i usually tend to start fights and then just leave my arms at my sides untill one guy just beats me silly. sounds about the same as your example. want another i got another.... dude like this one time this car was in the wrong lane and all. and so i was like YO [bleep] you i'm goin to own this nub with my toyota camery!!!!! so i put it into D and i just stepped onto that mofo and BAM! that's how it's done man. so yeah st. paul that's pretty much what happened. just gimme a minute i'm going to totally own this 99 def wall. gunna run into it a couple times until i start to win.

mmm........ yellow was the destroyer team the first week or so the minigame was released. i admit i went on that team and got a RIDICULOUS amount of tokens. it must've amount up to 20k. i do love the green team now because it's different. and usually the teams are one team oriented. but most people have yellow robes i guess because they realized earlier that yellow was the way to go. but some one with robes on can EASILY take over the course of a game. i've demolished multiple other teams that had 2 players more than mine and won by ridiculous points. i think that the robes is a good way to even out things. it's like having a team of 2 level 50's with a lvl 110 against a team of 5 level 50's as a comparison for you. i consider it that useful. i think that because the yellow orbs are bigger than green ones that it makes people want to join yellow instead of green. your eyes naturally (don't quote me on this) more naturally get attracted to yellow than green. plus, there's more green around in these alters than yellow so you figure, again your eyes will find yellow easier than green. if you know how to use every ones weakness as well like when they start to try to take your orb when you got it near the alter then you can make the team work like a well oiled machine. useless stuff about early rc guild stuff vvvvv (bought some unnessecary stuff. like robe parts that i allready had *accident* and bought a yellow team hat just for the cabbage of it.) i have 5.6k tokens in my bank now and, gosh, at least like 3k pure essence(none saved from the game itself). had bought some telly tabs for the guild and the law alter. law alter was a mistake. had also bought some talismans that i couldn't buy off of ge. (got omni-talisman ftw)

died a few times from doing the "extra one". in my case it was abberrant specters. long story short, had 9 pray points left, thought i could do another w/ 60 health and then poof. died twice in my attempt to get to my grave. lesson learned. ALTHOUGH if it's a monster such as fire giants then, yeah i'll kill another. ahh what the heck you know? i've also done it for steel and iron drag tasks accidentally (the chat box is always getting filled with "your shield protects you from some of the dragon breath! your potion protects you from most of the dragon breath! you dig a hole in the ground... and bury the bones" so the little message that says oh your done doesn't show up. no room for a slayer gem so i run myself completely dry sometimes)

i love it when you didn't even get into the game. i was waiting for my friend to get over to the minigame so we could play together and as i was waiting i said ahh. what the hell i'll play a game before he comes. to my foolishness he got there a little faster so i ended my being on the team a few seconds (or while i forget) the portal opened. i had to make my friend wait 7 minutes while i just kinda watched my cable box time to go from 1:58 to 2:05. had a starbuck frapacino while i waited. it was good. mmm........ :roll: i'm...not a...d..... DOGGY!!

in a 10 minute game i can get about 600-800 tokens. 1 token per pure ess. 800 PURE ESS IN 10 MINUTES FTW?!!??!?! i personally looooooooooove the minigame. reminds me how i felt when vinesweeper and fog came out. it was 6:25 am eastern standerd time when they did the update :ugeek: (lol the simely says ugeek) i was online at that time -> :geek: <- i haven't played it in like 10 hours and i'm gettin giddy. i love the telly tabs they give you =D they will be most usefull. place needs a bank deposit box though... that's the only issue i have with it. EDIT: you can buy in 50's but you can just get a lot of ess in increments of 50. | V is wrong.

torags was 2.1m (full set i think. maybe without hams i could be wrong) before the grand exchange. i know it perfectly because a dear friend of mine quit right around that time. dharoks was 3.6m which I CRYSTAL CLEAR remember because that's when i was starting to get a lil rich and was buying myself toys. guthans was in the 7.4m to 9m area.... it used to jump up and then with jumping... is you go up and then you eventually go down. i looooooooove guthans. as much as i love it i can afford the 1930's reigning on my armor so it's not getting bought untill i know i can laugh at the price. i only have 58 summoning but i bet i have enough for 68. once i get it though i'll prolly run out of charms so........ anywho. you guys remember the whip being 2.6m a few years ago? man i hated that. whip is getting down there in price as well. i remember seeing the price for it being about 1.6mish and i just jumped at that... that thing is steadily going down as well. AS FOR some one saying the price of party hats going down.... never gunna happen. i don't know why, don't care, don't expect, don't worry, don't think about it. interesting things to look up at the database for 30 day avg.: santa hat all h'ween masks and ss.

