What is a monster, preferably non-boss, that has okay-decent drops with a chance of s huge payoff rare drop? Like metal or black dragons with visage. But not them haha. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this. And, well, I've given up. So what monsters fall into that category? And I mean like, one that you could realistically "farm".

I talked with Sumoi briefly today. Such a nice person! Drumgun, if you ever want to be cool you need to add me in game :lol: I have to say, the closer I get to 100m ACCOUNT exp, the easier I see it to get 200m all skills. Maybe not EASIER, but, likely. I've been averaging 11-12m exp a month, doing very inefficient things with only a few hours a day, not even 7 days a week. It's easier to see how the 200m all skills could be achieved.

Fair play. I'm not on Jagex pay. I will say that my botting point holds, and your view reinforces it. Obviously there is interest in the game if people are willing to RWT or bot themselves a good account. The point of my topic is that common sense is much stronger than silly speculating. Sure, we have had a fair share of lackluster updates, but there are updates. There are also, in my opinion, earnest attempts from Jagex mods to give good updates. I can't be convinced that Runescape is dying, without Jagex coming forward and saying it. Jagex exploring other opportunities to make new games is 100% in accordance with being a successful business. Blizzard has WoW, Starcraft, Diablo and the rest of the Warcraft games. Jagex is different, they only have the one cash cow. Why change that? Why even risk shutting down Runescape? The logic isn't there. There is no answer to the botting problems in any online game. They're just going to be there and it's up to the players to figure out how to best them. I do get frustrated that I can't cut Yews anymore. Yeah, ivy is better. But I like cutting Yews. But it is hardly an option anymore. But what can I do? I can go to remote locations or just do something else. It is frustrating, but I'll take Jagex at their word when they say that they're combating the bots.

In every thread about...well, every thread in Gen. Discussion, users seem to always fall on the old "argument" that Jagex is greedy and Runescape is dying. I defy you morons to prove that. I know it sounds harsh, but here's the harsh reality. You guys don't know [cabbage] about Jagex, it's business model or it's future plans. I'm not saying what Jagex is doing is perfect. But, niether is any other MMO company. Yeah, there is a huge botting problem. Does that mean the game is dying? No. If anything, it's proof Runescape is thriving. You would honestly have to be slow to not understand that. If there are bots, then there must be a demand for the supply. I shouldn't have to explain that any further. But I will. Grog: I have dozens of apple trees and people keep buying my apples. People must like these apples. I'll grow more and see if more people will buy! Maybe not the best example, but if you could sign into these forums, you should be able to understand. If Runescape were going to be phased out, why would they continue to provide updates? Doesn't matter about the quality. You know, this game is the source of a lot of Jagex employees jobs? Phase it out to risk on a new game that probably will never be as popular as Runescape? Of course that sounds logical. Inb4jagexisntlogical. As I said in another topic, if you think Jagex sucks so much and you know so much about business, go start your own business. If it isn't as successful as Jagex, you fail. I know there is going to be tons of butthurt, but if one person realizes that they were wrong about Runescape is dying, then I have done my job. I know there is going to be posts by people assuming they KNOW what is happening. Im just saying you're wrong unless you're on Jagex pay. Inb4butthurt
