instead of buying em. even if i end up spending more than 1.1m rather spend 1.1m in the long run than right away. car makers even know that. people still haven't bought their houses because of a mortgage that they took out. fixed payments is what i like and a lot of people do as well. i got off topic a little bit sorry, just don't want this getting into another discussion about how renting is dumb. by the way you saying that i didn't say they'd be not useful is a lie. i said that if you were to kill things that require a quazi high defense then, yes it would be a good idea to bring it. but then again, if you're going to bring something like a sgs, bunyip or unicorn that can just heal you rapidly and you're health is not an issue, then bringing a fighter torso is the better choice. i did not state that bringing bandos armor entirely is a dumb idea. i stated that it's not good if you don't often go kill things that are feeble such as maybe greater demons, or for the lesser levels, lesser demons (no pun intended). oh yes. the impression your getting is right but it's not the case. it's something that it is shown but the way in how you said it is rather snide so i'm not appreciating it. i have 25m to my name and i have a 3 month investment in my kingdom that i'm expecting a 10m+ grant from by the end of december. i can afford full bandos but, it'd be a dumb idea because... well OF HOW STUPID IT'D BE TO GET IT. hence the reason of the thread. i did research, obviously, about bandos armor before i did the ignorant thing of buying it before looking at the stats. quite frankly the +6 strength bonus is not worth as much money as i'd like. you can choose not to believe i have enough money but it's really irrelevant to the topic. i can talk about how i blew 400k yesterday on chocolate dust so that i can make energy potions that barely make a dent on my herblore exp, or how i have 51 glory's that i refuse to sell because i hate charging them, perhaps maybe that i have 5k mithril enchanted bolts i have because it'd be better to be prepared when you go to steel dragons then not prepared. or maybe how i had 2m in coal that i didn't use that i got from my kingdom that i didn't even touch for over 4 months because i just didn't have the initiative to go out and train smithing. it's now down to 5k coal (nearly 1m) because i killed cockroaches and got some mithril ore. the fact that none of my runes fall below the 1.1k amount level could be a sign of amount insecurity and money negligence but really that's not a problem. if you want a bank picture, i'd be happy to show you one. if you want me to post one, ok fine. but really at 114 combat it's expected to have as much money i do isn't it? you could do the verac skirt, prosolyte plate, piety argument for any form of meele. it's just a wild card. i also don't like it because you have to use prayer potions but i'd imagine it would take a little bit of time for that to happen but not one that i could see that makes much of an impact. i think all the arrows were pulled out of my chest. can some one check if i missed something?

huh :-s? first off.... we're talking about tassets.... not plate... 2nd off... you're spelling is horrendous. third- i'd prefer dharok plate over bandos plate if i was to be going somewhere that has powerful monsters. if i was going to kill like greater demons then i'd bring myself bandos plate. right now i bring fighter torso which has +4 strength bonus (which is the same as bandos plate anyway) so right not your response seems rather bleak. and you know what?! dragon boots are better than bandos boots!! they have a +4 strength bonus and bandos has none! bandos boots are 1.1m and dragon boots are 230k and falling. god damn it jagex! you made quite possibly the dumbest armor ever and introduced it to the dumbest crowd i've ever seen! oh this topic is getting revamped to how stupid bandos armor is in a whole....

congratulations guys. i thought i had a thread asking for help on what cape to get and instead you turn it around and say do what you want. i gave you a list of what i want! i enjoy them all the same, hence the list. ballr- you sir are funny. i don't mind your spamming :). you had valid points on how getting money and making money on getting a 99 skill doesn't matter. because quite frankly it doesn't. i've made a couple million from runecrafting. i found a bunch of ways to make money and i don't need money makers. like for example in 2-3 weeks i made approx. 3-4m just from barrows. and that was the first time i'd done it since summer. so quite frankly i could have gotten loads of money and have bought myself an ags but i don't need money. i've had the same amount of money since around September. here's what i don't need right now= all stats 70+, any combat relayed achievements, to kill anything, to buy anything (ags bgs ss zgs) here's what i have (i'm not lazy you know!)= quest cape, full void, achievement diaries in lumb, varrok (just need to get ivy bush and it's done), and karajma. i've done all miniquests, and i've got 70+ summoning banked. oh yes and i've got well over 30 clay tools from the stealing creation minigame that i haven't left since it came out. too all of your who said 70+ is way better than 60+.... look. i only use tears of guthix for construction. anything that's below level 70 (for the exception for rc and summ) means i loathe doing that skill.

