sollution- get firefox. get the irish theme <3. get to your rs world of choice. go to tools, and go to "clear private data". hit "browsing history" in the checkbox and make sure everything else isn't checked off because you might lose passwords or whatever. stop your [bleep]ing ing continue going on f2p FOG worlds and owning all that exist because that's all f2p has to offer for me. problem solved.

yeah i used to hate that but it could be worse. yes worse. steel drags. those are the worse. have you tried getting one???? A. it's always crowded B. there's like 4 dragons in the entire stupid dungeon and 500 irons C. they're higher leveled making it overall harder. i've gotten more steel tasks than iron consider yourself lucky my recent tasks have been diverse. i've got: fire giants, iron drags, black demons, warped totises<3, *just got banshees :wall: * daggonoths (my god there was this guy there level 136 with a cannon.... didn't leave for some reason :wall:), cave horrors (black mask drop from them. allready have no charges), and i think i got something else but i can't think of it now. whatever. i got dlegs drop from the iron task too. i guess i've been pretty fortunate. got about 5 clues in that entire frame. 2 were from tasks. took about 2-3 weeks which is an unheard of record for me. 2 slayer levels btw

I'M GUNNA GO---- seriously. it's another fish you can fish for at level one. have you ever noticed the massive amounts of fish you can catch as it is?! seriously check out the fishing guide on here! i've never caught sardines, herrings, mackerals, cod, pike, rainbow fish, or bass while i was getting my fishing level up. i went from shrimps, anchovies, trout, salmon, tuna, lobs, swords, lobs, monks. in that order. yes i remember the order. shut up. look you can make balls of wool, make leather gloves, beer glass, a pot, and/or cut opals at level 1 crafting. i don't see you complaining! there's not even a crafting tutorial and it's one of the most wildly used skills in rs. in my opinion more useful than fletching, and maybe at par with rc (not in profits. in importance in ways you get around every time you log on) and we all know how important our runes are to us. if i didn't have my runes i'd like die. same thing if i didn't have my wealth, glory(s) *just hit 38 of them wooo*, fury, or how about that dragon hide?? die i tell you. die. so seriously this is completly dumb, what you guys are talking about. so there's another level 1 thing to fish. so what? did you just suddenly lose a level or two? are you dissapointed that people aren't going to have the same rs experience as you did? do you really think there will ever be the same rs experience EVER AGAIN? *ahem* ge, wildy, rs in hd *ahem* dumb. -.-

BUT WHAT ABOUT F2P RUNECRAFTERS!!!!! They will start losing gobs of money. F2P RC took a hit with unlimited runes in shop and the GE release. As far as rc'ing being profitable in f2p, please explain rune ess is 38 each so I wouldn't see even with multipliers how rc'ing could be a decent moneymaker in f2p.[/hide] thank you : . yeah i just checked and air runes are profitable after level 33 rc. minds at 42, earth 52, bodys....at....92. oh yeah and fire runes are never profitable which is kinda understandable because firegiants, flesh crawlers, lessers, greaters, dragons (need i go on?) drop MASSIVE amounts of fire runes. i have about 38k fire runes in my bank right now and i didn't buy a single one of them. and to sorta kinda support fat klutz's theory about the pure ess market prices stablizing itself... it might have at certain points. look at the 30 day graph for the pure essence thing on the rs ge market guide and it is a roller coaster. BUT that doesn't say that it's because of what you said... i'm still giving you a little bit of credit by saying it sorts itself out. it's not a long term solution. some useful tidbit of information- pure essence has been falling in price over the last week steadily. rune essence has stayed at 38 since.... ever? :lol:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ make all rune ess pure ess or whatever they change it back too. that's what they did at first. i had about 1k rune ess and in turned into pure ess after the update. every one's did. so make all essence in rs turn into the pure ess after eliminating rune essence so there's no discontinued items like rune ess. i really don't know how to spell it out better than that.... ~ps~ sorry for going off topic and kinda spamming the thread.~

yup and make a new discontinued item called rune essence Not a good idea to make it discontinued, but maybe make it so like 10% of the essence you mine is impure. no it would be the same exact thing that happened when they made it rune essence and pure essence. found out that the update was in april of 06.... sheeeeeesh. i remember when that happened. i was like mehh. no big deal hardly affects me at all. i hate rcing anyway. now i'm on a forums discussing it.

