  2. The only downside to this album is that D-Up isn't on it, but oh well. Still awesome.

  5. I managed to fail my solo performance piece in Year 12 Drama through a combination of nervousness and lack of preparation. Just managed to scrape a pass thanks to decent writing marks, though. Usually I get nervous as hell, but as long as I've rehearsed long and well I won't get stage fright/screw up my lines or anything. Which makes me a pretty mediocre debater, I've found. I can do great speeches, but I'm teeeeeerrible at rebuttals.
  6. Brooklyn, by Woodkid.
  7. Well, from his point of view he was palming off a car wash that was going to crash and burn because of the environmental issues, so I just kinda thought of it as two [bleep]s being [bleep]s to each other, with Walt finally out[bleep]ing Eyebrow Guy at the end. I'm not sure if that'll be the last we see of him, either. I could see him showing up for whatever reason (nostalgia, etc) and seeing that the car wash is still doing business and not shut down for environmental junk and getting quite suspicious. Just to complicate things further.
  8. Only now? I've found him to be pretty awful since about season... 2ish, I think. And eyebrow guy deserved that, as much as Walt was being a douche. Walt just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper this season, it seems. Every time he tries to do something significant, it ends up backfiring on himself/other innocent people. Though his rant in the beginning of the episode was pure badass. And the meth houses in the series feel so gross, I feel like showering after they show one. /shudder

The Borgias sounds like it might fit your tastes, seeing as it's pretty much The Tudors 2.0. It's pretty good. Also Breaking Bad, but then again everyone should watch that. And I'll also second Suits, Psych and Burn Notice, haha.
  11. Bloodlust, by Vortek.
  12. Haha, wow. I have never noticed that. And yeah, I definitely thought there was something different about the picture, I just couldn't quite place what it was. If Notch gets them working it'll put some of the currently lauded seeds to shame.
  13. Can anybody explain the significance of that to me? I... don't really get it. ._. Also, what's that red speckled thing? Like a giant mushroom or something?
  14. Probably my accent and a slight improvement in reaction times, I guess? Then again these aren't really habits so nothing.

    This is the greatest thing.

  17. Source Code - ending felt tacked on, but as tacked-on endings go, it's one of the better ones. Also, [bleep] Goodwin.
  18. Feel Good Inc. (Stanton Warriors Remix), by The Gorillaz.
  19. I'd say the series peaks at Storm of Swords, then goes down, and then up again in terms of reading-fastability. And then you need to wait 5 years for the next one. :> As for me, I'm trying to reread House of Leaves. I'd do the wanky bluetext stuff but effort. I've found that I don't get burnt out so quickly if I just skim the framing chapters where the guy starts talking about his... hooker girlfriend, or something. I can't really remember. God they're dull.
  20. Breakdance Beach, by Hail Mary Mallon.
  21. Probably leaving school two and a half hours early for most days was the worst thing I got caught doing, but I only got detentions for that, which I also skipped out on. I also sold proxies to stupid kids so they could browse Facebook and flash game websites and stuff, which resulted in me getting talked at by the head of IT. But the worst in terms of like tangible punishments was not getting a haircut, funnily enough.
  22. So, this week's episode was great. Not as great as last seasons episode with the fly in the lab, but definitely up there. Dat cliffhanger and all. Possibly a couple of the funniest moments in the series and the most intense so far, too. Also, definitely helps build up Gus's reputation as a heartless sonofa[bleep], with the bit at the start. I don't have much else to say about it since I'm just about to go into cryogenic sleep until next week. So yeah. Also, methed out rant guy is the best.

McDonalds is a pretty awesome place to work. I worked there for about a year and a bit in year 11-12. Not too difficult, even when business starts to get ridiculous on like Saturdays and crickect weekends and junk it's pretty fine if you can do things reasonably quickly without [bleep]ing up. The worst thing I'd say is dealing with the people who are generally just [cabbage]ty because there's a lot of people there/machines are broken, etc, and that's really not too bad since it's kinda like just radiated [cabbage]tiness, not concentrated at you (most of the time). Took apart my computer and cleaned it out today since I saw a couple of ants crawling in and out of the USB slot. I had an irrational fear that I would go to sleep one night and the front of my tower would like fall off and legions of ants would devour me in my sleep. Apart from that, nothing special. Uni, mostly. EDIT - Also the cheap food, [bleep] yeah. Cannot believe I forgot that.

  25. nope. love it. end on a high note Yeah, five definitely seems like a good number to end on. One season to get out from under Gus, and another to rise to the top of the meth world (or die of cancer).
