i got 53 and i want to wear that spottier cape because the dark brown one aint cuttin it. i trained my hunter from 30 something-50 by using falconry *might have been higher or lower* and used tears of guthix on the rest of it which is my current "method". anyway.... i want to train it fast and i dont care what i do but i found that falconry became a bore to me so it's out of the question. tracking is out of it too. otherwise is there an easy way to train it? where and how is the fastest way there? edit: thanks :D

stinks. i got hacked 5 times i think. i had one account: yankees82 or something like that. i made another account (yanxrul) as like a backup account cause i knew something along the line might go down. it did =P then i got another backup account: demyanx. that was for weird things that could have gotten be bannd. wont tell you what i did. then there was yankees9282 and i gave that to some one because she hacked yanxrul and i had to get the account to like 40 combat and i got mine back..... changed EVERYTHING once i got it back thank god........ by the way demyanx was bannd *go figure* and when i went to the appeal thingy they said you've been bannd no ifs or ands and buts. i did kinda want to get rid of it so i went into draynor and starting saying: ******* report me...... lol kinda worked?

random events. why people were walking around in gold armor. no girl is worth crawling on the earth for -.- . long story. so heres the short version: pretended she had a cousin in jagex. found me on myspace *currently resigned from accepting any one from my friends list excpet family and very close friends* and she turned out to be a gold digger. account shared w/ her and then she changed my pas. had to get her a 10 level higher account so i could get my old one back. took an entire month of nonstop training at deadly red spiders. dont try it out in 2005 not like it and then re-try it after the holloween event came about *think it was the scythe?*i was like ffs when i found that out. -.- oh and no one can trim armor..... and dont go to wildy with all your armor on.

no but i got a circle clue (there is a word for it but dont know what it is *snake biting its tail should help*) i got a gnome place then zamy mage near ardy telly place then another place and i got the same ones in sequential order which was pretty funny :lol:

i got a good friend and he's level 87. i'd kill if i had his account. his skills beat mine in all the ones i hate training. i honestly couldn't care less what level you are. if your level 8 and your coming up to me and calling me a noob or as such im going to be getting a little mad. but if your a decent level *decent as in 50ish* then you know what monsters there are and you obviously dont like to train. i usually respect people i see in rs because i go and do high level requiring tasks (chopping down mages doing hard quests mining in the guild seeing some one with 60 herblore in the flesh crawlers dungeon etc.) usually people with lower levels have an odd sense of humor so it's fun to talk to em : as long as you dont ask me for stuff, we're friends =P

i think of pking in those pking worlds like two countries fighting each others with nukes -.- . lemme explain. i go in the wildy quietly killing green dragons then these two guys go up to me then run away. "uhm.... ok... then..." *they look me up on highscores* they find out i dont have like 50 defence and 99 strength or something crazy like that. one guy telly blokes me and then the other one goes and does his ancienting. what am i doing?... just sitting there like an idiot accepting this brutal "punishment". then after i run out of sharks im thinking to myself what the hell do i do???..... i dont have any ranged armor on me at all and if i did i'd hit like 9's at best while he's doing 30's.... dead. heres another example ooooooooo i got a clue scroll from hellhound! *50 degrees north and 20 degrees east* (lets just say thats in the wildy cause i have no clue where that is) well time to go to wildy! go through the ardy telly place and i see some guy there (level 30 im level 96 so no problem) now time to go in the wilderness and kill this zamy mage... pull the lever and poof level 48 wildy. *looks around sees no one* then little do i know the level 30 just told his friend some one in granite plate and dragon skim is coming. go get him. guy from other side of the lava walls is a mage snares me and then i think oh.. what's that guy guna do? he's got modern spells pffft.. good thing for mage prayer and prayer pots. here comes mr level 100 in fighter torso helm of neizenot rune defender and wip along with rune legs. 4 dds specials later and im in fally minus not only my chart sextant and watch i have no more armor AND clue scroll. so what does that leave me with? they got hurt by maybe if i was lucky an 18 and they hit multiple 30's -.- of course i'm not prepared but come on tell me you've never been royally skrewed by those people. most of us have who's ever gone to wildy. theres people who have 1 defence (10 is probably keeping them from looking like a pure)those people have 99 strength 70 attack 1 defence and then before i can even get to think about a counter attack you're going to be kissing your wip good bye. ok ok i see your venting and when i was f2p i was pretty pissed i gotta pay for a game so that i can get the other 70 (or 80) percent of the game :-X . yes f2p is THAT small. in f2p you can see some one in varrok then go play for about an hour and see that guy couple more times in different places. now what im trying to get at is that castle wars is a good minigame that's fun to play from time to time (or all the time if that floats your boat) but that's not like the signature of members.... what really signatures it is the other skills you can do and the quests you can accomplish.... recipie for disaster is a big quest within the other 30 or so hard ones. as for members not deserving more than f2p..... well.... lets put it this way i saw this example used and im going to put what he said. kudos to the person that actually said it. your in a resturant and the resturant has a special where you can have half of a really good platter that consits of all this great tasting food. now you only get a fraction of that but you can keep eating it for free and your content with eating this small sample. now you see other people really enjoying the full version of the platter so you think to yourself hmmm... i wonder how that tastes... well it certaintly can't hurt to at least try this platter at least once! so you try the platter and you notice how much better it tastes and you even get more sodas and drinks and varrations of what you can eat! so you enjoy it but for 5 dollars you dont think it's all that great. so you go back to eating the small sample of the platter. well your out 5 dollars and your a little mad about it but hey look on the bright side. you tried it out and know you know what the hype is. well as time continues that platter just keeps getting more stuff put on it and more and more variations or possibilities you can put on that platter. that will eventually look better to eat than your measley little smaple wouldnt it? well people who pay the 5 dollars for the platter can also have the sample but then again why bother when you can get the big one. well he justs wants to see what it was like when it was free. so he tries it and he's not full but he is satisfied of what he remembers and other things like that. now that resturant could also refuse to have that free sample give-away but then again it was up to the guy who owned the resturant so he decided he'd get more money just by doing it. the owner COULD just make it so that you HAD to buy the platter but he thought it'd be a good idea to see how a little bit tastes for free. although you dont get all of the bells and whistles of the full platter you can still try it out. that's what jagex is doing. so to sum it all up you CAN go to members but it's not like jagex is forcing it down your throat. free to play will probably never crumble but never say never. dont rip on the people who pay for the game because a lot of them aren't all that bad of people. i remember when i was f2p i got a lot of help from members when i was in the hole. i still get a little bit of help :D

