Might I inquire as to why the Netherrack portal monument was removed? Seems to directly go against rules 1 and 2 of the server. Alongside being kind of a dick move.

Not nearly as bad as last week's episode. Not nearly as many baffling decisions and ridiculous contrivances. Much better paced, too. Zombie outta nowhere was hilarious. Daryl is awesome as always. The scene with the kid was one of the harder things to watch on the show. New characters don't suck, and now at least they have more people to kill off. They should just kill everyone off until there's only T-Dogg, Glenn, Dale and Daryl left. And then do a tie-in with L4D3 so they're the new survivors. Or sub T-Dogg in with suicide lady. Also was that a Breaking Bad crossover I spotted in Merle's stash?

First 30 minutes were pretty good and tense and stuff. The last 30? Awful. I also think it may be a problem when the character I like the most has an SS symbol on his bike. Zombies are still awesomely make-up'd and etc, though. [spoiler=Premiere Spoilers]I hope that kid getting shot was a comedy scene, because I was laughing my arse off.

Hopped on the server to look around, and the map is really cool looking. o_o Floating mountains (owned by Gio) abound! Been looking for a nice, legit server to just relax in, so posted a whitelist app. Also, question, I've got a couple of friends who were also looking for a server like this, could they apply for whitelisting or is it TIF people only?

Finished Dead Island after quickly becoming tired of the Jungle and putting it aside for a couple weeks. The melee combat was fun, everything else was pretty much abysmal. It's sad, because the game had so much potential. For games I am currently playing, though? I bought Hard Reset and am installing it now, so that, I guess. I expect to be disappointed.

Welp, looks like Breaking Bad has dethroned The Wire as my favourite [bleep]ing TV series of all time, that was spectacular. Honestly, I would not be surprised if they just ended the series there, and Season 5 was just a big fakeout thing. I know that that's impossible but still. "I won."

The Guard (2011) - Like a mix of In Bruges and Hot Fuzz. [bleep]ing hilarious. Brendan Gleeson is the best anything ever.

The Magicians, by Lev Grossman. Since it's a magical boarding school fiction, the obvious thing to do would be to say "if you like Harry Potter, read this." But that would be doing it a disservice, as they're pretty different. I'd recommend it anyway, as I read it in two nights, and will probably end up reading it again. If you're a fan of magic and stuff, read it, but it definitely feels more... anti-fantasy than anything else, really. Don't go into this with the mindset of "oh, Harry Potter for adults" like I did and you'll probably enjoy it a lot. I really like the universe, and would definitely read more stuff set there, but the protagonist was definitely unsympathetic, which I suppose was kinda the point, but still.

I will give this writing stuff thing a shot. Hail Mary Mallon - Are You Going to Eat That? Hail Mary Mallon is a rap group made up of Aesop Rock, Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz. The whole album is kinda unfocused, the tracks are generally good, if a bit lacking in substance, I guess. It's nothing serious, just three guys making good music. I hadn't listened to Rob Sonic before this, but I've been meaning to give him a shot, and this has pretty much confirmed it. As awesome as Aesop Rock is his lyrics are dense as [bleep], meaning getting something out of his songs is an effort (lolol pretentious rap snob), and Rob Sonic... I don't know, grounds him, or something. Good stuff, nonetheless. Now instead of feeling like a lacking poster I feel like a bad reviewer, haha.

Those are pretty enjoyable books, but I'd advise you stop reading the second he starts jamming environmental junk down your throat. It's mostly downhill from there. I'm reading The Science of Discworld III. I got this when I was like 14 and basically skipped all the non-story chapters, so now I'm going back now that I can actually understand/be interested by them and they're pretty great. And of course I get to pick up on all the references and jokes I missed when I was younger, too.

It vaguely irritates me whenever I see somebody use tropes in casual conversation. Especially if they capitalise them.

[spoiler=Deus Ex mission 1] Yeah you could save them if you didn't screw around at Sarif for 20 minutes or so. As for the gas bomb, you can either find a code, hack it, or take a third option and just shoot the containers. [spoiler=Moooore spoilers]GAS BOMB WHAT. I saw a Pocket Secretary regarding that but never came across it. ._. Well this game's replayability is definitely looking pretty massive at the moment, this makes me even happier, haha.

Picked up SPOICE M'REEN and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Three recent games in like three weeks is somewhat of a record for me. All worth the purchase, too, from what I've played of them (only the first mission for Deus Ex, and a couple levels of Space Marine). [spoiler=First Mission Deus Ex Question]Were the gassed hostages a kind of timed objective or does it just happen regardless? Like, if I had spent less time dicking around in all the offices and junk, could I have saved them?