you probably are. the zerker ring is a good point but, it doesn't have the "effort" that you have put in for it. what that effort is i couldn't care less. not sure if there's such thing as effort in this game. point click wait. call it effort? i do not.

i'm relying on personal experience on how you think getting a 99 would be. i know that people have different experiences but i just want a stupid 99 to get it over with. there any possibilty i can make money on fletching to 99 without cutting my own logs?

i've got about 21m and i want to spend a little less than 10m on a skill. i have no flippin clue on which one i want though! the ones i don't want are: farm, con, sum, any combat ones, fm, herb, theiv, mining, agility so that leaves: cooking, wcing, fletch, smithing, rc, herb, fishing, crafting, hunting i could just choose one by just looking at the list but i want some one to tell me which one is you know... best is what i'm trying to say. >.< please help

This is possible - but the week you take adjusting to this will be absolute hell. I would not recommend doing this. you know you're obsessed with runescape when you sacrifice a bodily need with getting a 99. you can always just take cocaine. that stuff will make you want to stay up for days. weeks maybe. oh yeah you don't want teeth, control of nasal canal, or a brain without holes do you? runescape= your anti-drug that just happens to become like a drug. i tried to find a smiley that could adequetley describe how dumb i think the thing you just said is but all i could get is this :twss:

I'm just making a rant on how people assume that, because you have to go through great lengths to get an item, it must have amazing stats. However it is not the case with this. I must've been absent when the "guys wearing skirts" fad started. There's not really a lot of skirts out there that men can wear in rs..... How are you going to look good, brah?

i shoveled out 2m and and all i got was the crappy smithing level. actually more like 3m. from 70-71 (less than 10k till 72) addy axes used to be 3k each back in the good ol' days. now they're 600 each -.- what the hell.... i got back maybe.... 200k-300k of the money spent back from selling addy axes. i am at a deficit untill i can smith addy bolts and maybe get some cash flow going. otherwise- having the ability to get your smithing level up seems like a luxury, not a profitable buissiness. it's easier to get rune ore than it is to get addy ore. it's absolutely ridiculous :evil: rune smithing stopped being profitable like 5 months before the ge was even mentioned. i remember paying 45k for rune legs and rune ore was approx. 12k each. the coal i'm not too sure about... maybe 200 each i suppose. the only reason i see people training smithing is so they can either make their own arrows for convienience or to get 69 smithing for the rocking out quest. one of the most expensive skills to train. right up there with prayer.

seems like too much effort for a measily little 5k. i have friends that i can easily go up to and demand 52k and they'll instantly give me it. not that i'd ever do that because it's mean. and 50k is nothing compared to 20m. the first example with the mossies seems silly, because they could sell all the bones for money. maybe they just are stupid, but i'm still wonderfully confused. unfortunately this is how some people just turn their public chat to off. some of the coolest people have it off. really sucks sometimes.

i'll just go ahead and buy the ever lowering in value whip. it hits faster than mace, has better str bonuses and when i need to train strength there's allways the handy dandy barrelchest anchor. i really don't care what the stupid bonuses are for the dragon mace would be. my anchor would throw you through a wall. oh i'd like to also add that veracs flail gives a 6+ bonus for prayer. if it's also SUCH an issue then wear Proselyte armor. they have more prayer bonuses that your robes and give meele bonuses as well. OH YEAH it's only 100k btw. kthxnwgtfo O:) mace- 5 squares in terms of speed warhammer- 4 squares in terms of speed abbysial whip- 6 squares in terms of speed two handed swords- 3 squares (who needs it when you got a 100 str bonus?) dds has the same speed as the whip-6 (oh yeah and the special is siiiiiiick) you enjoy your warhammer and your mace. i'll be up in the 100's combat area where we've been there done that here's the screenie to prove it.
