  1. Yes, this junk can act as a currency. But if you were selling something in real life, and someone offered you Iraqi money or something that had little value to you, would be hard to use in other transactions, and worst of all, had questionable stability (could change in value at any moment), why would you want that currency? In real life we're able to say no and ask for whatever currency we want. But in runescape we can't. And that's an almost game-breaking problem. And that's the exact problem. You can't say yes or no. The very people who say this is "necessary" are the ones who are abusing it and getting rich off of it. It either needs to be properly reformed, or murdered. It's going to boil down to Jagex either making one item trades or just removing the trading system period. In theory no one is getting rich from it as the trade is balanced. Seller gets cash, buyer gets "junk" but the buyer still has items to the value of to use in another trade/sell. If anyone gets rich it's due to price flucuations and/or merchanting junk.
  2. No the true price is the GE price. Like it or not what Jagex say an item is worth, is what it is worth. Adding "junk" to it isn't selling it for more, it's adding to it's value. Also if people do junk trade then the GE will never have the "correct" price in it as most junk trades consist of med price.
  3. In my opinion junk trading does not exisit. If something is being used for something then it is hardly junk is it ;) The person who recieves the "junk" in the trade still has those items, and can just use them in another junk trade or even sell on the GE as people are buying "junk" items. It's a totally stupid practice. If I got a Dragon Full Helm I would put it on the GE at high price. Why would I want to activley seek out "junk" to get more? I'd have spent that extra in getting the junk. How many people have that much stuff in there banks? I know unstrung bows are common, but then fletchers buy these for fast XP. Scrolls? People exchange pouches for shards these days. Maybe the odd potion, but potions are so cheap you'd need thousands, lying around, in your bank. So yeah junk isn't junk if it has a purpose.

    They have high everything defense.
  5. Not all stores will buy all items.
  6. Normal answer. 1. Melee prayer with initate/prossy armour and your best other gear. Dharoks also works but quicker with whip imoh. 2. Chaos Tunnels 3. Super atk and str pots, holy wrench, prayer pots, fighting familiar. Rich answer. 1. Set up cannon and hide, will act as multi. 2. Taverley Dungeon 3. Cannonballs. Range familiar.
  7. Ah yes summoning does help....I forgot cause I didn't really train it (stopped at 10). Think the "crab" family helps raise fish but it is an invis boost. and you cannot use an invisible boost to do things you do not have the level for. For example at 58 woodcutting with a beaver you could cut maples at a lvl 60 rate but not actually cut yews as the yews require the actual level. However a pie would work.
  8. What if I skip all of that and just get 70 defense? And I need a money-maker then, so any suggestions on that? Just train defense to 70 via slayer. You will make a bit of cash, may even get lucky on clue scrolls and net some nice items.
  9. when you finish parts of rfd you get better gloves from normal-barrows barrows is better than dragon gloves by +3 in all stats except prayer and magic barrows and dragon gloves are the same 130k price though while rune is slighty weaker than dragon gloves and they are like 5-10k region Yep thats the reason. You'd have saved yourself 130k.
  10. There are also baby black dragons in the basement of the Evil Chickens lair. I prefer Chaos Tunnels for them though.
  11. Right first up buy yourself a black mask. Next go get a rune defender. Get a cape, skill cape or legends cape, even obby just a cape would be good. If you like Barbarian Assault get a fighter torso, if not don't worry too much. Do Recipe For Disaster and get some gloves, don't get dragon, stick to rune or barrows. Get 70 defense. By now you should have some more cash so: Buy a whip Buy Guthans and/or train summoning to 68 Get prayer to 60.
  12. You have low combat stats, are not willing to train them and yet want a Bandos Godsword? What are you planning on doing with it? On topic do some double nat running or hide tanning. You won't get any XP but you will get money.
  13. Works fine for me.
  14. There was a nifty little flow chart doing the rounds about 6 months ago which showed all quests and which ones it unlocked and in which sequence storywise. Sadly I didn't bookmark it as I have all quests done and cannot find it with a quick search. I'm sure someone will have a link.
  15. Black mask. Not only do you have to lay out for a cannon you also have to buy cannonballs and these go fast. Also very few tasks are cannonable in the grand scheme of things so only get a cannon when you can comfortably afford one. A black mask on the other hand is pretty much an essential slayer item.

No way to get the Bull Roarer back as yet. Many have tried, many have failed.
  17. Depends on task really. I get waterfiends fairly often and need the extra healing power of Guthans. Abby Demons on the other hand I can suffice with just a Bunyip.
  18. because the green charms have the most helpful familiars for training anything besides combat Buy pouches you want to use, make pouches for XP. For example I wanted some Beavers for woodcutting so I bought 10 of them rather than waste a green which could have been used for a Bunyip.
  19. Normal fighting setup except use Karils body and skirt for mage defense. Sara Sword is my weapon of choice but anything with a crush option works. Top line of inven have Guthans. Take super strength, attack and defense pots and about 10 prayer pots. Take a few sharks for emergencies. Pray range the whole time and make sure your weapon is always set to crush. Heal using Guthans when you get to half life. If you have 68 summoning bring a Bunyip and some swallow whole scrolls. This lessens the need for Guthans although I still bring it as sometimes they get lucky with 3 highish hits in a row. You will need to summon it when you are in the Dungeon though as you can't take it through the whirlpool. Bring another pouch and a summoning potion if you can last that long. Try it yourslef and you will learn your ideal inventory. I don't need many prayer pots at 70 prayer but others need more.
  20. I'm 99 cooking an can confirm that even at 99 you burn monkfish. However it is very very very rare. I did 200 for a friend no issues but then I found 5 in a store and cooked these and burnt one of them.
  21. Yes trout/salmon sell to new cooks. I made approx 400k from 75-80 fishing using an Ibis. Granite Lobster is better if you can use this instead. Do this at Shilo. As for buyng yews for firemaking just use maples. Stick 525k a week into MTK and set it to all maples and 50% coal. Should profit each week with seeds/nests/coal and still gain a massive stash of maples. Maples are 150k firemaking XP per hour so it isn't slow XP by any means.
  22. Addy bolts sell OK as rune bolts are a rip off. Addy plates sell to alchers but it's a huge loss.
  23. That's 3 good options but Rune Defender is obviously so good you mentioned it twice :P
  24. Rune Defender is your best bet. If you are getting hit too often and need defense the the Dragonfire Shield is the best option, however a Rune Kite should suffice. Guthans and Bunyips help a lot ;)
  25. Pyramid Plunder from 51.
