I say it in BA. Usually whenever I miss a call it's due to lag.
  2. Jokes are meant to be funny. This wasn't.
  3. There is one in Rimmington but it's part of Rocking Out so may not be available to f2p.
  4. Yeah they own you big time unless you exploit the range safespot, but even then it's risky. I'm at reasonable levels and still struggled to get a decent amount killed via melee. As for blocking them it's 100% up to you. You don't get them very often so it may not be worth the total block if you have other beasts you hate even more. Personally I blocked them as most of the other common skipped tasks are bearable (albeit expensive) XP.
  5. So you're going to stand around and wait at the farming patch? You don't spend 75 minutes watching grass grow, you go out and spend that time doing something else. Only the 8 minutes is actually spent farming. Thus, 120k/8 minutes, which averages to 900k/hr. Then that depends on what you do in your spare 52 minutes. The way you wrote your posts it gave the impression of 900k per hour with farming, which just isn't possible.

 I'm more competitive than she is. I could just let her get the XP to rise above me. If she sets her mind to beating my runecrafting or mining then she'd beat me :D
  7. Not quite grasped this have you. You do a run and then you wait for the herb to grow. This takes 75 minutes, 1 hour 15 minutes or 1.25 hours. Therefore you can only do 1 run every 75 minutes. You don't plant a herb seed and it instantly grows into herbs. This is the reason a lot of farmers do allotments too, extra XP and profit.
  8. Not likely. Jagex hand out black marks like they are going out of fashion. I have one for saying that "Runescape is more addictive than drugs". Totally innocent conversation made between me and someone else about how long we spent on Runescape. However a wannabe mod reported it and the auto-system deemed it a rule break despite it obviously not being one. When I found out I was muted, it was for another 20 minutes so I just rode it out and didn't bother appealing.

I am currently higher than my friend in all skills. She seems to want to beat me in something and obviously I don't want her to. She blitzed my firemaking level, so I took mine to 90, currently 3 levels ahead of her. I think she got bored of that, and realised it was a losing battle. Now she has decided to get high farming and is very very close to me. Luckily I have a huge stash of seeds saved up so last night did a nice tree run so today will be getting 5 mage trees, 3 palms and 2 papayas. Also planted a spirit tree which won't be ready. Also I am doing allotments/herbs, strawberries, marigolds and high level herbs. My question is, is this the most efficient way to train farming? I don't want to be spending too much on it and ideally would like to use the herbs myself, if I have to sell them though I will. Also I don't really want to be training farming, as I am after the new slayer items. Any ideas on the best way to incorporate the two until she gets bored of farming?
  10. I just stick to Duradel. Sure it will take me longer but I'm getting a bit better slayer XP and some nice slayer monsters to kill.
  11. i agree. they huge nr of xp you can get there outweight most people from farming ;) Snapdragon farming is 40k xp an hour AND 900k gp an hour. How does vinesweeper beat that. Farming tree seeds on the other hand is like 500k+ xp an hour, but also makes you lose 5M+ an hour. Your figures are well off and not thought out. Yes you can make huge XP on trees but even with Palms and Magics it will be nowhere near 500k per run. Also each run isn't an hour, it's far greater, and most people just do one tree run a day. As for Snapdragons, I fail to see how that can get you 40k XP per hour. I got 2-3k XP from strawberries and dwarf weed last night on one patch. That would make 4 patches 12k add in an extra 1k for the troll patch, makes it 13k every 1.25 hours if you do allotments (with strawberries) as well. Don't get me wrong you will still profit from herb farming, but the XP rate isn't really that high, otherwise we'd be seeing lots of level 99 farmers.

