  1. 1: Low budget. http://www.deltaco.se/article.aspx?ItemID=TB-215NOR 10€, i have better things to spend money on than buying 50€ keyboards. It works for me, and doesn't matter if it breaks since it's cheap. I have had a couple of "coffee incidents" over the years, which contributes to my keyboard-choosing. 2: I think it evens out. I usually don't type any addresses since i just click my bookmarks, i often use the keyboard for certain actions, switching between programs, saving etc... You know. 3: 48wpm on 97.2% accuracy @one test. 4: Hm, i seem to get "mouse arm" every 3rd or so year which lasts a couple of days. I am left-handed but i use the right hand for the mouse (which i do with alot of things, golf i play right-handed too for example).
  2. [spoiler=spoil] This isn't the first time you've voiced your outright opposition to Muslims, Joe. On the mosque thread you supposedly opposed it for the location, but just as most people can reasonably suspect, there's underlying feelings. If it's not racism, then what is it? Moreover, a country such as France doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to tolerance of The Other. Just look at their recent treatment of the Roma people: E.U. Calls France’s Roma Expulsions a ‘Disgrace’ None of this is adding up to you? Do the math, mate, or are your prejudices just too hot to look in the face? French leaders are participating in a pissing contest of who can keep "France for the French." It's bigoted and racist. Mosque, i don't think it's fitting due to the victims, the only thing i said was that it, in my view, would be more fitting a couple of more blocks away. I never declared my views on muslims in that thread, nor on this forum as far as i can remember, please pm me where i've said these supposedly "racist" views. This is however not the topic, you always have pm if you want to. I have only read a short note about that roma-camps, i haven't dug deeper into that particular issue. I don't have a view on it due to little info and i don't have time to dig around about that either. And can you please stop trying to insinuate that i have underlying views about certain topics. I don't have underlying views, what i say is what i say, i don't have a deeper meaning in my sentences.
  3. Good. It's not one key-issue to me, but i'd like to recognize those i see when i go out. For instance, if i were a store owner, i'd never let them in, since i want to (again) recognize who comes (obviously, i would treat someone who wears a mask of some sort the same). And lol, everything seems to be racist according to a few people on this forum, this is not.
  4. Might be good to know your power supply before you wander off buying something.
  5. Wishbone Ash - Warrior
  6. ^Seasonic is contracted by Corsair to make their psu's. If you can try another psu in your computer, it would be great (i wouldn't use your server psu to try out). Maybe loan from a relative or a friend.
  7. Lol? I usually like Statham's movies, but damn... That movie was [cabbage]e. What did you like about it? I liked it :P Not much of a plot - sure - but I thought there was fun action, I enjoyed the racing and the ending was satisfying. I liked it when they blew up that women lol.
  8. I do not get how people wear those jeans. They look both uncomfortable and silly (generally revealing just how skinny the wearer's legs are). I can only wear baggy jeans  I have a pair of in between, and i can't wear them. I like loose ones more, but more to the point, i look bad in them. I have quite broad shoulders, so i really look out of touch, think of a triangle but the thin at the bottom lol. Which reminds me that i should buy some new ones once i can afford it, probably some black slacks.
  9. That psu should be fine, it's a good brand.
  10. Lol? I usually like Statham's movies, but damn... That movie was [cabbage]e. What did you like about it?
  11. Traffic - Feelin' Good
  12. My neighbour country and their Köpenhamn beat Rubin Kazan with 1-0, ok on home turf, but surprising. Nice tho. I caught last 20 of Man U - Rangers (came home late), Berbatov really should have played. And damn that break... I saw a clip on youtube, eek. I instantly remembered when i was 12, playing football and broke my leg.

Aye, i really have a lot in common with you people on this forum i feel when it comes to these questions. Empathy for the wicked, yahoo!

I'd rather be able to herd a flock of sheep up the hill and get good value for my work than having my neighbour herd his flock of sheep down the hill and get the same pay.

