  1. It also lets you work in another window with it's "always on top" feature which is great when you are doing something like making cannonballs. SS uses IE which is great if you use Firefox as the cache is different.

Pot's which you can make with a profit pretty easily: Prayer (Ranarr) Super Attack (Irit) Super Strength (Kwaurm) Super Defense (Cadantine) Super Restore (Snapdragon) Anti Fire (Lantadyme) Ranging (Dwarf Weed) Sara Brew (Toadflax) How you get to 99 is down to your skills and the contacts you build up. For ages I had a steady supply of ranarr weeds on the cheap and therefore was able to make profit and semi decent XP. Then I got to the farming level for Cadantines and therefore was able to cheaply make super defense pots. A rough guide would be prayer pots until super restores, super restores to ranging, ranging to sara brews, then sara brews to 99. When the Dragonfire Sheild came out people who could make anti-fire pots made a mint as loads of people were killing dragons. You can still find buyers if you are lucky.
  3. He said he wanted it on the cheap :) But yeah you will get more tree seeds if you set maples to 100%. However you will only end up with 3.5k flax a week which isn't enough to make a profit (unless you find time to spin to bowstrings). You do however end up with a lot of maples but I always struggle to sell them.
  4. Use MTK to get tree seeds. 100% flax, 50% maples. Averages about 30 nests a week. Buy oaks/apples if you run low as these are cheap. Once a day do a tree run which takes you around all 9 patches (5 tree, 4 fruit). Always pay the farmer to look after these, don't bother with super compost, not needed. Whenever you can (roughly every 75 mins) do a herb allotment run, taking in all 4 allotments and the extra herb patch. Cabbage seeds are dirt cheap and provide reasonably fast XP. Herb wise I would say use My Arm's patch for ranarr/snapdragons seeds and fill the other 4 with less expensive seeds. If you have an ammy of nature then you can plant ranarr/snaps in another patch if you are staying online. Harralander/Toadflax is ideal. Harra seeds are 1kea and Toadflax about 1.2kea. Harra herbs sell about 1kea whislt Toadflax sell for about 1.3kea. Harras are bought by people training herblore for fast XP at a medium level. Toadflax by high level herblorists for the Sara Brews. If you use magic secatuars and super compost you are guaranteed at least 5 herbs from a plant. 5 * 1000 = 5000 - 1000 = 4000 Thats minimum profit on a harralander. Sometimes you will get lucky and get 10 harralanders. That's 9k profit. These are ideal for "power farming" becuase if one dies, you only lose 1k seed cost, and this is easily recoupable with another plant. If you grow watermelons don't waste them on super compost. Ahmaid in Catherby will sell you 40 pineapples a day for 2gpea. If you do manage to get through these you can pick more for free on Brimhaven or convince another player to buy there stock of pineapples from them. 40 pineapples is still 30+ super composts though so you will rarely use them in one day. This way you won't lose much, save the odd few gp on pineapples/cabbage seeds/tree seeds. The herbs will more than make up for this, even you are only growing harras/toadflax.
  5. Totally forgot about that one :P I used to go there a long time ago so yeah you can go back there and salve does work. Ape toll sound nice, but I really don't like taking that chance of being too slow to pot up with supers. Think I'll go with Damis's lair for now :P You can use Chivalry/Piety prayer as well as Protect from Melee. It's I do all my monkey tasks there.
  6. Wilderness until 70. Then Ape Atoll
  7. You can see my stats in my sig. I wear prostelyte body and skirt, use salve ammy (e) and super str and atk pots. I use approx 3 prayer pots (4) in order to get a decent inventory full. Drop any herbs, harralander or below. You will get more ranarrs than prayer pots you use.
  8. Barbarian Fishing is faster but you make no profit. Shilo is next fastest and you will profit a little.
  9. Zanaris
  10. Agreed. Mine yourself some normal ess and buy/make some rings of duelling. Start at Castle Wars, get a fire tiara on, take out 28 ess and duel ring to Al Kharid. Now run north to the fire altar, craft and duel ring back to CW. Bank the fire and get out 28 more ess. Tele back to Al Kharid etc. etc. Very fast XP for very little cost. Once you are at 44 you can craft nats. Via the abyss is fastest but if you don't want to go there then don't. Do Fairy Tale pt 1 and start Fairy Tale pt 2 to use the fairy rings. Now you can use a fairy ring close to the altar. Just glory to Edgeville and use the fairy ring south of the canoe spot to get back each time. It's slower but still faster than the shop method. Now just mine 1k pure ess and craft to nats. Sell your 1k nats for 300k and using that money buy 3k pure ess. You will prolly get it cheaper these days. Now craft that 3k of ess and you will have 900k. Rinse and repeat. In the early days of my Runescape career this proved the easiest and fastest way to make cash.
  11. Barbarian Fishing is fastest XP per hour but you make nothing. Shilo is next fastest and you will profit. Monkfish are profitable but not as fast as the other 2. I suggest Shilo. Feathers are 6ea and you can buy 50k at a time. From 70-99 I worked myself out to need around 200k feathers, 1.2mil. It is faster to bank at Shilo than it is to drop so you will end up with 200k raw fish. You can then either cook them for a cheap (albeit slower) way to 99 cooking or sell to low level cooks in bulk. As long as you get more than 6ea per fish you will profit.