i'd like to add some more input into this debate (formally discussion). uhmm... yeah how often have you logged on and seen some one with 100m that didn't do it by getting a 99 in a skill with "no life" or responsibilities etc. i think that if you have hmmmmm like 100 dollars on you and you know you have literally nothing to spend it on (trust me being a teen i know. i got about 1k in the account and i've allready got everything i'd possibly want) then why not your favorite game that your allready paying membership for? what is the difference of buying more content to a game that's free for a monthly fee than having you know a costly 50m in your bank? not much. here's why. my friend, i've seen his account and i know how "badly" he has to "cut corners" when it comes to playing rs. he has only 2 glorys 200k dboots and not even a whip. can't afford it. he has 47 laws and he can't rc them. so he has to limit how fast he does things. so if he has a clue scroll he has to telly all over the place he can actually get into a defisit into how much he makes off of the scroll. he can't afford buying energy potions, prayer potions, above grade armor, or anything for his house. barrows armor is a thing that is an unreachable feat as of now. now he can either spend countless, monotonous, tedious, dumb non exp giving money activities i guess the "honorable way" or he can just get on to a website throw out like 15 bucks and boom 2m. no less than mmm... maybe 10 minutes comprable to a few hours if he has the right method. smarter not harder.. if you have a poll that asks which is harder for you: leveling up, doing quests, or making money, which do you think people will vote the most on? i've got a quest cape before the ge came out. getting the stupid items for all these quests.... it's not easy but i'd rather do a quest than make money. my friend that i mentioned before is on the same boat. he's about 30 quest points away from the cape so it kind of says a lot. so before you go on and say this is bad we should get rid of it look at how far we've gone so far etc.. then maybe the whole "wilderness coming back" is actually a possibility with the embrace of real world trading. things will be dramatically different yes but things were different in january too so things can happen. final words- my friend wants to play to enjoy not play to win. of course there will be some people that say I'VE MADE A 40M IN 3 WEEKS IT'S NOT THAT HARD but ok but he hasn't and neither have i. not every one has been around in the same situations, knows the same people and has the same hobbies as far as this game goes. this game isn't a race it's A GAME. people shouldn't play this game for the sheer point of winning.... for one it's always being updated so your not GOING to win. some one will always have the upper hand in some way whether it be songs in the game or friends in the game or even the high score in first of guthix. there's flaws in my statements as far as how things will be managed IF rwt would come back. jagex's problem not mine. i don't know if they'll allow the purchase of items or money but i think money would be in the better interest of jagex. i find this game for enjoyment and if i find that having unlimited money in this game with 99's all around is my definition of enjoyment then so be it. people have found enjoyment in buying clothes for themselves so why not buying pixels?

yeah bank update was fairly important. surprise surprise i see no grand exchange in this thread. i do remember the wilderness still being pk active while the ge was present. i would have put it but i'm having a difficult time adjusting to the roller coaster prices of the guthans set. lost about 300k -.-

you all have that favorite minigame, quest, or location that takes up a lot of your time for the sheer enjoyment of it. what update would you wish was there when you playing 1 year, 2 maybe 3 years ago? perhaps when you were a fresh p2p? mine would probably have to be the fist of guthix minigame. i'd probably stay f2p for about 3 more months if that game came out before i turned into a member.

yeah but when you live in a place where every one has at least 1 acre of land, the nearest "store" is over 1 mile and a half away (a&p), there's no one in your immediate residence that you can hang out with/talk too, your parents are divorced therefore eliminating the possibility of a possible plan to go somewhere or have a job *ahem life ahem*, no responsibilities other than household chores that take less than 1 hour of your time, and your xbox360 is broken while your wii has only wii sports on it then i can safely assume that the long hours of runescape can be seen as unhealthy yes but also pretty much the only thing you can do. :geek: halo is dumb by the way. only the first two are good the 3rd BLOWS.

fishing is in the same boat *no pun intended* with wood cutting. i agree. smithing is pretty bad due too mining as well. i have no idea how jagex will fix it but i do know that by the time (yes it will come we all know the inevitability) jagex brings in the dragon pickaxe miners will rejoice. hunter is kinda like it if you would like to think about it in terms of box traps and such but... not so much. make a support list because this rant is valid. any one who gets 99 mining deserves a cape. yes a cape. maybe an emotion too.