Certainly, but most of the time it is rather innocent, IMHO. It's certainly strange from an outsider's point-of-view (as in all the over-exaggerated cuteness and such), but then again most of modern Japanese culture is strange [to Westerners] anyway. I'm pretty neutral as far as the more 'hentai' aspect goes, but it's not something I would be interested in, though I don't really believe that it should be punishable. Typically child pornography is bad because you're taking advantage of children, but this is not the case with a drawing that is subjective and may only appear to depict a child when it really doesn't (as in the way it's drawn). However, one could argue that it encourages child molesters when they see the drawing and want to sexually abuse real children. In that case, it could be a major problem. Apart from have trained Aikido since i was 10, yes, my Japanese knowledge is limited. Obviously i don't know anything about this subject, which i guess renders my post pretty useless to start with. Anyways, yes i know it's just drawn pictures and not real. If it's just pictures depicting young girls (not so much guys i guess) "looking cute", no i don't have any view one way or the other. If it steps into the area of sex, in some way or other, depicting under-age.... Then i would have a problem with it. If i were a dad for example, and found my son reading such stuff, i would throw it away. Basically my reason is that it depicts an under-age person in a manner which could possibly turn some on. I read some about it on wiki, and no, i wouldn't be ok with it if it goes to such areas, i do not find it appropriate to combine such age and acts. I imagine i might sound similar to some who wants to band GTA 4 and such games, which obviously has the same discussion about a different topic. I should point out before anyone starts reading in to this, that yes, a no brainer, you would wish for such sick child porn viewers to watch such manga instead. Would i brand this "child porn"? No. But i would find it disturbing seeing a grown teacher and a 12 year old girl going on an adventure, even tho it's fantasy. If it consists of a person with the "right age" but only depicting a under age, then i would not have such a biggie with it. I don't know how to really phrase myself, but i hope i've made my point a bit half clear at least.
  16. No not really, obviously if you had pro-testing equipment it would be wonderful. If you have access to another pc you could try it's psu (and other parts, as long as they fullfill the requirement). What psu is it, model+brand? 85c on load is not a problem. I've had the same problem as you describe in your post, but with bluescreen also, in my case it was the psu (not indicating that this is) - just saying. If you could try your parts (could start with harddrive) on another pc, to eliminate possibilities it would be great. Tedious work tho. How long has this problem been going on and did anything special happen (hardware/software) before this problem arose?

I don't read this manga stuff, but would you mind telling me how explicit drawings and talk-bubbles are? A picture like the posted, have no reaction over it. Are there cases where drawings are a bit more 'obscene'?

