Revants + Runecrafting = losing items?
Essence pouches are easily replaced if you go to the alternative Abyss plane via Fairy Code A-L-R. So far I have yet to bump into any revenant whenever I go to the Zamorak mage to enter the Abyss. I don't think this is something you should lose sleep over. :D

Alternatives to Rcing deaths
Or: 1. Start at Edgeville and load up on pure essence. 2. Run to nearby Fairy Ring to go to Zanaris/Lost City. 3. Squeeze pass Agility shortcuts. 4. Enter Cosmic altar. 5. Make Cosmic runes. 6. Teleport to Edgeville. This route essentially cuts your running time down by half. You can apply the same idea to make Natures except at #3, you replace it with "Use Fairy Ring code C-K-R".

Where is the nature rune chest exactly?
Chests give OK thieving experience but it wouldn't be a viable method of gathering Nature runes. If your intention is to train thieving, you're better off playing Pyramid Plunder. If your intention is to get Nature runes, you're better off runecrafting them.

Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish
What does that have to do with this discussion? Jagex will take away monster hunting with partners. Isn't LootShare suppose to solve this problem?

Rcing with abyss (wildy update)
Even with the easier Abyss runecrafting, we all now face the dilemma of insufficient pure essence in the Grand Exchange. It seems the new updates has "fixed" the problem of essence bots, yew bots and other bots but now we have to rely on players to mine and fill the Grand Exchange with pure essence. It's too bad we can't just go the one of the Essence Mine teleport NPCs and simply buy essence from them, even if they charge 100gp each.

Pouches.
How does one obtain them? You obtain essence pouch by playing the Abyss mini-quest, which you start in Varrock at the Chaos altar/temple. The essence pouches are member items. Can they be bought? No, you can only obtain essence pouches by killing Abyssal monsters that live in the "Wilderness Abyss" and in the "Fairy Ring Abyss", accessible by using code A-L-R. Can i get all pouches small - large? Yes, you can get all the pouches. You can own all four essence pouches but you must meet the minimal level in order to use them. Can i get 2-3 of a pouch? No, you can only get one of each essence pouch. This is to prevent players from power leveling runecrafting by having multiples of the Giant pouch. I hope this answers all your questions. Regards, Cele

Dream Mentor Question
[/hide] If it worked for us at 85 combat, it'll be a piece of cake for a level 94. Wow, first time being quoted for something useful! Maybe I should assemble a boss tactics guide for a lot of these commonly asked about boss fights like Dream Mentor, Desert Treasure, Contact etc., especially attempting these battles with the poor-man's equipment set up and minimal combat skill requirements. A lot of my tactics is thoroughly researching the Tip.it guides -- quest and bestiary -- and scouring the Help and Advice forum. Maybe it's time to make my first guide...

How to hit 1000 skill?
Maybe you can do Fast Free Airs? Or just run air runes on your own since the bank is relatively close to the Air altar.

Best way to get 2mil?
Paaaaarker has the right idea. There are plenty of ways to make 2M gp and this will depend on if you have the patience to train skills and slowly build up your money by making and selling products or if you have high enough combat skills and can afford supplies to kill and gather high-grade equipment drops to sell. Alching is the most direct way of getting money since you're alching a stack of noted products and it becomes money immediately. All the other suggestions are good ideas too but requires an incredible amount of training and patience to make them worthwhile, especially merchanting. If you don't have the patience to train your skills or the wait around for hours, hoping to merchant products, then maybe you should just move onto a different game. With the current Grand Exchange prices and my ability to make roughly 1K Law runes in an hour, I can make a potential of 300K gp in one hour. This would allow me to make 2M gp in roughly 7 hours but this was only possible after spending countless hours training. Just train your skills, no matter how painfully boring and your ability to make gp on your own will open up.

The rarity of a level 3 with 9hp scythe bunny ears and etc;?
Is there really a point to this obviously pointless discussion? Maybe a mod should lock this before more people add pointless points such as the point I'm adding.

ice gloves?
You'll also need the Ice Gloves for one part of Hero's Quest. I'm not going to spoil it here. Fortunately, you can have as many Ice Gloves as your heart desires.

teletabs
Teleport tablets *are* salable on the Grand Exchange, you just have to worry about somebody buying them.

Combo Runecrafting
[/hide] In my unverified opinion, combo runecrafting isn't the most efficient way to train and here are a few reasons: 1. Combo runes are 1-to-1 use of your pure essence. 2. Even with the Binding Necklace, you'll still need to bring the appropriate talisman with you. 3. You're carrying less essence per run; 1 space for a basic rune, 1 to 3 spaces for talismans, max of 4 spaces for essence pouches. If I have my numbers right, you'll carry a maximum of 47 pure essence per run. As I said, this is my unverified opinion which means I have *not* personally gone out and combo runecrafted for an hour to compare the exp rate to another rune such as Natures or Laws. I hope some of my input will help you consider whether or not to use combo runecrafting to train. Good luck, Cele After reviewing the Lunar magics guide, I believe I'll need to reconsider my above statement. Here's a suitable strategy to Combo runecraft Steam runes: Equipment and skill level requirements: - lvl-82 Magic and access to Lunar magic spellbook for the "Magic Imbue" spell - maximum amount of essence pouches you can carry; for this discussion we'll assume 4 (4 inv slots used) - a large cache of Rings of Dueling to teleport to Castle Wars and Duel Arena - a Fire tiara to enter the Fire altar - a large cache of Astral runes (1 inv slot used) - a large cache of Water runes (1 inv slot used) - a small initial amount of Steam runes for "Magic Imbue" spell (1 inv slot used) - four pouches gives us max. essence per run: 30 (from pouches) + 28 (inv slots) - 7 (inv slots) = 51 pure essence per run, assuming the use of 4 pouches Method/route: 1. Starting at Castle Wars, load up on the maximum amount of essence, assuming 51. 2. Teleport to Duel Arena. 3. Run to Fire altar and enter it. 4. Cast "Magic Imbue". 5. Click on Water runes and click on Fire dolmen (altar) to create Steam runes. (21 Steams) 6. Empty your pouches, click on Water and click on dolmen to create 21 Steam runes 7. Empty pouches yet again to make last 9 Steam runes. Hopefully "Magic Imbue" lasts long enough for you to do this. 8. Teleport to Castle Wars and continue. Since you'll be making Steam runes with this method, you'll be getting 10xp per Steam rune. The reason why I suggested making Steam runes instead of Lava runes is that the Steam runes that you make will power your "Magic Imbue" spell. After this discussion, Combo runecrafting *is* a viable training method albeit a little cumbersome to do quickly.