well... coming from what every one said im going to base my response off of what people have said. i do like the responses too. admirable skill capes: construction: (can buy it but remember it costs a lot of money and you either didn't work a lot for it (sold party hat santa etc.) or worked a garbage load to get that money. mining: just amazing... your limited to a rune pickaxe and only recently was there an update (cookie) that gives you a little more ore (does it give more exp too?) and wood cutting is spoiled a tad. you can sit at a tree and potentially get an entire inventory full of *enter tree here* and you have the lumber jack outfit dragon axe and when somebody is at the same tree it's usually no problem. if some one else is at that rune rock your crossing your fingers sweating cursing yourself if you dont get that ore. mining can only get easier if you have a system, which you can usually only make by yourself. slayer: you have to kill a certain monster, the higher the level (challenge) the more exp you get. thats the mom of the family of the capes. you get this cape you can get nearly any other cape. hitpoints/defence/attack/strength: hitpoints is hard to train just truly because you get a fraction of what you get from training mage range attack etc....... the others are kind of self explanatory. usually slayer cape owners have one of these quest: yeah it's not a skill cape i know but it's very simpler. you can get a emotion once you get it so your not going to persuade me. so it's basically a job that is never finished because jagex just wants to keep you know... adding quests.... cause... they can. lol.. farming: listen i cant even get that sucker past 50. if you can get it to 99 then i'll warship the ground you walk on. this of course is based on my opinion and is up to debate whether this should be respected. but you got my vote if you should ever get bad criticism about it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ firecape: if you think that you didn't agree with something i said about the skill capes well... for lack of well patience for these people i have to say it's my opinion and yah gotta deal with it. aaanyway the fire cape is very admirable because what is annoying is, you have a guy training a skill to 99. good for you. now imagine you have to train your skill to be of minimum requirement to wield the barrows armor of your choice. now you have to train 2+ skills to 80+. usually attack and strength but it varies. and usually people spend lots of money to get the equipment/runes/food etc. to beat this stupid monster. and your always on your toes and if you drift for even a second BOOM guy hit a 76 your dead, put protect from meele instead of mage. woops? now when your doing a skill like mining what's the WORST that could happen? rock golem. woopdee doo. the worst thing that could happen-you die and lose whatever you had on *usually showoffy stuff* and a rune pick w/ the ore you had. slayer- that could potentially go wrong but you CAN lose things if you die and when your going for the fire cape if you die well only time loss. construction- nothing can go wrong here. its like being 600 feet under the ground in a padded room with all your basic needs fulfilled. literally. farming-evil chicken? :-s quest- you forgot your rope/plank in the middle of the underground pass. a lot of us can relate ( :? personally) you died from the quest boss, forgot item, or need to train a skill for an unbearable skill in order to get that cape [back]. hard to die from quest boss usually because a lot of us bring telly runes because you can never be too safe. I'm about 12 quests away from cape so i do know how that is. getting to the boss fighting him and having to telleport and go back to him. it's kind of annoying basically the fire cape has some unbearable parts but if you can imagine....... you get the jad to double digit health and then you or your computer sneezed. jad cant not win in those situations.... the bad parts can be as bad as quest cape. and aggravation is a terrible thing. it's so much work for a small reward and a little respect in a you have to have *insert item/skill here* in order to have some or a little respect in here -.- so in my opinion *by the way it's opinion* i think fire cape wins on occasions. but not always. i think it's the effort not the risk. thank you for reading my massive thought out post. :)

is this like the great depression? the only way that can happen for coal to be 12k each is if they made it only possible to get it in the wilderness. part of why its worth 300-200 each (whatever the price is) is because not only is there a set worth (what the shops buy for or alch amount) there is also a labor in getting the coal. the reason why certain things go down in price is because there is a small demand but a massive supply. the god sword is a very good (best) sword and the amount of labor in getting one of these swords is tremendous. now the god sword has it's set price and the price of the sword will NEVER go down that price for obvious reasons. now say that jagex would umm... make all the coal dissapear and put it in level 30 wilderness. its a steep hypothetical thought but you know anythings possible *like coal being 12k each* so you have to run from edgeville (or use ancients to get to wherever the hell it takes you) theres now a set cost for runes if you use ancients theres a preset cost of the runes and theres labor. looots of labor for one little inventory of coal. then theres bound to be pkers pking you and taking all of your beautiful coal.. now theres also the *smart* people who saved their coal from the *early* runescape days when coal wasn't that hard to get. that'll skyrocket the price. so there isn't a way to make it so that coal is 12k per piece. macroes could also be in demand and jagex would have a hefty problem on there hands. this would be the end of runescape if coal were to be 12k per piece. *sighs* high alchemy sets the ground price of everything. thats partly why that is there. it stabilizes the economy. why sell a rune shield for 20k when you can alch it for 30k? theres why the coal will never rise to such a steep interval. go me : i only assessed one issue not all of them so please be discrete about your reply to my post.