Could you link to the article / website that came from? Come on OldJoe you know as well as I do that it was blatant electioneering from both sides. History shows time and time again that when times are tough economically people tend to either blame or resent immigrants (or other minority groups). Politicians in an election campaign will inevitably exploit that. I'm by no means saying the UK's immigration policy is brilliant but Labour and The Tories were just pandering to what they thought people would react favourably to - the Labour policy wasn't well defined and the Tory policy was and is just unfeasable. Neither has a decent solution. The Lib Dems had better (but not perfect) policies on immigration but they weren't populist immigration policies (I really reacted well to the idea of looking at it on a regional level). Yes, i know it's mostly fishing for votes, especially since Labours has had the power for over 10 years. But i mentioned it because immigration-criticising parties all over Europe are growing and growing. I just hope they have an ounce of truth in their statements, and not doing what a [government] party is doing in my country, trying to fish votes to try and shut out an 8th party which will most likely sit in the big house by next week. I like discussing immigration since it's an area that i'm quite knowledgeable when it comes to domestic talk... But let's get back to America i guess.
  19. Too bad for Zamora, out for at least 4 months with broken ankle. He is a damn good striker, such a shame with all his injuries. I think he would have played a couple of qualifiers during the autumn for England as well. Heh well, Man U - Everton! I gave up at 3-1 and thought again "hmm... when are we going to start picking points?". I don't usually yell out when Everton scores, but i did it twice yesterday! Haha, 2 goals in injury time... What the hell is Man U up to. But i say thanks! Yak should have been put on earlier, really need someone heavy in the front. Saw Chelsea - West Ham later on, nice goal from Scott Parker. Hammers could have at least equalised with all their opportunities. Birmingham - Liverpool... Wow, without Reina Birmingham would have gotten 3 points. But still, they really should have scored. I wonder when Torres will start producing.
  20. What is this "meme"?
  21. OldJoe replied to Giordano's topic in Off-Topic
Problems like what? Crime and welfare? And we're not rescuing the world, we're just giving them another opition. I want immigrants to come here and do work their way up by themselves. Already stated what problems. What other countries? I never said lets help Mexico, I said to help American citizens, which if immigrants become legalized, they will be a part of America. What second countries are we helping? You said it's wrong of me to wanting my government first and foremost focusing on domestic issues. I have never said anything about foreigners who become citizens, they have every right as me. I think you've misunderstood. I don't know about Sweden, but in America you can be hardest working person in the world but if you have no skilled trade you got no chance at entering legally. The only reason why I support immigrants is for their hard work, not crime lords, welfare hoggers, or druggies. I support the same thing, but in a different way as i said in the previous page. I support work-related immigration for available jobs, which mostly are in the high-qualified areas. I don't know what the problems are Sweden, but here in America, the arguments for tougher immigration can easily be solved if they gave amnesty. But they still don't want to. Why? Because they don't want Mexicans in their white neighborhoods, in their white country. Just like they didn't want the Chinese to come, the Irish, the Italians, the rest of the world. I don't really understand your point? I don't have any problems being a neighbour with an Italian and an Irish. I didn't answer the posts related to Sweden because I am focusing on American immigration. This discussion doesn't work because we are speaking about immigration in different countries. I replied to your "you racist" post since i'm not ,even tho you think so in your world, with reasons regarding my country. I can't speak about the States since i don't know the facts, which is why i have said i want to avoid going off-topic since it's about the States. --- Quote messed up.
  22. OldJoe replied to Giordano's topic in Off-Topic
Uh, yes. But try to understand what i'm saying, the more people there are, the more difficult it is to tackle various problems. There are massive integration problems in my country, and your solution would be to fly in even more? It will really help, since they are already living segregated. I have already named a few problems that is in need to be taken care of, a governments focus should first lie on it's people, not trying to rescue the world. My country first, other countries second? Yes. Please tell me what's wrong with that, because i can't. And don't let foreigners become citizens? Where have i said that? I don't have any problems with honest working people, i do have a problem with accepting 100k immigrants per year on a 9-ish million population when we already have 500k unemployed. People like you often say "well, how about cleaning workers?", we could start with employing about 10k homeless people into that business before needing work related immigration into that area for example. On average, it takes an immigrant 7 years before she/he has a job. How is it supposed to improve with no restrictions? There are enormous housing issues, which you conveniently disregard. Where are everyone supposed to live? There are a massive demand for new apartments, students having extremely difficult to finding a place to live, new families from other countries having to share a 40sq m apartment on 10 people due to lack of living places. What the hell is wrong with dealing with such problems before making everything even more difficult? UK for example, if everything was tip-top with immigration, why were both Labour and Conservatives both wanting stricter rules on immigration in the election? I could write a massive post on this subject and my country if you want, but i don't think you'd like it, because that would not be about the issues you raised in your first post. If you think that i am a racist due to this, go ahead and think that, but i know that i'm not. I'm not afraid to be called that, because that word is over-used and used-incorrectly, such as in your posts.
  23. OldJoe replied to Giordano's topic in Off-Topic
Haha? What a joke. So you are racist if you first want to take care of your own countries problem, such as housing issues, crime levels, welfare funding and spending, existing integration problems, unemployment etc etc? Ok, then i'm racist. If you are so liberal when it comes to immigration, how come that countries in Europe with more immigration have a rise in political parties wanting to decrease immigration? Surely if you "experience the multi-culture" you'd be more pro it due to knowing it, however, that's not the case. And further by this statement, you are saying that for example, the whole of Japan is racist.
  24. I'd get a modular psu at that price range.
  25. OldJoe replied to Giordano's topic in Off-Topic
Hm, i have been waiting a bit for a topic like this. But as with most stuff on this particular forum it is directed towards America. I'll just say a bit short, i support work-immigration in job areas which needs workforce, mostly high-qualified work. I don't support the loose immigration laws in Europe and my country, and i won't in the coming election. But i won't clutter up this thread with my semi-off topic-ness.
