you also don't HAVE to watch tv but when we do we get mad when we see something on it that we don't agree with. same with the internet. and guess what's on the internet. runescape. ok so back on topic- no it's not a democracy because it's a game. but jagex also knows that it's a capitalistic type of game so based on supply and demand (the demand being the content we get from the game) we should at least get a say on things that we like and don't like. it wouldn't be smart to have a buissnes where if something is wrong with your product then oh well too bad, deal with it. so i kinda wanna say- hey. i contribute to this game. i've helped people continue playing this game. i also have membership and i don't go around the rules. i am still able to talk on game too so i'm not saying this out of bitter words. i also have a friend that just got muted. it's almost like having a friend that quit. they're pretty much not there. "oh but there's quick chat and emotes" well guess what- you can't say what do you think of this update or how about you wanna do somethin? i'm bored. something simple like that. you also can't say i hate/like/love this update because of -----. so i kind of think it's dumb that you can't express yourself thoroughly in a game. imagine being muted on the tip.it forums. (being banned would mean you can't go on forums at all and see threads) off topic--- i thought this thread died but now since we're back in time it's kind of good that this topic came back :D

we're not overreacting. we're having a simple discussion about how jagex expresses their views. and some of us (including myself) think that it wasn't conveyed correctly. i'm not going to go into WHY because i allready went into it. basically we are just talking about how to observe to their views on global warming. global warming's a pretty controversial topic and yes you may say it's only a game but we're not caring about the game. I'm bringing up that jagex has the influence of thousands. i maybe have the influence of tens of people. that's it. that's all. no over reactions. ;) (i think this was discussed before)

oh yes but your forgetting that with a drivers license you can get points on it. and you can take a defensive driving course to get rid of those. you can't get rid of your black marks in rs. well not as far as i know.

THE REAL REASON TO THE POST Shocked - the new quest is kind of a controversial one to me. if you haven't done it or you breezed through it and didn't know what the hell was going on let me tell you the short and sweet version. theres a guy that has a machine that can make pick axes but it uses a fuel that pollutes the world. this fuel happens to be coal that is force fed into baby dragons that in turn make a flame at an extraordinary rate. he doesn't want to change anything. after continuous use of this world polluting fuel it starts to have an impact on other places. ice mountain is the first to show it by the rose bushes at the monastery die because they are used to cold weather but because of the warming they're dieing off. an avalanche and it destroys the oracles house. then ice fiends start to die off. the oracle also says after you fix her tent that got destroyed in the avalanche that theres going to be deserts from varrok to lumby. entrana is apparently going to go under the water and such. and finally- temperature change is felt in other places such as the gnome stronghold/village (not clear which one) ok so after the whole problems are temporarily dealt with, you go to a guy that had an idea for a replacement energy that requires no fuel. it's a windmill. omg right? so you help him get his idea to a guy and he helps get the company use the windmill instead of the polluting fuels. the guy eventually tells you why there were global temperature risings. and then luke finds out darth vader is his father ok great. now lets make the similarities between real life and runescape. it'll be easy i promise. icefiends=polar bears drowning in the poles. eventually might become extinct gnome village= the poles at the bottom south of the real world (earth) replacement fuel=wind energy that is used today (wind farms) polluting energy= fossil fuels such as coal, and charcoal. whatever else there is like oil. oracle predictions= scientist predictions that could happen from continuous use of these fuels. things like desertification, hurricanes, global temperatures rising, coastal cities going below sea level, lots of people dieing. great. the pick axe company= big market companys that don't want to make the switch from oil/coal to this newish energy that's less costly and require less fuel and such. you= the person that can "make a difference" in the world by spreading the word and such. now i'd like your opinion on what you think on the whole- if you want a questcape or be able to make a pickaxe in runescape then hear our views on the topic of global warming thing. i think that jagex is getting the right message out but... i don't know i still am edgy about global warming. ALSO- please do not tell us about all the other bad stuff that comes with global warming. unless what you say pertains to what i asked just.. don't say anything about what could/would/will happen because i'm like about to vomit from all of the media force feading you all of this. Sick if there's anything in weird codes or obviously looking weird it's because it's under construction.

yeah if your orgnaising your inventory really fast and you replace an item with something you'll get a temporary duplicate. you cant use it though and it last for like half a second... happends to every one. yes it is lag.