Just get onto World 6 and play there. If you are really stuck you can use clanchat "B A Addicts" to find a team, however the clan is only for experienced BA players. If you've never played before then don't use them as they will flame you. Also fighter torso isn't all that, barrows plates are better defensively and the minor strength bonus isn't going to make much difference. Until then use rune/granite. The only things I've ever bought from BA is the Penance Gloves, numerous Granite Plates and advancing skills.
  13. How much is a BGS now?
  14. It's already been said: You steal from evidence files at the Prison, gaining XP and items for each one. However it is very flawed as the items are mostly junk and not noted. As you cannot bring anything to the Prison with you, alching is not an option. Pyramid Plunder is still better.
  15. I don't fully understand what you are asking so will give some general advice. Time wise all herbs take the same time to grow, 75 minutes, unless they get diseased. Best way to farm herbs is just do an allotment run every 1.5 hours. Use all 5 patches. If you are short on cash then to start with only use Ranarrs and Snapdragons in My Arm's Patch and one protected by your Amulet of Nature. Herb seeds are cheap - Herbs are not. Even with buying seeds and having the odd patch die you will profit greatly. Whilst at your allotments I like to boost farming XP and profit by using stawberries and marigolds. Pay the farmer to look after the strawberries, 2 baskets of apples are cheap compared to 6-10 baskets of strawberries. The odd marigold will die but as your netting 2.5k per marigold, it isn't a huge loss.
  16. That's what it says on the main board, right underneath the Help & Advice, so this is in the right place as he was offering help. 8-)
  17. Abby Demons. However I found that Dharoking was actually slower than regular combat so went back to whip.

Dags under the lighthouse, Nechs, Cave horrors and Turoth all drop decently. However herbs are so profitable just buy the seeds and sell the herbs and you will lots of profit. If you are using the resulting herbs then you will lose out of course, but it all depends on how much you value herblore XP.
  19. Don't be scared. Bring Karils body and skirt and dragonfire/anti drag shield. Rest usual slayer gear inc. black mask. In inventory take 1 super set and 1 anti fire pot. 4 prayer pots and the rest sharks. Pray melee and attack. At 122 I get about 4-5 kills per trip. I bring a Terrorbird to summon in the dungeon to bring back mith bars/bones. I've had these as a task 3 times now, 4,5,and 7 amounts.

Yep totally random. I did 3 abby demons task this past week. 1st task = 1 whip and 162k in alched items. 2nd task = 80k in alched items. 3rd task = 51k in alched items. So you can't just say a figure per hour for this kind of thing. You'd be able to work out the rough XP per hour though.
  22. cat666 replied to watts320's topic in Help and Advice
Yep. At early levels it's best to balance all 3. Once you hit 55-60 power attack to 70 for whip. Then concentrate on strength, and finally defense. I raise mine in levels of 5. So 80st,80atk,80def,85str,85stk etc. Once you hit 85 def you don't really need much more in day to day slaying and atk/str becomes more important. If you want to boss hunt you will need higher def.
  23. They could still use normal worlds. Also Jagex would be able to monitor tasks given to ensure not everyone has the same task at the same time.
  24. I always find it puzzling why people gather around the GE. Sure if you are merchanting or buying/using (like herblore) then it's handy but people just hang out there. The other night there was about 10 people dressed as Jesters synchronising there emotes, in the most laggy part of the game. Silly if you ask me. I prefer to use my time to gain XP though.
  25. 1. What quests I should go and do that have good rewards. Do them all! Best ones recently were Legacy of Seergaze, Rocking Out and Smoking Kills. 2. best fishing/cooking exp for level 68/72. Fly Fishing at Shilo with an Ibis/Granite Lobster. Cook raw lobsters with guantlets. May lose a bit of cash here but not much at low levels. 3. reliable way to make about 10m (doesn't have to be a fast thing, I have alot of patience). Nature crafting. 4. new fun updates I should try out. Summoning if you've not already. 5. since the wilderness is very different now, is the wilderness area under Edgeville now safe from other players? (used to be a favourite spot of mine  ) Yes but there are ghosts called Revenants who roam around. More dangerous than PK'rs in some ways.
