  1. My average gain per clue went up with 2k by this update, my average was 28,000 gp, now it's 30k. Ha... well only did 5 lv 3 clues so it might increase even a little more :)
  2. You know you have been playing too much when you go to a job interview and you answer with; " i'm level 133" when you're asked for your age. You know you've been playing too much when you go to Runefest.
  3. I love you because you don't mind when i grab your behind. Red...?
  4. Ofcourse mine wasn't bugged either! :( Did get a yew and another spirit from my nests though :D
  5. That's right. So far on my elite clues i have only gotten compass clues, scan clues, puzzle boxes and knot puzzles.

    Treasure Trail let down.

That wasn't what i was expecting, i'm happy that they didn't alter the droprate of the old TT items.
  7. Let me start by saying that i'm a hardcore fan of treasure trails ever since TT were implemented. And over the years i have learned that Jagex still hasn't figured out that they constantly give people false hope. Now my rant is not entirely about TT in general but also about how Jagex manages to pull it off everytime. For example, Jagex has promised 150+ new TT items but what they didn't tell us that they would make different versions of different items. Take the teleport scrolls for example, there's 6 variants which each count as their own items, that's 6 new different items. The now tradeable firelighters, 5 new different items. God arrows & pages, 2 items with each 3 variants, 6 new different items. Black Heraldic platebodies, skirts and platelegs, 15 new different items. Ornament kits, 9 different items. We were also promised a common TT items most of the time so we wouldn't just do the clue and end up with something like a rune large. So people expected they'd get just a little more than the regular 30k from doing a lv 3 clue but now they get common stackable TT items worth as much as a rune large. Jagex gives people false hope. Do you see where i'm heading. I was stoopid again and blindly followed what i read and actually thought i'd see 150+ unique items, the time it took to finish it made me believe it even more that this as the biggest TT update ever, even bigger than the first one. I bet i wasn't the only one. Damnit i even tell other people never to rely on Jagex and now i make the damn mistake myself. Jagex surely is ambitious and like to think big but they're making a fool out of their company. They could have just said; "We are working on a new TT update that will give the player acces to 40 new items each with their own variants." or something like that. And ; "People will now also have a big chance of getting one of the common TT rewards in their casket, but don't mistake that for bigger wealth. If that would have been said than i had nothing to say or to be dissapointed about. Oh and why did they had to change the items needed for emote uri clues? They said they'd change the items to more suitable items. I beg to differ the items are just as "hard" to aqcuire as before. They just changed it and i can't think of any other reason than to annoy us.
  8. Oh noes then one day these robes will be worthless as there's a new set of prayer gear coming out one step further than prosolyte. Or isn't it so? Btw should have higher stats for the amount it takes to get a set.
  9. Very, very dissapointing. You still have the same amount of chance to receive one (or more) of the regular TT rewards when finishing a trail. But now, there's a big chance you will get on of the common TT items such as meerkat scrolls, pouches, firelighters, god arrows, teleport scrolls, etc.. All worth crap even them scrolls and god arrows because you can't get them in large quantities. (70 arrows on a lv 3...) Plus they're taking up space that could be used to reward you with something else, even a rune full helm has a similar price tag so you don't nessecarily get better stuff now that you get atleast 1 TT items every trail. But if you don't get a common item you get a rare item, nonethless as i already said the chance of rare items isn't increases. People might actually think it did but that's because so many people are hunting for clues now people are bound to get good stuff eventually. To put it short, getting 70 saradomin arrows or rune baxe from clue is still the same, the only thing where it helps getting one of these common items is on lv 1 clues, 30 saradomin arrows take away black baxe from the clue which is worth less. They should increase the amount of items we get on lv 3 clues to make it worthwhile, perhaps around 200 arrows should do it. My first lv 3 after the trail got me 30k, my average i get on lv 3's is 23k so i don't know if i got lucky there or not but i doubt it. The average one gets from solving a lv 4 is 400k.
  10. Not a new one Das, even if it's not showing up on the tip it tt guide.
  11. Monster that dropped Clue: bronze dragons (5 kills) Level of Clue (If 100% known): elite 1'st part. 2'nd part. 3'rd clue part. 4th clue part. 5th part. 6th part 7th part 8th part. same as 5th part. though the only difference is the digging spot + it's on jatitzo and not on the isles Reward:
  12. I just got an elite clue after 5 bronze dragons.
  13. New teleport scrolls: -Bandit Camp -Lumber Yard -Miscellenia -Nardah -Phoenix Lair -Tai Bo Wannai New Godbooks: -Armadyl -Bandos -Zaros You may now also receive ores and herbs from your clues and perhaps summoning charms (thank god, i suggested this some time ago would be cool if they do that)
  14. Hi nub. I'm refreshing the page every 5 mins to see if there's an update or not.
  15. Hahah this reminds me what a bunch of [bleep]s the bunch at jagex are sometimes. Needles to say noone will probably believe the following but my brother had also found out the dupe trick perhaps even before that other idiot because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. My brother figured out how to create items while looking for a way to dupe items because he knew trough experience that it was possible, he has helped develop some internet browser games and has a college degree for computer engineer. A couple of days later he made a lv 1 account to see if the trick would still work and it did he then started creating a whole bunch of stupid items and held a couple of drop parties. Then word was out by Jagex that they would give a life time of free membership to anyone that would tell him how the trick worked, not a second later and my brother wrote a very detailed text on how he did it, how he discovered it and whatnot but it was send on my account. i have never received the membership nor have i even received a reply from Jagex on that message, also my brother got banned not because he "duped" but because he autoed. I was pretty naieve back then and was convinced that i would get a lifetime free membership. Also i had a very very sad childhood so more lies just makes me more mentally ill. Regardless of whom believes it, if i ever get my hands on a guided missle i know where i'ma guide it.
  16. Ye it's like they aknowledge they were wrong but they still gave you a ban because they couldn't just unban you, that would be something jagex doesn't do :P
  17. This update is probably going to be very big, i mean the update engine + the new tt items. I really hope it's tommorow :D
  18. You do loose money, if you sell the uncut gems and buy green d'hide you'll get much more crafting exp, you can even sell the green d'hide armor to make more money back. I'd even wait to sell my diamonds because diamonds will soon rise beyond 10k once again and maybe even rubies might climb a little further. But no doubt to sell the emeralds and the sapphires right now to make the best possible profit.
  19. The last thing you should do is cutting them, by cutting them you'll actually loose exp and gp which you could otherwise spend on other things that give better exp, if you're out to get crafting exp that is. I would just sell them all, that's the best thing you could do.
  20. Ofcourse they're worth using, they only costs around 160 tokens to upgrade it to tier 1, which gives the biggest boost of all tiers. I myself have my skilling ring on rank 1 in rough times you can switch between rings.
  21. Ye warped tortoises are the best, they're very squishy though and should actually be taken down faster than normal tortoises as those have more HP. If warped tortoises are too slow for you you should defenitly NOT try the other tortoises.
  22. Around 20k, last time I checked. Correct, my bad :(
