Lag
Has it got any better yet? Last night I was forced to read a book :o

Leaf Bladed Sword
Exactly. Why waste time making junk when you could be training and/or making money a better way? Junk trading only really works if you have a huge stash of junk.

fire giants poisoned?
Yeah it's a bug when you range with a familiar out.

Coal Trucks.
this would be to easy Which is why it should be a reward for a hard quest with high requirements.

Prayer
Use someone else's altar. Chances are they are mass-alching and will keep burners lit for you. There isn't usually a charge but I like giving the max GP to the home owner once in a while or making a donation of marrentils/nats. I got from 60-70 in about an hour.

Black Demon
Yeah pray melee in your best prayer gear. Use Chaos Tunnels for some crimson charms. You will lose a bit of cash in prayer pots but they drop some nice alchable stuff so sometimes you break even. Don't skip them though, great XP in combat and slayer.

Coal Trucks.
We need a quest where the reward is the trucks go directly to the bank.

How do I take screenshots?
I have an HP Entertainment, and still don't have that. But FN+Scrn worked. Thanks! Also, MS Paint is missing from my Start>Accessories, but when I go to User>Pictures>Picture001>Open With>Paint, the option works, and it's there. When I use search and advanced search it only comes up with Paint.Net, which I also have installed. How do I get MS Paint back to the folder, or even find it? To be honest, no idea. Vista is so different to XP behind the scenes that I'm afraid the info I would give is wrong. However if it is Runescape screenshots you're after try using SwiftKit. Perfectly legal and has a handy screenshot function.

How do I take screenshots?
Trouble is Vista really is rubbish. Total rubbish. Most places you buy PC's offer a free "downgrade" to XP. Sadly the people I help with computer issues all have Vista and are not computer savvy so they leave the options on. And whats with the run as administrator thing?

Rocking Out with 68 Smithing
No you need the level to start the quest.

Crafting advise
So basically you want the levels without doing any sort of hard graft at all?

99 Fletching??
Same with all arrows. Great XP but getting the heads can be a pain in the rear. How many rune arrow heads do you see? Even addy ones are rare. Plus making arrows is very very easy and fast. Trouble is the severe lack of heads.

.Torrent
Trouble with Torrents is that they are used primarily for illegal purposes. Usually to get a torrent you have to go via a "dodgy" website. As well as being filled with porn advertisments they tend to try and install all manner of junk onto your PC. Then you need a torrent program in order to download them, and guess what? A lot of them are riddled with viruses and adware. Even then, when you do get the file, chances are it's a virus or something else. So basically the legal side of torrents is overshadowed by the bigger illegal side of it. Although it's slower I recommend using p2p software for sharing files as usually you interface with one program and then it's just a case of making sure the files you download are not viruses (and legal of course). Most legal sites will distribute via torrent and p2p.

Vista is rubbish tbh. Do you want to do that? Are you sure you want to do that? I'm sticking to XP.

Firefox and Youtube
I had a similar issue when I upgraded to Firefox 3. However it was with the music player on Myspace. To solve it go to the flash site and click the Flash On animation. It then loaded up a flash movie and Myspace worked from then on in.

How Jagex Customer Support failed me
I got a black mark for saying Runescape is more addictive than drugs. It's just the word drugs which they seem to hate. Spadeful of coke is something to do with a furnace though, you used to have to add coke (coal) to a fire to keep it blazing.

Eff the Wilderness times infinity
 Make sure you have full prayer and a DDS. Then all you need is there clue scroll, chart, sextant, spade, compass and a Ring of Duelling for fast banking once you're back in Ardy. Walk everywhere and as soon as you are attacked by a rev run in the opposite direction. Log out ASAP and change Worlds before logging back in. Stick prayer on for pro mage, DDS spec until he is dead. Now walk back to the lever. Again running in opposite direction if attacked.

Shields
Rune/Obby/Crystal are all much of a muchness. Rune/Crystal has better defense but the crystal degrades so isn't always used. Obby offers less defense but more of a strength bonus and also protects against range attacks. Dragon SQ/Rune Defender are the next bracket. Again the dragon offers the best defense but the rune defender offers the best strength bonus (plus some other offensive stats) DFS is the top one and offers not only good defense but also a nice strength bonus. Mind shield is best if facing mage opponents but most players prefer to either pray against the mage attacks or wear Karils which offers enough mage defense to ward off most attacks. I would go for Rune Defender for the majority of things, if you're getting hit too often use a Rune Kite. Dragon SQ is a waste of cash really.

Slayer Skill
that's 2 boots an hour,no way i get that. Boots are/were 1/70 kills roughly. I can easily kill 140 an hour. However last task of 154 yielded no boots. So it certainly isn't guaranteed money, and there is actually more chance of a decent drop at GWD to pay for the hours spent.

99 Fletching??
Yew longs still profit don't they? I used to buy yews and bow strings. Fletch the logs en-mass then add the bowstring. You won't be able to sell the bows on the GE due to trade restrictions but alchers on the RSOF still buy. Try buying unfinished mithril bolts from the GE, lots of people training smithing atm for new quest so should be plenty around. Add a cheap feather and then sell as bolts. May break even/profit. I heard the fastest XP is making dragon arrows, 2mil XP an hour apparantly. However the dragon arrows are hard to come by :(

Slayer Skill
I have a post in the Rants forum about the "degrading" slayer rewards. In short when slayer was released people made millions. Now more people have the levels/items new slayers are not earning as much money. Also when a new slayer item is released, Dragon Boots, for example the older slayers revert back to slayer, and make yet more money. Slayer raises so slowly that by the time a new player has the level to get Dragon Boots themsleves they are cheap due to the mages being camped at by high levelled slayers. Don't get me wrong I'm not against high levelled slayers benifiting from new updates (I'm 88 myself) but there is no real incentive to train slayer anymore. Yes you will profit with the regular drops but it certainly isn't bank breaking stuff. Therefore people are power training elsewhere and then using the GWD for cash. I have 2 solutions. 1. Make it so any future slayer only drop is only available to those on task. 2. Make it so any future slayer only drop is only available via slayer points. Once you've bought the ring and the helm, and stopped 4 tasks there really is nothing else, slayer wise, to spend the points on. Sure you can get 10k XP but thats a pitance for the points used and it's far better buying slayer dart runes. I would rather be able to store up some points and by some Abyssal Armour, or maybe a funky new Battlestaff.

A Slayer question
Slayer Helmet and Fury ftw. Yes you lose 5% from the Salve (e) if you use Slayer Helm (as they don't stack) but the boosts of the Fury more than make up for it. Including prayer boost, which if you cared that much about the 5% you could just stick the relevant 15% prayers on :)

99 Woodcutting hours.
I was chopping at 45k per hour at 79.

death runes
Are these guthanable? Yep! They're great. They don't hit hard, drop fish, both noted and unnoted (raw, so you can lop a tree down outside or something to cook if you want a more extended stay), drop regular bones (b2p), the only real bad thing is you'll keep getting stuck on all the debris on the floor. There are no special req's other than the quest, slayer level, and a spade afaik. Even a fairy ring right there for fast bank trips (well, just outside the cave, DKS). Bunyip is also great. You won't get hit too much so should be fine. If not you can use the scroll to eat some raw fish. The downside is they don't give much XP, but they are one of the most underated dropper for profit in the game. Also they drop the Brine Sabre which fights underwater. No real use now, but I save them up as I'm sure Jagex will make a use for them in the future.
