I did it at 10 combat, just bring 400 air runes and 200 chaos runes and rune behind the mushroom. then just mage it tills its dead cut some branches and use home teleport.

Maybe i read that wrong, but it sounds to me like your saying the 3rd age armours are for "newbies", are newbies going to be able to offord 100m+? No what I'm saying is that even maxed out players may not have 100mil, so its a rich persons armour and the only way to obtain it is through clues or buying for insane prices. Look at barrow, best armour in the game atm(to my knowledge) and can be obtained without relying on "luck". I played this one mmo before Runescape and the only way to become rich in the game was to buy money from ebay, have rich friends, or to be insanely lucky with drops. Having a game rely soly on luck makes that game horrible.

That may or may not be true because I know Andrew has a forum account here and I'm sure other people who work for Jagex come here as well. Several of the good ideas on these forums have been reposted into the official forums many many times, and yet still they have done nothing to change/add it to the game.

Thats not listening. What happened with SS is people came in mass droves and spammed up the forums and worlds. So unless jagex wanted to ban them all they had to lift the ban. Thats like maybe the only time they may have listened. They need to stop catering for the kids who can only play for 15 minutes a day and start actually doing something for people who actually play this game and enjoy it. Ok, i agree with you that they need to do more for the long time and higher level players. However, i think that the new 3rd age armour may be showing that they are starting to make armours and weapons for this group of players. As for the ss thing, i only mentioned that to show that jagex do occasionaly listen to the feedback. 3rd age armour being a sign of new things to come? HAH! I doubt there are even 10 full sets of full age out in the game. Now look at the price tag of 3rd age because it is so rare, it costs 100+ mil for a set that may or may not give better boneses.(I have no clue of the bonuses) Jagex is going to cater to the "newbies" and let the veterans go away because they anticipate "well they're going to quit anyway so lets just go and release more crap into the game and make the new players happy". They listen to feedback like once every other year. Phew.... I need to calm down, too many threads with anger going on in them atm. :-#

Some of the best suggestions I have seen on this forum have not been implemented. Look at the Bank thagern designed, that has been out to the public for over a year and a half and yet there is still no indication that Jagex is going to impliment it or even bother looking at it. Another thing is that when a player suggests something Jagex will never use the same design because they want to act like they created it and it was all there idea.

I know what you mean. Look at all the armor and weapons geared for levels 50 and lower. There is over 300 peices of "crap" armor. Now lets look at the higher end of things. There are 6 sets of barrows armor a couple decent weapons and some ok items. Now lets look at quests. Over half the quests are stupid quests like wanted. Lets look at higher end quests. Hardly any since DT and MM are easy enough that a pure with enough money can get by it. Higher level Monsters? Bah TzTok-Jad can be beaten by anyone with 70+ range 43 prayer and p pots, I've even heard a rumour that a level 48 has the fire cape. Quest Rewards. THEY SUCK! Look at Recipe for Disaster one of longest quests in the game at this moment and its only reward that is worthwhile are the gloves. Why couldn't they have made a weapon in there actually worth while? Jagex needs to start feeding the veterans or pretty soon they'll only have a game that everyone despises because the people who play only say "noob".

No they don't. Look at how long the bank that Thagern has designed has been around. Yet have they even made an attempt to do something? Nope. Jagex needs to start working for those out there who are "veterans" so to speak and stop catering to the "newbies" of runescape. How many weapons out there are like a Bone spear? over 100. How many weapons are there that are actually worth using? maybe 30, and even thats alot.

Uhm, might I ask what you're talking about? :-s ~Mr. Devnull When in the wildy you use a fast weapon then to ko the person you switch to a slower weapon like a 2 hand or a Maul. I don't think Jagex did that on purpose, but left it there because it provides some tact to other wise quite boring fights.
