  1. With all the tens of millions of GP that you and everyone else has laying around? :P The difficulty in skills like construction, prayer, herblore, etc., isn't in the leveling process but in making the money, which is no easy feat for the average player. Once you have a lot of money, it's easier to make more, like merchanting on the GE. But yes that's also true. I just feel sympathy for the boringness of Runecrafting :/ Why do people always make assumptions such as this? If 99 Construction is so easy to buy, then why do you not have it? I never quite understand that. It is EXTREMELY tough to make the money for those skills. I do not know if it has become easier, but I know when Tripsis went for the expensive skills, it cost her millions upon millions. She had to Runecraft for numerous hours in order to make that money. Maybe the skill itself is easy, but it's not like some players are just blessed and out of tutorial island they just receive 500M on the ground to pay for the buyables, they ALL have to work hard for their money, and for that, they should be commended. Once again, I challenge you, if it is SO easy, then you should go ahead and get it. It can't be that hard according to your logic!
  2. I'm not sure if I ever actually made it against the rules, but the problem was that most of the pictures were in the GE, so I do think it was a looked down upon picture to be taken. It takes away the fun if it is in the GE. It is more fun to find people elsewhere anyways!
  3. A legendary blog is revived! It is good talking to you ingame again!
  4. This is, by far, the best guide out there. I use it daily when Slaying. Thanks you for putting the time and effort into this wonderful guide! :)
  5. Wow, this thread has really grown. I am surprised no one has spotted me when i briefly sign on! :D
  6. Geez this sure has grown a lot! It is good to see all the TIFers still going at it!
  7. This is not correct, to get into the hardwood grove you need only 10% favor But, in order to cut the wood, you need 100 percent favor only ONCE. Try it out, it won't let you cut in there unless you have gotten 100 percent favor atleast once. You can enter with fairly any favor, but what is the point if you can't cut the wood? When I first did the minigame, I got to about 30% favor, then got bored and collected my sticks, and went into the grove. I was able to cut them just fine. Then it varies for person because I specifically remember me needing to get 100 percent favor in order to cut the wood and I was talking to everyone in a clan chat, from this forum, in order to make sure my account wasn't faulty. A couple of other trustworthy members told me 100 percent as well. I am not calling you a liar, I am just saying that I did need 100 percent favor and I am positive of that.

  9. No. Say you have a load of 27 logs. (1 inventory space is for the trading sticks) You would have to pay a total of 370 trading sticks in order to cut and bank all 27 logs. Profit is a little less than a 1-1 ratio. For every xp you get, you get a gp in profit. Get trading sticks through the mini-game or selling some gems, like previously stated.
  10. Check out this guide by Dork. It is a fairly good guide and will help you maximize xp in an hour. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=538066 Have fun with plunder and good luck on those sceptres! :D Other than that, my guess would be that the calculator would be a little off. As you increase, you get more xp per loot, so that the xp would be changing, but then again, the calc may have taken that into concern.
  11. So a Mod makes a mistake? Just report the post again and it will be taken care of? There are always a couple slip ups in the system, it happens.

  13. In Tai-Bai-Wannai (Dunno if that is how you spell it) there is a fenced area. Inside this fenced area, there is a lot Mahogany and Teak trees. You need 100 Percent favor, only once, in order to get into the fenced area and cut the wood. You get "favor" by helping the people in the village. Refer to this Tip.It Guide... http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=taibwowannai_cleanup.htm Once you have 100 percent favor, you can now cut the trees inside this area. It costs 100 Trading Sticks in order to enter the area. If you leave the area, you have to pay another 100 sticks to get back in. There is a guy, I believe he is west of the fenced area, on the way to the General Store roaming. You can send parcels from him. (This means he will take your items and send them to the bank) However, this is not free. It will cost 10 more sticks per log to bank. Then, you just repeat. It is fairly fast xp, but I would recommend doing teaks rather than Mahogany. Teak sell for about the same amount, are much faster to cut, and sell faster than Mahogany. Have fun cutting!
  14. I agree with tripsis. Throughout my time as Moderator, I know that very rarely did I receive a report which told where to move something or something of the sort. You usually have to read and figure it out. Plus, if someone tells you that the thread belongs somewhere else, then the Moderator still has to make sure the user is correct before moving the thread. Either way, the Moderator must be reading the topic.
  15. Well, you usually use smaller texts on previews, so that is kind of an inaccurate representation. I would say those would be fine, just in a smaller text.
  16. I agree. I have been watching the black masks. I give it two days and then it will drop. I see people trying to sell off about 25+ on forums now. Now picture this, there are thousands of black masks out there that people have just as an investment to make quick cash. Unfortunately, most don't know when to sell, so they will hold onto them until it is too late. Since the demand will be lower on the masks, and the prices will drop, then all these thousands of masks will come pouring into the market, which makes supply way overproduced, thus prices will crash. Just my theory. I sold my mask yesterday for about 1M. Now I can just Cook or something and watch it crash and make a nice 500k profit.

  20. Good call, Construction is such a fun skill. :D Congrats on your GWD drops. Only have been once and it was a lot of fun. No drops though. (Can't expect much on your first trip.) I love how people profit off of GWD and put it into some nice skills. It annoys me when they go out and buy a godsword which will drop in time. (And which aren't amazing to train with)
  21. Summoning or Slayer? I am guessing you just mistyped? Anyways, yes I would suggest it. I am also 69 Slayer, so the future of Chaeldar only gets better at this point. Yup, typo (oh great, now I got that "it must have been a typo" song from that smoking commercial in my head...) lol. Stick with Chaeldar until 65 SLAYER. Ha ha, okay. Have fun with Slayer! :D

  23. I like Chaeldar. I am 101 combat, and to be honest, a lot of the tasks are difficult for me, coming from Duradel/Sumona that I have to end up Burthroping which loses me time. The only task of Chaeldar that I have to burthrope is the warped tortoises. I hate those darn things and I have only gotten them once. The thing is, Summoning throws off the actual combat goal. I am technically 94/95 combat without Summoning, which means I shouldn't even be using those masters yet. They are hard enough at a legit level 100 combat, and I am not at that yet, with stats fairly similar to yours. (76 in attack, defense, strength. 77 Hitpoints. (7k from 78)) I would stick with Chaeldar until well over 100 combat without Summoning. Plus, I think until later, there isn't much of a benefit of going to Duradel. :
