That'd be the last thing we'd want, surely? If Jagex were owned by shareholders - and they wouldn't be us because we'd be outbid by giant investment companies - they'd be forced to do whatever turns a big profit, regardless of our opinions. Sure, this update isn't something we wanted either, but public independent shareholders aren't likely to take our side in a debate! It was a mere crappy joke about the stupid updates...

Couldn't every RS player get together and contribute with 5$ each so we can buy a big percentage of the shares in this company to stop them from "cabbaging" up the game? Lol...

AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This game is getting stranger every minute... Seriously... ARGH!!! Unbalanced trades... Bah! I understand that it has from time to time been used for RWT, but come-on... Now i can't even give presents in the future for my friends at birthdays/holidays! God damn it. I love RuneScape, but i'm not loving what is becoming of it. This game is striving further and further away from RuneScape "Classic"... I haven't cared much about the updates this year, i mean, i haven't commented them much. I don't know what's happening! RWT is a problem, yes. Bot's are a problem, yes. But surely there must be better ways? (don't ask me, i'm not going to think up some methods) And what's happening to the wilderness and PKing? I understand that these updates will be great for big clans. But how about us who run around a night here and there with a couple of mates having fun? Bankspace, great. All I'm saying is that, this game is becoming strange for me. It feels like Jagex are limiting our freedom as good and decent players. RS2 is different from RSC, yes, but since autumn i'm sad to say it's going very much downhill (atleast i think so). It's a game, i know. But... I just don't know what to think anymore...

Ah yes, i think 85 ranged before entering there will be perfect. (sorry for this noob question) - but what to wear down there? Or do i have pray pots with me for protect-melee? (although i've played long, i'm not familiar with this... as you see lol)

There are loads more similar to these, about their lives and so on... I think it is pretty interesting that some (foul) parts of gaming communities has created jobs for these Chinese. It destroys the games we love, but at the same time create jobs for these people who'd else have to work in a clothing factory or something (under much worse conditions, although i do not know what these "farmers" earn). I don't know what I'm getting at... (no I'm not a "farmer supporter"!), but just watch these videos, pretty interesting i think. P.S - Again, sorry if I've posted wrong... etc. EDIT - There's some url shown in this video, i would suggest to NOT go there! But the videos are safe ofcourse. It's just some url shown in the video.

Hi. I'm not the most knowledgeable ranger out there, so i thought i'd ask you. I've been thinking on getting 99 ranging lately. I've seen people training ranging and magic in the dungeon below ape atoll. Seems like a good place to train, but i've never trained there. I'm ready to throw some money into red chinchompas. 1: Should i get to level 80 (or even higher?) before i go training there? 2: About how many red chins would it take? (i'm at 1372849 xp currently) 3: Roughly how much xp is it per hour down there? P.S - If there's already a similar thread or some guide, show me! Thanks!

No. I'm an agnostic, so if i would be wrong i'd accept the fact that he/she/it is real but i still wouldn't become a religious person. I do understand that it can be comforting in hard times (i.e. someone in your family died, or so), but i cannot see how you can believe something that is imaginary. How many millions of animals (humans are animals!) have died due to religion X? God... If he/she/it would be real, why do we have so much crap on our planet? And i can't see any form of scientific proof of that god did ever exist? It is a human-make-belief-thing. ----- I am not very well read about this, I am interested about history but not religion. So what i say is completely my own thoughts and not so much from books... "disclaimer"

I know there's many topics about lag+rs, but i've searched and check through pages of "tech and computers" without finding any question or answer... If you know there's one for this, direct me there! Ok, onto the problem. Quite simply, RS lags for me. And it's not that this computer is bad (amd athlon 1.25ghz, 512mb ram...) or that i haven't got the latest Java, because i have Java 6 update 3. I played RS on this computer before i got my own one (it's getting repaired atm), and it didn't use to lag back then. Sometimes RS runs fine, but then it gets all laggy. I've tried using different java's when choosing high/low definition in IE/Opera/Firefox, but it didn't make a difference. Should i try to get an older version of Java back onto the computer? Or what could it be... (it's difficult to be specific about this, because there isn't any pointers to what the problem could be)