you know how runescape will always be about 4 things in meaningfull order: 1.money 2.updates. 3.players. 4.quality now you see the last ones? thats the reason why most people quit. but you put what tip.it has and will always be doing about the site: 1. being a community/guides 2. making friends/being social 3. talk about the game of rs 4. talk about anything even after you quit rs would you still go on here when your bored or such? now you can't say tip.it is greedy i mean come on... its like saying the salvation army is just money owning snobs. :-s have you ever said to yourself: tip.it would be so much better if they didn't have: ______ . its probably something small like a guide but you can avoid it and forget it. its the community and runescape is starting to lose it's own community. hope i dont get flame wars on this :pray:

i see im not the only one who saw the effect of the ge. i also see that im not the only one expecting either a price jump or fall. i told every one on my friends list to just stay put and sell all their bulk items and expensive ones. the most expensive item in my bank is my crystal sheild and before that is my obby sheild then dragon skimy. these are things that i cant really part with so they stick with me. people usually like to show off their "wealth" with expensive weapons armor capes boots etc. but what the dont realise is how unstable the market is. it could just go under in a blink of an eye and before you know it the trade with yanxrul option is to be a thing of the past. i read the guys trusthscape article and what REALL stuck out to me was the part where he said isnt this an mmorpg? what's going to happen to the multiplayer part? that was like the gunshot in a really quiet room :!: . i thought to myself.... what has jagex done?..... they got rid of the rsof basically....i mean thats a chunk of what made runescape runescape. i mean come on how often do (did) you go on there to see if some one made a new forums game. probably not often. how about the market place? that how you got the 1000 post count? i bet it is :wink: . all in all i mostly agree with what yah said and kudos to you :o

wow. lazy merchant. although im going to flamed about saying that i couldn't care less because i unlike you look at the grand exchange as a money making monopoly. you just don't know how to use it. and therefore you are lazy for not finding out where to sell and what to sell. it took me one trip to the grand exchange to find out i could make 4m in a week if i went hardcore on it. which will probably be the case around winter brake. if you looked in the right crevices you would find people too lazy to go to the ge and the macroes although they're the problem they help you if you think really hard. this isn't making sence to the any one i'm sure of it but again-i dont care. think up of ANY item and you can find that if you find the right place to sell you'll find you money making business. hope this will end your babble about your pointless rant about the grand exchange.

you could probably do this on the forums too but not nearly as fast. buy green dragon hides and tan them in canifs (faster than al khrid). then make into green bodys. alch. you make apprx. 500 gp in profit per body i think. i don't remember the exact prices but thats what i believe it to be. as for merchanting.... i know a few ways but, if i tell you then it'll ruin me. its a :shock: money maker. hint----its a food.

why not? couldn't hurt members. only make it a little twitch in the way they see f2p getting an update. also the cape is kinda really powerfull so if you got a little puny cape giving you like 3+ bonuses and you got another cape giving you 11 bonuses, is that fair? i support them having the cape but the combat bonuses that come with it i don't because the wildy will change a little bit.

d skimy looks cooler. you get more regicnition when you have a dragon skimy because it's harder to do mm than it is heroes. dragon long is usually found on 60's- early 80's and new members. what makes combat go round and round? str str str str str str str atk. and the little curve just looks so much more sick than an awkward stick pointing up in the air. and the special just looks cooler. d long looks=6 d skim looks= 8.5 mostly looks. i had a longsword while i was able to use the skimy and i just got really comfortable with the looks of it and how you look when you lash upon the enemy. should i go on? O:)

well you're forgetting that all around people like to do everything. so when they do combat they're putting a lot of time into it and when a skiller comes along with 1 attk str mage prayer ranged and 10 hp people think that they're concentrating on a few skills meanwhile one of the hardest skills out there they aren't training. it makes almost no sense when people say: i just trained my cooking and my fishing to 99. then another person says well that's nice but i have all of my skills 60+ if i concentrated on those I'd be 99 too.. so they're just basing what they see based on the number of their combat level..... so they can't catch a shark but can kill a kq? as far as i'm concerned the kq is much harder to tackle than a shark/rune ore/magic tree/or burning those magic logs.....

[wagon] is debatabley not a swear word. on television they do not block that word when it is said no matter what station you're on. they WILL block it when you add a hole next to the word because then it is a derogatory word. also-- why do you think tip it doesn't block it?
