You watch Etho, right? Make a cave spider/blaze farm. I have a zombie farm, it works well enough. If my laptop was better it would be fine, but 200+ mobs drops me to a frame every few seconds. Otherwise I would just leave it running overnight and kill them in the morning. Plus I got a Fortune 3, Efficiency 4m Unbreaking 3 diamond pickaxe, so I'm ok for now. All I need is to find a nether fortress and I'll be able to just throw a splash potion and kill them all at once, more or less negating the frame rate issue.

It makes me sad that I, barring some extremely rapid advances in technology, will never be able to visit a planet like this if we ever find one that is habitable. I personally think it would be incredible to get that chance, especially if there is life on said planet. Although at the same time I'm glad we can't, since humans would inevitably destroy the planet. And yeah, the link is broken.

I'm sure they're fantastic but I'm quite happy with taking scalding hot showers. Maybe I'll try it though. I just find hot showers to be incredibly relaxing. Maybe I'll take a cold one in the morning and a hot one at night.

My life is devoted to grinding xp. I got up to level 50 and then managed to kill myself doing something stupid before I could use it. Put me all the way back to level 8. All I [bleep]ing want is fortune.

I have Sennheiser 428s that I'm in love with, but they're $100. Very durable, fairly soundproof. Wireless headphones tend to be of a lesser quality (sound-wise) than wired. Would you recommend Sennheiser in general as a brand? They all seem to have pretty good reviews, my only real concern is if they have durable enough wires, I tend to abuse them a fair amount and I don't want to have a useless pair of headphones just because of a short in the wire. Edit: Are these what you have?

Looking for a little bit of help, thought I'd go here since it's just a quick question: Does any one know of some decent over-ear headphones for >$50? Durability is the main concern, I don't want them break in a month like the cheap earbuds I've been buying. So I guess as a followup question, are wireless ones worth it as over ones with wires? It's always the wires that seem to break for me.

Got my new room assignments today. I don't know if anyone remembers me [bleep]ing about it, but I ended up getting a room to myself. It's a little more expensive and much smaller but it'll be sweet. My current roommate got a room in the same building on the same floor so we'll still hang out. In all, pretty awesome. It's in pretty much the center of campus too.

I can relate entirely. I wasn't a cashier, but I work in a grocery store and I am more or less the guy who makes sure everything in the store doesn't go to shit. And because I work a minimum wage job, people assume I'm an idiot. The reason I'm working there is because I'm 18 and I'm trying to pay my way through college. People seem to assume that I work there because I'm not capable of working anywhere else when the reality of the situation is that I'm a teenager and I don't have a degree, so very few places will hire me. But It doesn't actually annoy me too much, I just thought I'd give my opinion since it was relevant.

I found out about half an hour ago that I'm being forced out of my dorm room next semester and put into a new room with a new roommate. I have a week to decide what I'm going to do. I'm pretty pissed off. I would have been ok with it if I had been notified about it at the beginning of the year instead of being told that I have a week to figure out what I'm doing. I'm pretty tempted to live at home and save myself $8k a year or just move into an apartment with my girlfriend now. It's sad though, I had a nice room in a great location, and a roommate who I like quite a bit and is pretty much the only friend I have. He's going to have to go to a new room too, but it explicitly says that you can't choose who you'll live with. Maybe I'm making to big of a deal out of this, but honestly, I'm pretty upset.

3:30 and I have a page and a half of my paper done. Two nights in a row sans sleep? I think so.

She pretty much always goes to class, but she found out she has to pay for $150 worth of parking tickets and her dad got mad at her about it (some of the tickets were bullshit to be fair) so she was really upset. She's never really had to pay for anything in her life so she treated it like the worst thing in the world. I mean, she freaks out about how much she has to pay for gas, but her definition of paying means someone gives her money to buy it and she can't use that money for the things she wants to. I think once she has a job she'll get her shit together when it comes to money, but if not I'm going to tell her I'm not living with her. There's no way we could live off the amount of money we'd be making if she spends her money like that, especially since I'm paying $8000 a year for tuition alone, which is more than my annual income at my current job by itself. So now that I've made my girlfriend seem like an awful person, I'm going to get ready to go to my lab.
