  1. I quit my job and started experimenting with various kinds of drugs, and then I found out the world was ending. It's worked out quite well, all things considered.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuPwhCVBbQw Blue Cassette, by Friendly Fires. Pretty good.
  3. Fall Over. Funnily enough, I got this by Googling 'gentleman platformer', haha.
  4. Wasn't having a single discussion thread for game the plan originally, so that that Index thing would be a lot simpler? Like w/the Halo, Mass Effect, Pokemon threads. Doesn't really matter, but whatever. I'll probably acquire it for the Single-Player, because CoD campaigns have always been funny.
  5. Paris? Yes please. And I figured out why my screen turns blue, and it is really weird. Whenever my screen's turned blue, it's been because I've been killed by a guy who's got a blue-coloured crosshair zoomed in, and he zooms out after he kills me on the Killcam. So... yeah. Just need to not die anymore. Or take the better option, not play Black Ops anymore, har.
  6. I am on board with this idea. /slaps knee

This. Walked to the servo at like 6am barefoot (yeah I'm classy like that) and walking through grass covered with dew is pretty much the worst thing ever when it's cold.
  9. ^ You have done me and your whole family proud. EDIT - Wow... does that sentence make any sense whatsoever? Done me proud? Is that even a thing that can be said? English? Words? Question marks?
  10. About 30 minutes with a punching bag will usually make me feel pretty relaxed. Or at least too tired to be stressed, at least, haha. Then I'm usually in the right mindset to deal with whatever's stressing me out without breaking something/one. >_>
  11. This is perhaps the most horrible thing I've read on these boards, and I've sat through three religion threads. The fact that I'm listening to an obscure band only makes it worse. :ohnoes: Way to edit, Mask. :3 And everything is always destined to be hated. But yeah, the more widespread/mainstream something becomes, the more scrutiny it comes under, the more people hate it. And I would say a good deal of those people are just hating on it for the sake of hating on it. Has there been a 'Haters Gonna Hate' picture/gif in this thread yet? It could benefit greatly from the application of one. Hop to it, whoever the guy is that has lots of reaction images/random pictures.
  12. I think slavery as it has happened in the past is wrong, but... I dunno, I think it could work in a way that's not wrong. Not based on skin colour, etc, but a legitimate occupation. But of course it sounds miles better on paper than it would if it were ever implemented in a way, so yeah. Other, I guess.
  13. @above - Some fantasy authors I'd recommend are Raymond E. Feist, Stephen Donaldson aaaaand Janny Wurts. I can't really recommend any titles by Feist, since it's been a long while since I've read stuff by him, but To Ride Hell's Chasm by Janny Wurts was the first book of hers that I read, and it was pretty awesome. For Stephen Donaldson, I'd say The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant or Mordant's Need, both epic series. Mordant's Need is only two books long, while the Chronicles have three book arcs, the first two consisting of three books, and the final four books, of which only three are out. And, if you're into fantasy with humour, read pretty much anything Discworld by Terry Pratchett. His earlier books are more parodies/deconstructions of the cliched fantasy book, but they evolve into their own universe after a while. Aaaand finally, The Black Prism, by Brent Weeks. It's pretty new, but the concept seems interesting, and the first book was enjoyable. On to what I am reading, Neuromancer, by William Gibson. One of the few sci-fi novels I've actually read, and it's pretty great. And not really a book, but a short story I found to be pretty great was Tim Pratt's Impossible Dreams. It was really nice. :3
  14. District 9 - Pretty forgettable, the only thing I found noteworthy about it was how many of the characters in it I despised. Seriously, it must be some kind of record. Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe - It was pretty great. But, then again, it had Bruce Campbell in it, so that's pretty much a guarantee.
  15. [spoiler=Ep4 Spoilers]Pretty good episode. The only thing I would say against it is that some of the exposition felt a little forced. Tyrion/Theon scene was great, though. All of the added scenes have been great, actually. And I know it's unrealistic, but I wish the Mountain was bigger, haha. And Littlefinger, ffffff he's awesome. "Distrusting me was the wisest thing you've done since you climbed off your horse." Even his walk, I think he was casted perfectly, haha. This probably sounds really disjointed and all, but yeah, I definitely think the show's started to hit its stride, and it's only going to get more awesome. Also, oh man that neck stab was great. EDIT - also, in the very last seen, where everyone has their swords on Tyrion, someone in the bottom right is casually drinking from their mug. Seems like a very Bronn thing to do, haha. :3
  16. Smooth or crunchy?
  17. My game keeps turning blue. D: Any suggestions?
  18. Really enjoying the show so far. All the characters have been casted pretty great, in my opinion. Tyrion is just awesome, haha. And I like how even the scenes that they've added that weren't in the books didn't feel out of place. The scene in ep3 where Robert is talking w/Selmy and Jaime was great, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the book.
  19. Gunz Yo, by Sage Francis. Into Agony in her Body, also by Sage Francis. Awesome songs the both of them.

Designing a brochure for an assignment. Feels like I'm back in secondary school, haha. Still, it's a lovely break from all the boring essays and recordkeeping junk. It's taking me so long because I'm only spending like 10 minutes out of every hour actually working on the brochure, and the rest is spent on Cracked and StumbleUpon. ._.
  21. It's already been picked up for a second season. That's awesome. :3
  22. I just finished reading A Feast For Crows, and now I can't wait for this, har. Loving the TV show, too. Hopefully it doesn't get like cancelled before it really gets going, because the whole first book kinda felt like a prologue to me. D: [spoiler=Might as well use a spoiler tag.]I really want to find out how Davos Seaworth died, he's probably my favourite character if I had to pick one.
  23. Gym, boxing, swimming, etc. Basically just doing something physical helps me get it out of my system pretty quickly.
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cm312ZiIrXU These guys were great at GTM.