Am i messed up for good?
Fortunately, Jagex has yet to make a quest that has a dead-end scenario where you cannot go back and try again. If I remember correctly, the two snipers you're referring to are standing in the guard tower/platform. I can't be certain but I think I just ran for the tower ladder, climbed it and killed the snipers in melee range. I may be wrong about this though as it has been a while since I've finished the quest.

Iron Knives (Smithing)
I've never recorded the amount of iron bars I can smith into iron knives in one hour but the best town to smelt iron ore into bars is Neitiznot since it has a 1-click bank and its furnace is next to the bank. The West Varrock bank would be the obvious one to smith at since the anvils are directly south from it. The best way to find out is to determine how many iron bars you can smith in 10 minutes, then multiply this value by 6 to estimate the amount of iron bars you can manage in one hour.

Death to the dorgeshun items needed
Yes, you'll need two full sets of the HAM costume. You can stop by a bank to get your HAM costumes so you don't have to bring both with you.

Understanding & Surviving the RuneScape Market Crash of 2007
God bless the Grand Exchange! I totally agree that it was the middle-men and middle-women that grossly inflated and manipulated the actual worth of items. I'm glad the GE is making the lives of many people easier when it comes to buying resources for skilling.

Just hit lvl 50 Construction ...can you help me?
If you have the money to spare, you should maximize your plank delivery amount by hiring the demon butler. This will definitely make your construction training faster at a greater expense.

paying for help 15k per hunter level
Hunting is an incredibly easy skill to train. Just go and read Tip.it's skill guide and refer to the Hunting Location maps for the various animal locations. You'll be flying through hunting levels in no time! I started training Hunting at lvl-55 earlier this week and I'm nearly at lvl-67, only playing 2 to 3 hours a night.

Torch chins
I and a few other players actually has confirmed that multiple hunters catching Red Chinchompas actually increases their respawn rate to the point where it becomes ridiculously fast. It's actually advantageous to have 3 to 4 hunters in the same Red Chinchompas spawn area. Just keep your traps in a tight "+" formation of "X" formation, depending on your maximum trap amount.

Fletching with the Exchange
[hide=spudrow analysis] [/hide] This is actually a pretty good analysis! Since I plan on getting lvl-99 runecrafting, the methods you describe are within the scope of my training style. It looks like it all comes down to the matter of maximizing net profit or minimizing time spent. Method A definitely maximizes net profit since the cost of yew logs is about a quarter of magic logs. Method B minimizes time since you'll fletch and high alch 12K fewer bows. Considering money verses time, Method A is much more advantageous since you'll have higher net profit and you can use that money to fund another skill such as construction, herblore or smithing.

What is needed to destroy RWT
Believe it or not, there really isn't much Jagex can do about RWT in the physical world. They're only jurisdiction is controlling RWT in their game. IEEE Spectrum - "Playing Dirty": Automating computer game play takes cheating to a new - and profitable - level Everyone, read the article. If you're wondering, the IEEE is the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, which is an internationally recognized organization of professional engineers. This article describes the issue of RWT and how it is done on Ultima: Online. The article won't tell you how to do it yourself but it describes the ingenuity of one man who managed to hack UO and make loads of money from it.

Is the Grand Exchange Fueling Deflation?
Why? Because the prices you will now BUY for are equal to the prices people would SELL for. There is no longer a middle-man merchant driving up the prices. Thank god for that! Good bye middle-man! *walks away, grumbling about stinky merchants making item prices ridiculously high only for their own greedy gain* Merchants are all middle-men (-women) that constantly drove the price of resources and other items to ridiculous heights to the point where Jagex had to introduce a game system that would put some reins on the chaos. The lower prices is probably Jagex's attempts to controlling the influx of real-world traded gp; lower item prices would have the retroactive effect of decreasing the need for huge amounts of gp.

Selling red chins at exchange
Wow, that's a good price! Then again, I'm only starting to catch Red Chinchompas and I don't even know their price before the Grand Exchange was released. Plus, I'm planning on keeping all my Red Chinchompas for Range and Slayer training. I need a more consistent source of range ammo instead of relying on Cyclopes dropping black throwing knives. Dont use red chins for slayer, sell them to buy some arrows or knives. Seconded. It will be a waste of your hard earned chins. ----------------------------------------------------- As for the topic poster. It would be nice if you just went to GE and did a slight price check yourself. It's kind of hard for anyone, who hasn't checked in the past 10 mins, to be exactly sure of a price especially since they are "ever changing".. Selling Red Chins on GE eh? Would it be reasonable to buy mithril bars on GE so that I can make them into knives? I find mining incredible boring and smelting tiresome, even though I want to level up my smithing.
