Ge isn't working the way we think it is. Not too long ago i put 100 rune bars on Ge min price, they didn't sell for a whole day and they were crashing, the next day they rised with like 700 gp so they weren't on min anylonger but they were still not getting sold. I did an icestryke task and got another 10 rune bars and instead of cancelling my previous rune bars that i was selling and merge them together to save a ge slot i did just place those 10 rune bars up in a new slot on max and they sold instantly while my 100 rune bars just a bit above min price weren't being sold at all. I then cancelled the 100 bars and placed them back on the Ge max price and they also sold instantly. I also placed an offer on the GE to buy lets say 2x zammy spear, once on mid once on max. (wasn't a zammy spear though, it's just an example) Then the one on mid bought before the one on max... good for me but bad for the one selling it.

So i've been playing since the first months of the release of RS. last bonus exp weekend my PC was busted so i couldn't prepare, i did luckely manage to find another pc (without virusses or keyloggers) where i could play RS a little bit. I Lost exp instead of gaining exp with the double exp weekend as i sacrificed dragon bones on my altar (which gave 10% less exp) By the time i realised it my multiplier was lowered to 1.1% due to the huge numbers of exp i burned with bone sacrifice, i was so angry thius i quit. So now one day before they announce the double exp weekend i signed a contract to work an extra 6 hours on my 8 hour shift, so i probably won't be playing Rs at all. Edit: 3 to 8 september including a sunday, oooh lotta $$$$$ I'm against exp weekends since i'm an oldskool veteran and don't think it's fair for people to level their skills 10 times easier already and then even get a second exp weekend wtf. but i'm not gonna rant about it since that's basically how everything goes, over the course of time skills tend to be easier to train. I'm so against double exp weekends but i try to benefit from them nonethless, too bad the course of events made it nearly impractical and impossible for me to attend the next one. This makes me so furious.

Noone knows but they were actually 3 brothers, 3 great men each with their own charastics. Saradomin only did good, which upset his brother zamorak since saradomin was getting all the credit, if zamorak did something good it went unnoticed. Little guthix was born and he had the charastics and the memories of both his older brothers. Once he reached the age of 16, he received the gift of telepathy, each time he used this gift he growed seemingly older. With this gift he could influence and talk to both his brothers without them ever knowing about his gift. Guthix used his gift whenever saradomin or zamorak would make a mess out of the situation. Guthix was a great man, good nor evil he always remained neutral but couldn't tip the fame his brothers had. But using his gift too many times took his toll and guthix was on the last remaining of his strenght. With his last strenght guthix called upon both his brothers to wish them farewell. When saradomin and zamorak neared guthix they reached for his hands, as soon as they touched magic flew trough all three brothers for the first time. A bright glow was seen from outside the house where guthix was resting his final moments. As curieous as people are not many dared to set foot in his house to see what was going on, but the few who did all told the same story. The three brothers formed a single star which was glowing very bright, they had to close their eyes shut because the glow was just too bright, suddenly it went dark and as they opened up their eyes they saw some dust flying around but no brothers. People than made a pact and promised eachother they would tell great stories about these three heroes so they would live on forever in our memories. A couple of thousand years has past since then, modern technoglogy (updates) is rewriting history (lore) as we speak, perhaps it's not all as we thought it was. Perhaps each story teller added his own little twist to history.... Not as good as yours but i hope it's a nice addition to read :)

It was quiz master wasnt it? He doesnt give one. There might be others that dont aswell. He does give one, but i have yet to figure out what part is bugged, not getting one or do getting one. Out of all the quiz randoms i have received 1 lamp so far :P

I don't get it, the lower your smithing level the more benifit you get from scroll of effiency. And a blastbox is also so... i mean i'm speechless.

I don't know why people say lbs is faster and better trough I tested 200 kills without potions prayer or slayer gear on 200 irons, 200 blacks and 200 steels and on every occassion my whip did more dps. Am i missing something? Edit: I was also faster at killing irons than a lv 138 with zammy spear which was just like me testing and not using potions nor slayer gear (excl super antifires duh)

I receive many from black demons, but then again i also spend many geepees on my cballs :( Here's an interesting fact. When effigies got released i just hit 92 slay, i got 12 effigies going from 92 to 93 slay Then going from 93-93 (90k exp from 94) i didn't get a single effigy (killed loads of strykewyrms they don't seem to drop them) Then in that last 90k i got 7 effigies, 3 on one task (black demons), 6 on the same day. Now i got another 500k slay exp and got another 7 effigies. I actually got 600k slay exp there without a single effigy and it was because 60% of my tasks were strykewyrms and i have yet to receive an effigy from a wyrm. All i'm trying to say is, kill monsters that are around lv 100-200 with low defence and are easy to kill, anything higher takes too long to kill. I receive an effigy roughly every 350 slayer kills, that's every 2 1/2 tasks. Edit: i almost got proof that the droprate on TDs got lowered by ~ 200% Just because everyone i knew that is killing TDs and received an effigy every hour now only get one each day. + people on the forums said the same.

