Tribes: Ascend - free-to-play multiplayer FPS
Apart from being class and team-based FPS shooters, not very much. I would check out the "WTF is..." video, gives a good idea of what kind of a game it is. I downloaded it and steamrolled everyone in my server. For the game I played I got about 20 kills while they were all at around 5-10 kills. I would also say kills matter a lot less than in TF2. It's a lot more fast-paced and stuff. That midair flagpass in the video was awesome as hell, Azv. Same with the vehicle kill. My attempts at Shrike flying generally end that way, only with me dead instead of anythingelse.

This happened to me, I looked about on the internet and found out it was probably because I killed some witch out in the forest near Riverwood. I just stayed away from Riverwood for a couple of days and it seemed to resolve itself.

Whatever you want, wherever you want. I generally follow the main quest until High Hrothgar (for various gameplay reasons) and then just roam about, advancing the main quest whenever I feel like. Outside the major cities there are carts that can take you to other major cities, which is good for quickly getting to parts of the map at first, because it's pretty massive. There are some main guilds, the Mage's guild is up north in Winterhold, the Companions (Fighter's Guild, pretty much) in Whiterun, Thieves' Guild in Riften, Dark Brotherhood in... Windhelm, I think. Those are some of the cooler questlines, I've found.

I played the hell out of Tribes 2, didn't even know this existed. You can definitely bet I'm interested in it though, thanks for the heads up.

What book are you currently reading?
From what I've heard, most of them are godawful too.

Why does society dislike men having long hair?
Because manly men can't do manly things with their manly hair in their manly eyes. I know this from experience, since my hair is actually pretty ridiculously long at the moment. Which is mainly due to a combination of a pretty lax job and my crippling laziness, not because I like the look of it or anything. Though with long hair you need to keep it nice and clean and shiny. I don't know how people go around without washing their hair, you can almost feel the grease just looking at it. Ugh.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Picked up a couple of new games, and an old game which has entertained me more than both the new ones combined: Arkham City, Revelations and Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition. I got it when it was 80% off, quickly found out that the AI sucks and pub players are awful, so I press-ganged about six of my friends into picking it up and now we have fun stomping each other's teams of virtual people into the ground.

AC Revelations
Picked it up on PC, not enjoying it as much as Brotherhood. Hookblade is a good idea but all the new climbing things seem like they are pretty jerky and don't respond well, making climbing less awesome. Combat has become more infuriating, especially when a civilian grabs your target while you're assassinating them and you go through with the animation but the guard doesn't and they also take no damage. Just a lot of niggling things. I miss the random missions around the city (assassination, thieving, courtesan, etc), the dynamic missions seem pretty awful. Only at about 34% sync so maybe it picks up I guess. MP is great though, didn't get a chance to play it in Brotherhood (because Ubisoft sucks), but it's really fun if you get into a match without morons.

Which game for christmas
I think he's talking about Dust 514, a console MMOFPS (apparently), which isn't coming out for a significant amount of time. @highlanders - The beta for SWToR has been opened for a pretty long while for everyone who applied, and I don't think it's very wise to get into an MMO as soon as it comes out for a variety of reasons unless you're v. interested in the game's settings, or you've been in the beta and enjoyed it. And, with the other game not coming out in time for Christmas, Skyrim seems like the only reasonable choice out of the three.

Which game for christmas
A +1 for Skyrim, and a -1 for SWToR.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Hopefully the rest of those awful videos will follow. And then they should salt and burn his account, so nothing can grow there ever again. That works on the internet, right?

The Walking Dead
Following an incredibly mediocre season/half-season, I believe I should deliver a PSA: watch Dead Set. A good zombie show.

The official World of Warcraft thread.
Mists of Pandaria is an expansion dedicated to pretty much solely advancing the Alliance/Horde conflict. Resubbed for Patch 4.3 with some friends, enjoying it so far, picked up the Annual Pass, too.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
The kind of person that will reply to something like this with something like "I disagree did you see what I did there truly I am at the height of comedic wit." They annoy the hell out of me in advance.

The Walking Dead
I can't have been the only one hoping that Shane would shoot Andrea in the leg and leave her for dead then, right. The only way this show can be good is if they just completely take refuge in how stupid it is, they just drift from town to town doing completely retarded things and having all the other survivors call them out on how dumb they are and sending them packing. Also CGI on that pharmacy zombie was possibly the worst I've seen in the past couple of years, haha. Also zombies are ninjas guys this is an established fact.

Skyrim is actually one of the few games that I would be more than happy to buy DLC for. I think I've put about 20 hours into it and I'm still around that level myself. Question, though: I found a giant underground... sun-type thing. Can't remember where, but does anyone know if it holds any kind of importance?

Why won't dragons leave me alooooooone. I don't want any more of their souls but they keep attacking me. ;_; Playing perhaps the most boring race/class atm. Imperial two-handed swordsman, haha. Next run will probably be a stealthy archer. This game is so great.
