the 10k lamp is obtained by going to the varrock library and find that diary you had during the 'What Lies Below' quest, only after that you can get the 10k lamp. That is incorrect because I brought him the book and did not get the 10k lamp just Kudos, The 10k xp lamp is obtained by telling him about ghostly robes

Its not one off, every time you get more kudos you can get more experience from the Clerk thats a direct quote from the KB not something I said

thats what it says, not specifically referring to the island. It might just be that they will put which quests and so on give x amounts of experience.

Could some-one post a list of the quests needed, or tell me where you can find it

Going on my assumption from my mining it should take about 15 seconds to mine and drop the three rocks, so in total it should take about 6 and a half hours