heh. you know what's a privilege? driving. imagine if your parents/guardian couldn't drive to work. it's almost like taking their job away. my dad's job is about 50-60 miles away and if he lost his liscence he'd be forced to quite. but it's a privilege. the government has the right to take your driving rights away from you. *i think in texas though you can drive to and from work but not in ny* electricity is a privilege i guess too because if you don't pay the bill you don't get it. you certainly don't need it to live. just talk to the Hamish. (i'd like for some one to take offense to that :lol: ) so if you also don't have to talk at all in this game, you then don't need money in this game. you might argue that money makes rs go round but if talking were to be completely eliminated from runescape do you really think people would stick around for much longer? i sure wouldn't.

what your saying is- hopefully some one will say this isn't profitable enough and then go mine a whole bunch of pure ess. and then he'll tell 3 people and those 3 people will tell 3 people and then...... look. that can happen with anything. from the price of coal to the price of a bar of rune. that hasn't happened yet and as far as i'm concerned this pure essence "situation" has been going on for quite a while. remember that tip.it times article about this? trust me when i say that your "solution" won't work and will not have a prayer. when there's people who will solve the problem there's people who contribute. if the price of essence starts to go down then i will just start buying instead of mining it. every one will do that. it's going to rollercoaster for a very long time untill something is done to fix these prices. i'm wondering whether or not the price of pure ess will catch up to nats or not. :-k

hmmm.... i've been runecrafting laws since they were 300 each... and that was i think april? yeah about april. nats have been low in price for a very long time. i'm just kind of in a mood to say i told you so but i just... didn't tell any one :XD: yeah..... why didn't you guys go do reasearch??? when i saw bloods come out i was like ooooo i remember when they were 700 each!!! i wonder how much they are now. less than like 200. so i was law craftin for quite a while. yep. :anxious:

so alex lets say hypothetically for some strange event that jagex lost control of everything and by some huge gust of wind the only monsters that could drop dragon skimmys were chaos elementals. the monkey shop in ape atoll wouldn't sell them anymore and no one would own one anymore. lets erase the facts that, yes, there are weapons better than the dskim but HEY granite plate is way better than dchain and it's got about a few millions difference. ok now. what would happen? this once whatever sword is now quite possibly the rarest item in rs for a few days. every one has had one if they've beaten monkey madness, it's only about 95k which is not that much money. but after the riot in fally would you still want that even though theres many other swords that are better, more economical, and easier to get? i doubt it. unless you had maybe nothing better to do in terms of the game and said wth it's only going to lose maybe 10m in worth in 2 weeks. what i'd do is just go to heroes guild or the ge and buy myself a dlong. i wouldn't care in the least the "mmo element"--- either i read it wrong or you didn't say anything at all that tried to oppose or agree to my argument. i guess your trying to say that because we have friends and such in this game that we want to look "good" with them?..... i have no clue.