why isn't...it...locked.... gotta leave it to these people to fall off the wagon, watch it ride off into the sunset, and get lost near a supermarket. shrimps are boring. chicken is boring. cooked meat is boring. anchovies are boring. come on we've all heard of those. but CRAYFISH!? :ohnoes: i've never heard of them to be perfectly honest. and I've never fished them. i never really cared i didn't see any one go ape [cabbage] when they found out there was a new slayer master for lvl 35 slayer. so what i'm finding out more often than not is that-- if there's an update that only benefits low level players- it doesn't benefit any one at all. when you start out you want the game to be easy and simple jagex just saw a way to do it via crayfish. i tell you this game is a lot harder when your level 3 fresh starting out than when your level 110 with stats like these: i tell you what. it's much harder to walk to varrok than it is to telleport there. it's also much harder to RUN there without the boots of lightness, penace gloves, and spottier cape. it's much harder to chop down a tree and get the most logs from it than it is to have a bronze axe chopping down a tree that only yields one log per- tree. it's much harder to stay alive with your hp level only being 10 and the best readily available food is only healing 3. again- jagex just made starting runescape a little easier now instead of "omfg [bleep] this game"

the only time i'd really see myself using it is if i forgot my dba, dds or something like that. i've been itching for it for quite a while. but recently my bestest friend quit and he always had the dba on him so i wanted to borrow it a few times but couldn't. had to use stupid whip specials that hit junk. oh yeah a few more things what do you expect when you walk with a thing on your head worth more than 10m? 60m? 100m? or perhaps your weapon that has the potential to hit 40's with ease that happeneds to also be worth more than a lot of rares? what's the main reason you still wear that stupid thing anyway?

lol your probably a fat man that got fired from his job and only has enough money to pay for this game. yep that's what the say nowadays... kinda harsh if you come to think about it. i don't lol... wel you have 80 slayer and some other amazing stats. if you weren't rich i'd think that you weren't very good with money or you got reaalllly really. reeeeeeallly unlucky. i think i'm rather wealthy though. i can afford pretty much anything i ever wanted. me ever affording a santa was a hopeless dream for me (they were 30m at the time O_O). now i can get that and still have some money to splurge. i have in my bank about 20m worth of things. 17m if i sold my guthans.

see... when i was a wee lil lad.... maybe around 3 years or so ago... i had an axe equipped, and a tinderbox w/ me. i went to that fishing spot near the ice giants and warriors dungeon that's affiliated with the knights sword. i secluded myself for a few days from peeps and i just hardcore fished and cooked. fishing went up higher than cooking at the time because anchovies gave same exp for cooking as shrimp did.... so that took a while. cooked and fished i could cook and fish trout (i realllllllllllly needed food at that point btw). then i worked my way up to tuna.lobs.swords. cooked. got hacked. got unhacked. fished a little more....... got members and then about a year and a half later i got level 81 cooking and 69 fishing! just like that! :mrgreen: your method was usefull at the time and i kinda wish i did it but... i didn't and i think mine is a little better but... whatever. i've said this before---- things change. you think that people will get the same rs experience you had? few words for the wise- grand exchange. wildy. bounty hunter. trade update. rs hd. f2p updates before unheard of. got it?

:evil: :evil: i hate that! my god! i play on super low detail (the most i'll have is character shadows or something like that). i'm still not used to that bridge in ardy not being there! oh wait that's not an update it's a glitch. yes the bridge in east ardy near the castle is GONE. you can still walk on "it" though. that rug in edgville is annoying as all hell. i hate those stupid lights in ardy as well. there's plenty more i'm forgetting. i miss super low detail... it made rcing so much fun... :| i feel for you brah!

yeah... i was running from a revvy one time when that happend. good thing i was a good distance away though... my armor consisted of spottier cape, boots of lightness, an penace gloves. no prayer. skulled because i was in abby before. oh yeah and i had 500k on me before because i didn't realize that the withdraw x option in the bank interface remembered whatever your last option was. so i hit that option because i was buying stuff that cost like 600gp. yeah but i got the 600k gravestone and i was near the ardy lever when i die. dieing hasn't been such a bad thing for me anymore. just a bit of an inconvenience, sometimes not :o.
