  1. No. You should be training with a crossbow and a zammy book. Also consider using mith/addy bolts with Ava's Accumulator. If you are not making money back on drops then you're training in the wrong place.
  2. I think Jagex should have 1 or 2 "slayer worlds" where you can only kill monsters if you are assigned them on task. Few points: 1. The worlds would only effect combat. Skillers would not suffer, they could still cut trees, fish sharks etc. 2. Slayer tasks could still be completed on other worlds if desired. A lot of slayer tasks are currently packed out with people charm gathering and or training outside of slayer. Steel Dragons are a good example of this, at 4 spawns per world it doesn't leave a lot of scope for the increased task amount and people are no longer skipping these as they want points. Other monsters are affected and to there credit Jagex have given us other options (Bloodveld, Crawling Hands, Banshees, Abby Spectres, most Chaos Tunnels monsters) but certain monsters are still packed most of the time. I think it would be a good idea.
  3. Nature runes with a Grahhk is fast "one rune" crafting. Out of the 2, deaths would be my choice. ZMI is good XP whenever you do it.
  4. 4 parts to the boss. 1st part is the hardest. Just use all your specs and melee him. 2nd and 3rd are rangeable, use the altar thing as a safespot. 4th part never hits (or never did me) and just runs around hiding. Once you've nailed the 1st the rest is easy.
  5. Yeah plan use the planner. You can trade pouches to get 70% of shards back so it really isn't that expensive. As a rule though save the blues until as late as you can.
  6. I have had willows to myself before. 1 time it will be 1 log, others it will be 15. Random.
  7. You seem to be after slayer XP and not slayer points so Duradel all the way.
  8. It won't cost, you should profit. You won't need food. If you use Lunar Bank you can always eat there if need be.
  9. Buy prayer or construction XP. Prayer would get my vote.
  10. Farming isn't popular anyway. Very few people enjoy doing it, and most only train it for quests. Before the GE people didn't sell uncommon seeds as they couldn't find buyers easily. When the GE came into play all these seeds got put en-mass into the GE and were readily buyable. Herb wise Farmers are only really interested in ranarrs, snaps and the highest herb they can farm. They use the ranarrs and snaps in the My Arm patch and one linked to the ammy of nature and the other 3 patches are filled with high XP giving herbs. As you have said some seeds are cheap as chips, it's better to get 21ish dwarf weeds per run than 21ish irits and the cost is negligable. Also due to the easiness of getting seeds and apples people are using Strawberries as the main allotment produce. This is a cheap, enforced farmer payment, and opens the flower patch up to grow marigolds which easily pays for the baskets of apples. Bearing in mind people can do these runs every 1.5 hours it makes some nice XP/profit \
  11. Use the Leaf Blade Sword with a Rune Defender or DFS.
  12. Great tips but you skip Kalphites?!? Why? Just cannon with super anti pots for uber fast XP.
  13. Also trade back your pouches. Money wise: 100k 70k 49k 34.4k So it isn't much of a loss in the long run.
  14. Slay. As you slay you will get charms to use for summoning. Once you hit 99 slayer you can always camp out at monsters if required. If you are getting bored, skill for a bit. I vary between combat and skilling to keep things interesting.
  15. Forget the XP for cooking but firemaking is 150k XP per hour. Cooking is faster though and less boring due to cook x.

OK last night wasn't as bad. Member worlds were averaging 1000 users whereas the night before it was 1200. Usually they are 800. Fire Giants in Brimhaven were crowded but I soon found an empty world. Then Abby Demons which are not really effectied by the mass new members.
  17. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest New version of Runescape isn't on it yet but just select anything. It will tell you what your memory and grpahics card and CPu and all that stuff is.
  18. Another method I am currently looking into is power battle staving. Due to waterfiends now dropping noted water orbs the GE has been flooded with these. Keep your eyes on the prices as you may be able to buy cheaply, attach to a battlestaff and still ach for profit.
  19. I want to get both fishing and cooking to level where i can decently fish and cook sharks (level 85 maybe?). I hear you never really decently fish sharks. Lobsters will net you more cash over the same time frame. You can cook sharks at 94 with gauntlets with no burning, but raw is worth more. Also the amount of caught fish to 99 is far more than the amount cooked fish to 99. Therefore most people treat fishing and cooking as separate skills and don't train them together.
  20. Far too small amounts. You will need to buy in bulk from the GE if you want to raise it seriously. I could do 5k raw materials a night pretty easily.
  21. Lunar spell Super Glass Make. You get 130 crafting XP per inven and due to the spell giving 1.3x the glass to the raw materials you will break even/profit. Before summoning was released and sand sky-rocketed I was making 5mil per 10k raw materials as well as getting crafting and mage XP for free. It's not as good now, but still works.
  22. Yeah me too. Spirt Cobra them into Cockatrice variants and sell on the GE, 3kea roughly.
  23. 1. So many it's hard to say. Make sure you have 2 gardens so when you do get dungeons its easy. Standard is Chapel to South, and a Portal Room to each side of the entrance. I have my study and workshop either side of the other garden. The glory room to the north of that. 2. What are you after? fishing XP, cooking XP?. Monks are fine for fishing if you want cash, if it's just XP fly fishing or Barbarian fishing are better. For cooking stick with lobsters/sharks as the gauntlets have no effect on monks. 3. Junk trading does not exist as the items are not junk if they have a purpose :D Basically though expensiveish items with no ingame purpose are used by sellers of expensive items in order to get more cash for a sale. However the seller needs to have the "junk" items to hand, otherwise they have to buy them making the whole idea pointless. Say for example you fletched to 99 using maples. The unstrung bows are useless but worth a fair bit so you could use them to get more cash on a godsword. Bear in mind though the buyer then gets the items and can use it in another junk trade. Like a coupon really. 4. I don't know the official line but I prefer 1 question per topic unless the questions are linked. For example this topic should have been 4 different topics but in the topic about fishing you could ask "whats the best XP?" and "whats the best profit?". Like I said I don't know the official TipIt regulations regarding this but it makes sense to me to have different topics. At least then the title gives a clue to what the post is :)

What there is a logical case for more member worlds. If the ratio of p2p/f2p is usually 30/70 and during the summer it gets to 60/40 then Jagex should be increasing the amount of member servers. Even if it is only 2 f2p servers which turn into members servers, thats still going to help. When the summer is over then the worlds can revert back to ftp. One of the ways membership was sold to me almost 3 years ago by Jagex themselves was the more space available to p2p members on less crowded worlds so you'll always find room to do your favorite tasks. This now obviously is not the case. Last night member worlds were 1200 approx on each world whereas f2p worlds had 700 people. That's 500 difference per world! I don't think anyone is going moan about there being more members as this can only be a plus for the economy and the game as a whole however people will moan about paying for cramped member worlds when there f2p compatriots are enjoying less crowded spots. Last night for example I had bloodvelds and had to struggle to find a world with a free space. Even then I stood around waiting for monster spawns when I could have been killing. Don't get me wrong Jagex have done bits to aide this, Bloodvelds in GWD and Bloodvelds near the Blood Altar spring to mind. Also the other popular slayer monsters have new areas added, with high requisites in order to enter. I just think a couple more member worlds during this peak time would help no end.
  25. Sell them without feathers. Fletchers use them.