i'm going to go and skip the entire forum of responces which is something that i never do. this might be litted with spelling msitakes. i'm not even looking at the screen right now. imagine how the pre-teens must feel. you can't have a cell phone, bank account, see a movie, have an e-mail adress, have an AIM account, have a free sample at the department store without parental supervision, PLAY A GAME ON THE INTERNET, and also they have to worry about that weird puberty thing coming through that seems kind of weird to them. i remember the pre-teens. i remember just wanting to walk around sams club (a step up from walmart and a similarity to costco) and my dad would say ok where are you going to be? when are you coming back? do you know my cell phone number? ok we meet over there if you get lost (how the [bleep] do you get lost in a department store???) heres 5 dollars if you get hungry. no wait 10 dollars. no here 20 dollars. ok there. your going to be allright? ok good. good. remember MEET OVER THERE IF YOU GET LOST. my god. just for a 6 minute walk by myself so i wouldn't have to worry about my mom asking "do we/you want/need this?" "you mean you don't like/want this anymore?!!?" i feel like i have to log into rs, imagine i can't wear my quest cape or hood, get my knife and a few logs, go to this troacctid as if he's an npc, and then do whatever he says until he finally realizes that i'm NOT doing a quest and that i just got it in my head that after reading his hilarious dialog that i HAD to do one because he sounds so much like a random pirate from the rocking out quest. anyways. yes role playing is "i guess" important. i find it strange you found it ok to have a crab claw on one hand and a hook on the other. just a tad bit strange. i also found it a tad odd you can manage to weild an axe to cut wood even though you have both erm... arms "occupied". i'm not funny so don't criticize. you can make it a role playing arguement all the time with this because really-- who would go around wearing dragon platelegs with black cav hat with a blue mystic top along with purple flowers. it just doesn't flow or make sence. everything (usually) i see people wearing makes sence. people wearing full dragon makes sence, full bandos,3rd age, or blue h'ween mask with blessed dragon hide. what you wear makes sense. i can see your trying *are* to be a pirate. it's like acting like you didn't hear thunder. you heard it and it rattled everything around you. since i don't want to be flamed i have to say not all. so most people are arrogant with things like the way they look. i have friends multiple thousands of dollars in debt and i see where most of it went. purses they haven't worn in a year, clothes etc. BUT IT MAKES THEM LOOK GOOD. LIKE O M GEH. people like that i see day to day and then when i go on rs to "escape" that it smacks me in the face with these people wearing full dragon, *your color here* party hat etc. you know the list. for the record- i'm not poor but my parents aren't made of money so no i don't get whatever i want whenever. what i do get i don't ask for. my most expensive shirt is about.... 20 dollars? it's a yankees shirt. i'm not counting my authentic yankees shirt my mom bought. long story. i don't wear it. so very long story please don't force me to tell it lol.....

yeah you can usually find me in spottier cape, boots of lightness, and penace gloves. i might be wearing my quest cape hood. 90% of the time i'm wearing that so i don't have to worry about run energy because i'm ridiculously impatient in this game. but if i jumped into the unlimited run spring then i'm probably wearing my quest cpe and the heaviest thing that offers the best protection because i'm probably doing a quest, clue or some high level monster killing. so i wouldn't get annoyed with seeing myself look stupid over and over again i have a white and black theme going on with my character when i'm not wearing anything (naked? :-k ). i'd give you a pic but that's not the point. it cost me about eh.... 3k? 5k maybe? point is, that it took me 5k to make my character look good. one look at my bank and i know i'm pretty well off in rs.

you guys are taking this the wrong way! i myself find some way to dress my character up to show off my quest cape. i wear desert robes, sara prayer book, glory amy, crystal sheild, white flowers, quest cape and hood. i used to have my lazy cat out when they were WHITE but since they're GREY now it kind of ruins it. i'm just saying that when you shovel out loads of money just to show you "have" loads of money.... well then that's stupid. i mean i did about 2-3 months ago have a green h'ween mask and that lasted i think a week. i made 500k in the deal though ^^. rares i can make an exception with because those are a remberance of the pastime of rs, look kinda silly, and usually these things are all sorts of expensive and give no def/atk/special purpose. so yes i can forgive people when they say but wait i have a rare. it's when people buy dragon legs instead of rune legs because it makes me look "less poor". IT'S 800K FFS! NOT THAT MUCH MONEY. that's all :mrgreen:

i can't find a smiley that fits the mood. oh well highland- what the hell? waaaaaaaaaht?? sounds to me your being a little in your face. in zelda the wind waker when you beat the game you get to play as link in his pajamas. there's no online play for that game and who's going to know if you successfully beat the game unless you tell them? it's like having a disc of returning. you can certainty make a better example other than your tetris one... that's all i'm saying. and be nice. halt- you said what i expected some people to say. dragonfire sheild is probably the bestest things in the game right now that i can't afford lol.... i always find myself killing dragons and needing an extra boost and for me the money is worth it. but what strikes me is when i'm in flesh crawlers and the things are level 28 hit a max of maybe 10 once every 40 0's and this guy (level 90) is in full dharoks obviously just there to show off. these things have a health of 28 for Christs sake! yourgone- well your clubbing and probably trying to pick some one up. lol, although *i admit* these stupid clothes people wear with the holes in the jeans and such society looks at that and thinks you've got money or your preppy. something like that. so it's going towards a use. some people might argue well that's why i always wear it, but i'd like to ask them- why is it that you complain you can't have that brand new hdtv when you have about 20 items of clothing "worth" about 300 dollars when really i can get better looking clothes without the tears and sewn on "abercrombie" for about a fraction of that price. probably amounting to about... i don't know 100 dollars? my shirts cost about 3 dollars. they have no flashy designs on them. my flashy designs usually contain a "new york yankees" logo but that's understandable. i like showing pride in my baseball team and i don't mind throwing a little more money out there to show support for a my team. *let the flaming begin*

i've come to the realization that people like to "look good" in this game. when some one doesn't know that they've made a lot of money or killed a really hard to kill monster then it's not worth knowing that YOU have done it. so here is my discussion for this thread- is it really necessary for some one too see you with the most expensive sword/armor/hat in the game? now before i go off and say it's not worth it to look good let me just say this. i am against wearing name brand clothing. i think it's dumb and i don't want to look like my clothes just came out of a paper shreder when really i just spent 20 dollars on a shirt that looks like it came from the salvation army. ok. some more disclaimers- skill capes. i have one (had untill rocking out came out) and i'm quite proud of it. it took a lot of hard work and, yes i do feel bad when i'm not wearing it so people don't know the HARD WORK that went into getting it. for the record it's a quest cape. the last part- i have been -at one point- "concious" of what people thought of me in this stupid game. yes i call it a stupid game because people DO take it too seriously which is stupid *frankly this is stupid too i'll admit*. i had the draglon platelegs at one time. i had the dragon medium helmet. i also had full dharoks which at the time was worth 3.6m and i could JUST afford it. i had about 5m at the time so it was kind of cutting deep into the purse. i sold that about 3 weeks after getting it though. my friend who introduced me to the game also was one of those people and right around when a full set of rune was 250k and we got the cash for it we were pretty giddy. showing off in our rune sets in f2p. we were "cool". untill it became boring. i decided at one point i wanted to have guthans. a full set which is like omg for me because the thought of not needing food was like not needing oxygen to live. almost impossible. but i didn't want it so i could "show off". no i just wanted because of the effect. well i did show off a little bit once i got it because i was all sorts of happy (took 6 months of wishing and 2 weeks of acting). anywho heres the question. why must you wear the tassets, the 3rd age armor, the trimmed armor, and *shiver* the dragon armor? if there isn't a story meaning or anything else behind it and your just doing it to look "good" in a computer game then why the hell are you doing it????? i'm so [bleep]ing confused! why why why why why why why!? i have 14m to my name and the best armor i have in my bank is ahrims and fighter torso. *i sold the guthans*. do you see me complaining how i look? i have more money than some of these people that are showing off! i'm just really confused why people do this. if there's no reason other to look good *i can excuse the- i have so much money i don't even care one because i've done that* then i really cannot stand that. discuss. and now... to put on this suite......THERE. flame proof :D .
