I think on off-topic there should be a new sticky from at least July-September which would be a School dicussion thread, because people post What class are you going into? and What are you doing this year in school? and many people including myself have posted topics asking for advice on year x. The simple suggestion is to just make a sticky thread called like school discussion.

Now that I got your attention, I have a problem with my backyard... its quite strange really. Well, I have a large backyard(more then an acre) and I was thinking that would be awesome if me and my friends could get together during winter and have a snowball war. One problem, the only part you can walk around is a gated area and a patio because the surrounding area, although our property, is covered in a very very dense forest that has had a nice 17years to grow, including weeds the taller then the fully grown evergreens surronding the pool, more than tree branches in diameter, and roots that go down 3ft and then spread out 6ft. There are giant crawling weeds that spread out 5ft at the least and raise about 2-3ft. Poision Ivy the length of fully grown oak trees, and to top it off a medley of a bunch of other weeds. A swimming pool thats 50 x 35ft+deck & patio is OK, but it would be alot better if we had all that space. My dad has strayed concentratedly with weed killer yet the still stand and slashing them down only to see them start to grow back a couple weeks later. Hiring a crew would cost thousands. My question is how can we remove these massive weeds? EDIT: My dad is going to rent this machine call like billy goat and it mows down anything in its path, but I don't think it will work because the roots will probably remain intact.

I'm 14 going into 9th grade, first year of high school at SHP, 12th year of school(no I didn't get held back, I went to 8years of school 1-8 and then kindergarden and pre-k and pre-k(3)).

The real question is would you take the boat... OR the mystery box? Who can resist the mystery box, it could be anything even a boat! Anyway I always take the mystery box but end up with garbage.

Have a nice time, the Mediterrian is nice. But even if I become an important governing politicain and had alots of money to burn I would never never never ever take a cruise, I have a really good stomach for sailing but I'm just afraid the boat's going to sink lol. My brother went on a trip to Europe and they took a cruise somewere around denmark and their boat was getting bombarded with 20ft waves at night. And another time a family friend we know who is a singer went on vacation and she was in this boat that was on the news because it was damaged due to waves smashing into it, she came back without a bruise though.

The test was easy, alot of people were freaking out I got a really good score on the enterance test because they don't use COOP test.

Well I see my grandparents often and I went to my mom's side grandparents yesterday and my grandfather insisted that I take some stuff from his antique collect, some of this stuff was old, some of the stuff was like 125+ years. Anyway, I went to the guitar section of his collect and he mostly had acoustics, I found an electric one I liked and he gave it to me (he said "thats all your taking Mikie???", lol). I spoke with my friend who plays guitar like 4hours a day and knows his guitars and he said it looked like a gibson hollow body but he couldn't tell specifics because I emailed him a picture, he said he'd see it next time he coems over. I looked all over it and couldn't find a brand, then I saw the back at the base of the neck were you can see someone removed the brand/model's name plate(its on almost every guitar). Then I remember my grandpa told me that on of his sons and a friend stole the knobs and that plate for some reason. I'm going to sand it, repaint it, replace anything needed, make it look all new and keep it but I want to know what specific brand and model it is before I do. My brother is a drummer and my grandpa gave him a snare and he found out after he cleaned it up that it was a dead brand and it was worth $500-600. Could it be the same for this guitar? I have the ability to recall information at moments and rephrase it into a formal definition and I got in trouble with a sub in 6th(?) grade once because she was asking question and I was resiting things and it sounded like definitions so she thought I was reading from a book.

I'm very snobbish when it comes to food and as they say you not only eat with your mouth but with your eyes as well, I know high quality food and it is a curse to be picky. Your omelette looks ok, but I prefer my eggs poached or ...I forget what its called but you seat it in the egg stand and you eat with by dipping bread into it. Edit: Anyway, eggs aren't the hardest dish to... (get ready for this bad pun) dish out.