One bar makes 10 darts or 5 knives. High level monsters drop 60% more darts than they drop knives (assuming they can drop knives and/or darts). From runescape.com, i quote; Darts are not as powerful as arrows or throwing knives Darts have an excellent rate of fire. Combining a dart with poison can inflict further quick and lethal damage to an opponent. Obtaining darts is much easier than knives as you get more darts 'per bar' when smithing. While you do not get as many knives as darts when smithing, knives have a slightly increased attack range, and are stronger. In RSC the knive was faster than the dart. This is no longer the case. Yes, you should be using adamant knives instead of rune darts. the only difference here is the pricetag. Why did they change the speed anyway? XD Idiots...

That's odd, you have a skirt, a pair of legs, 2 whips and a darkbow yet only 4 keyhalves? :P i get (and i think many others too) a key half roughly every 1 to 1/2 slayer tasks and a drop like a whip/dragon legs/bow every 10 tasks where it's possible to get a drop like that. Well, nonethless it's better for you that you got better drops instead of keyhalves. Looks at the 6 uncut d stones... Lol that explains a lot, but actually takes away the fact that that tab he showed was pure from slayer drops, some lewt there might be even from the chest, rune legs perhaps? Meh 20 key halves + the rest of that loot, still pretty lucky to get that in 10 days.

Someone mentioned that Jagex employees don't like to work past their normal shedule anymore or anyless than the average person. (i personally love working past my hours, even when i hate the job so much i could kill myself) I wonder then if noone at Jagex wants to work late, then noone of them have joy in their work, otherwise working an extra 1-2 hours every day wouldn't be a problem. That might be the case why most updates are unfinished, noone there has joy in what they do. I'm just saying if it's really the case that noone wants to works late then the head should look for better employees.

And i was already so sad that i had died with my gem bag, man i would really go mentally ill if i'd had bought a rapier and then loose it (i would have lost it as well should i have one as i would then have had one with me at the time i died) First time i died in RS2, luckely my gem bag wasn't that full... Shows really how much thought Jagex is putting in their content lately. Reminds me of a scene from an old movie where an american wants to buy a car from a budget dealers, and the owner (who's indean) is trying to sell him a truck that couldn't make left nor right turns. He said like; "It good car, it take you to destination only straight ahead what else you need?" It's how i see a lot of updates lately, they're okay but not finished. And instead of working on new content and fixing things that aren't broken they should really fix all the small nasty errors they have made over the past couple of years, some are inevitable to occur but instead of ignoring them they should aknowledge them and do something about it asap.

I killed Tosilx in an fair duel back in the days when everyone who was duelling knew eachother.according to himself and many others he was the best duellist/staker back then. I said i was the best, so he challenged me in a duel, he was meleeing i was maging, i smoked his ass. Ha! Those are my memories of old days RS, if i'm not mistaking Tosilx quit for over a year and entirely quit duelling after he lost to me. Becuase we had a big argument about who's the best and i didn't want to fight him so he started to harras me and made himself look like a fool on the forums and everyone read his immature posts, then i accepted his challenge because he was getting the blood from under my nails, i beat him which made him look even more of a [wagon]. (He didn't had the balls to stake me LOOOOOL, and lots of people witnessed the fight, he got iced, iced, iceeeeeed) I didn't felt the urge to prove yet again that i can't loose, bug in the system? 40 def and 80 magic = invincible! He also said i cheated (that i potted... but i was maging okay...), then noone liked him anymore, from being a well respected very good very loved duellist to an idiot [wagon] overnight. So he vanished. I wonder where he is, i still owe him a footmark on his ass and a hand mark on his face. I also pked 2 guys in full rune who were holding a deathmatch once, i was liek lv 30 orso they were in the 70's. Too bad stuff dropped on the floor appeared to anyone back then, and i only managed to get a rune long XD Ps: Tim and Ted bogus adventure equals worst comedy ever. I liked it so much more when the graphics were so simble and the game screen was roughly the size of 3 original gameboy screens. Anyone remember that hole and not remembering me deserves to be slapped across the face with a forehammer. Oh i just remember those idiotic random events, i quit rs forgood for that came back after they got changed (thank god!) So i bought feathers for 99 fishing, then thought to myself the first fish i'll try to catch will trigger a random event river troll, it will attack me and i'll disconnect, then when i'll come back my fishing buddy will act like nothing happened. So i was liek.... NAAAAH... even if i die my fishing buddy would pick up my feathers and give them back so i'll just take all the feathers in my inventory so i don't have to bank. First fish triggered an icetroll, i lost connection and died, when i came back my friend acted like he didn't saw anything. Guess i'm quite the psychic eh? Took the pc screen and threw it against the floor, there.

