amazing spiderman 2 - kind of a mess of a movie. green goblin felt jammed in just so they could hit that story note, which was the most obnoxiously telegraphed and pointless thing, though it was a good scene. i didn;t really buy electro or the goblin's changes into villains, especially turning it against spiderman. it seemed like they just went straight on cackling villain because "well it's the end of the movie, gotta wrap things up" rather than for any character driven reasons. i think it could've been fixed pretty easily, too. very pretty though, and the soundtrack was certainly something new and interesting, though i don't know if it worked out too well. i hope electro didn;t actually bite it in the end, though. foxx was probably the best part of the movie. captain america 2 was much better, though i guess more safe and predictable.

yeah, if you have an issue with facebook it's generally fixable if you feel like spending five minutes or so in menus or whatever. feels good not having to deal with upworthy, dumb political opinions, terrible memes, while still being able to have conversations w/people.

the deals have been a bit disappointing so far, especially wrt how many early access games are taking up space oh well, i still picked up a few interesting games. sins of a solar empire, warband, call of juarez so far. and i've also made about 3bux back from selling the trading cards, which is a nice bonus.

I finally finished New Vegas, after a bunch of false starts over several years. Definitely the best game I've played this year, maybe in the past couple of years. And now I realise how much I typed about a videogame and hide it all in spoiler tags so I don't feel so ashamed.

I think my favourite moment of the trailer was the armless lady waterbending herself arms. also magmabending ? korra metalbending too, from the looks of it. the music was real good too. all the people airbending probably has something to do with the spirit world now being linked. tho there's only a couple of instances of spirits showing up in the trailer. maybe they just prefer the spirit world.
