The invasion thing only happens if you decide to turn human. It's the trade-off you make for being able to summon other people/NPCs in to help you with boss fights and people invading you and the like. I'm a big fan of Dark Souls, but people really overhype the difficulty and hardcoreness or whatever of the game. I think the best part of the game is how open it is. I'm still coming across areas I had no idea existed in my first couple of playthroughs.

The information about Craster giving his sons to the White Walkers was more implied through conversation and stuff rather than outright shown. Just a heads up, Episode 2 was released early on HBOGo in the Netherlands. It's now available at all disreputable "retailers". It's pretty great, if you're okay with having to wait two weeks for a new episode.

Goddaaaaaamn. That final scene was certainly something. The plot was moving a bit slow (expected for the first episode) and then that happened. The acting seems to have gotten so much better, too. I wasn't really a fan of some of the acting last season (mainly Robb and Cersei) but they've really stepped it up a notch. Even though I know in broad strokes what's going to happen, I love seeing how individual scenes will play out. I definitely think the TV series has made me care for/enjoy the characters more.

So I'm guessing this is the kind of "experiement" that goes insane and murders half the townsfolk, right?

That is a ridiculous amount of money. I'd probably travel for a while, set my family up nicely and then give a bunch away to charities and medical researchers. Then buy a nice house and pretty much become a recluse.

This is good advice, except I would suggest cleanshaven, not knowing anything about your face shape and etc. Having no facial hair works for pretty much everyone, while facial hair can look pretty awful on a whole lot of people.

Yeah, not gonna lie, a lot of those points they (the video) bring up seem pretty dumb. The only point that I think is legitimate is the whole 'Bioware choice' thing but, really, no choices in a Mass Effect game has any real effect. They're... Hobson choices, I think the right term is. Two options giving the same outcome. You'll always arrive at the same outcome, with maybe some changed dialogue and a difference in the good or bad points you get. Sometimes they'll just outright ignore your choices, too, so yeah. I really don't see why people are getting so riled up about it now, and I really don't see why Bioware is considering listening to them. But, if it turns out that it is indeed all some big Reaper-induced fever dream, I will eat crow and laugh at Bioware.

Could someone post (in spoilers I guess) what is so horrible about the ending? I read the basic plot outline on Wikipedia, and it seems kinda lame, yeah, but not really offensive enough for the backlash it sounds like they're getting. Then again, Bioware fans. :v I'll probably make my way to the end and find out it's something like Shepard burning the American flag while making out with Harbinger who has taken over The Illusive Man, but until then, could someone give a quick rundown? Just finished Grissom Academy, and I like how there are points where the game actually feels challenging, compared to Mass Effect 2. The arena-ish area with the Atlas Mech/Cerberus engineers where the Biotics are supporting you took me a couple of tries, and felt awesome when I finally killed everyone. And then there are places like Kur'shek (or whatever the Salarian place was) which are fun in an entirely different way. The Adrenaline Rushing and taking out a room of dudes with your shotgun kind of fun. And the Reaper cue that happens whenever you scan too much still manages to surprise me every time.

What has Andrea ever done? I like her and glad she didn't die. Shot the only competent character in their group. Has dumb opinions about suicide. This. It was the suicide thing that really pissed me off. "Oh yeah just let her die she's just your sister" Or maybe, because she was once suicidal in the same exact conditions, she knew what to do. Except it wasn't. If it was the exact same conditions, if Dale had let her keep her gun, and Shane just left her alone, etc, she would've ventilated her skull with a pistol. People answering phones for a suicide hotline don't tell people to slit their wrists a little bit and then see how they feel after that.

I think the trio was already established as being Korra and two brothers, Mako and Bolin, one an Earthbender and the other a Firebender. Also Toph's daughter is the chief of police in the city it's set in. Unsure about Zuko and Sokka, though. I hope they don't really bring up the crew from the first series, though. Their story was wrapped up perfectly, imo.