Fairy Tale Pt 1 Start Fairy Tale Pt 2 Fairy Rings useful.
  13. Took me about 500 kills for mine, and I struggle to kill them, they seem to always hit 7's every hit, even in dragonhide. Ranged them in the end but since they can now move diagonally it makes them harder still. How do you kill them so easily?

Why does everyone think non degrading is that good? Seriously it takes less than a minute to repair barrows items and isn't that expensive if you train on slayer and/or profitable monsters.

You can get it back by using the Ramdas Note on a Jungle Forester, they will want a copy, request something in exchange for a copy of the notes. They then give you a bull roarer.
  16. Culinecromancers chest used to have 50 in it if you've done all of RFD. Dunno if it still does with this new update though
  17. I would buy from that guy in Catherby then. You can buy 40 a day.
  18. You get about 9k flax if its at 100% so thats roughly 900k You get about 3.5k maples at 50% so thats about 7k for 100% which would only be 700k. Also flax is easier to sell than maples and you can flog the tree seeds for a decent amount usually.

Got Gargolyles last night and did them. I do not find them that hard at all. I make my own super attacks and super strengths and 8 doses of each gets me through the assignment fairly easily. Guthans to heal. My main concern was lagging out here and dying, losing Guthans in the process. Since Jagex have fixed this though I will do these from now on. However Duradel is still being annoying as he gave me Steel Dragons after the Gargoyles. Skipped for wolves, back to Duradel and he gave me Steel Dragons again!! He must really hate the Steel Dragons as he keeps asking me to kill them!
  20. Still get one. I find it handy to use on my allotment/herb runs so I know when I can start a new one. I plant a ranarr or snapdragon seed and bind it to that, that way I won't loose valuable herbs and I know when to start again.
  21. 1 teak = 1% It's the fastest.
  22. Limited to 50k per transaction.
  23. If I had 10mil spare I would raise my prayer a bit.
  24. 6gp ea from the stores. Cost me roughly 1.2mil to buy 200k feathers which should get me near 99. Once I have 85 that is.
  25. Chop teaks to get 100% favor. You only need 1.4mil in coffers as the way it's worked out is a set percentage is taken every day to a max of 75k. Having 5 mil will not impact the amount you recieve. Check every week, retop up your favor, collect your stuff and add another 525k to the coffer (to replace what was spent) I find the best way is 100% on flax and 50% on maples. Averages 9k flax, 3.5k maples and 30 nests per week. Flax alone pays for the 525k.