I always bring my best gear possible because i never die... well i did die not too long ago when i attacked an ice strykewyrm and completely forgot about it, did get my stuff back though but my gem bag had vanished :( This was my first death in RS2 XD

You shouldn't just alter your ways of training or money making just because a lot of other people tell you their idea is better. Their idea might be better for themselves but you had the idea to kill some dragons get some def exp and make some money. There's nothing bad about that idea, surely there are better ways but those "better" methods aren't necessarily the most fun methods. I also do it every once in a while, killing some monsters that aren't a slayer task because it gives some variaty. Iron dragon make more money only (and i mean only) if you bank all the bones they drop. Otherwise you'd be better of killing steel dragons as has been already pointed out, those give pretty decent loot for their level while irons don't. if i were you, i'd continue what you were planning to do. I'd summon myself a lava titan that will teleport me to the lava maze at lv 40 wildy, it's a short walk from there or you can teleport yourself there with the use of ancient magics. Or you could use a healing pet and be in heavy prayer gear and pray piety to speed up the kills. I would high alch drops like limbs and rune meds and anything else that has the same alch value as GE mid. I would bury the bones, with a spear and super antifires it's damn good pray exp! Everytime you get a clue i would go solve it, since the fortress isn't in the wild you could HT. Once you get tired of that, you go do something else which is more fun than perhaps the thing you were doing that gave you this idea.

I had a 6 step elite clue yesterday, a scan map near nardah, then a compass map near nardah, then a celtic knot, then a puzzlebox, then a scan map near gutanoth, then a compass near gutanoth (Both the scans and compass clues were 5 squares apart..., took me 15 mins to solve) I got 191k The one before that had 0 celtic knots but had 6 compass clues, 2 of which were in chaos tunnels 2 of which were in elven lands -.- got me 131k (took roughly 50 mins) The one before that gave me 3 celtic knots, 1 compas, 1 scan and 3 puzzleboxes and gave me 439k. (took roughly 30 mins) Looks like the more knot puzzles the better the reward. But as has been pointed out it think they were referring to the levels of the clues.

I could be wrong but if i recall correctly i visited that place to kill steels and irons before i went there to do anything else including questing. I think you only need to do a part of the quest to get inside the castle, not around it.

Serum 207 is untradeable and un noteable, so if you want to get rid of a lot of it you have to drop it one at a time. Dang i didn't knew they were unnotable, well that's only 1 spot in my bank that i'll never empty. Thanks for the info :D

There's also a place in the wilderness, a much shorter route than if you'd take the brimhaven one, as long as you start in clan wars and take the teleport ruins there to lv 44 then walk a bit north west (past the ice giaints, check world map). Revenants won't bother you there as it's not in the wilderness so you can also safely teleport once you're done. Game necklace (no escape teleport needed really and you have home teleport also) Ranging gear (+anti fire shield!!!) Ranging potions aren't a must. No idea how many anti-fires. Some mithril emerald (e) bolts which have a high chance of poisoning your enemies (and you'll know when you got a poison hit). Some cheap food should you be attacked by a revenant, don't panic switch on prot pray and keep running towards the dragons place. A bob, but don't summon it yet, summon it once you're about to run out of inventory space. Edit: Jarp, and high alch runes! Edit: Hardly noone is ever there.

What are you talking about? It's just as making any other potion, just the best one exp/money wise i think.

Welcome to another one of my topics where i hope to burn some time while other people can do the same thing... This time it's all about why and how certain things are possible in RS. The point is not to try and figure out why Jagex has or hasn't done it this or that way but rather to come up with silly reasons why for instance it's always daytime in Runescape. Guess i'll start (feel free to share your own thoughts on these, i'll write down the most silly and funny ones) Q. Why do we not have skyboxes? A. Because we do not have a sun, therefore water can't be reflected, therefore we can't see the sky (wait, that might actually make sense....) Q. How come it's always daytime in RS? A. Because the sun can't go under for the simple reason that there isn't a sun. Q. How come my tinderbox never runs out of flint nor tinder? There's actually a hole in your tinderbox that leads to wonderland and it has a magical tree growing under it, how the flint gets there remains a mystery Q. How come i can fish sharks and whatnot right next to a shore? A. If they'd been swimming in the middle of the sea you'd have a hard time catching them. Q. Why is it that after so many years, people still find burried tresure, in the EXACT SAME SPOT EVERYBODY ELSE DOES? (Demonsbane37) A. ? I hope ya'll better at this than me XD
