Seems like Hazelmere was trying to send a signal to his gnome pilot perhaps for a quick but fruitless bailout. As for Glouphrie, will have to chack out his story line again.

I was so stunned to see the demise of the Warriors and Slayers that I didn't notice I was being attacked. My HP had got to 17 before I jumped back over the wall. My topic is that just before Hazelmere died (got cremated to ash in fact) by Lucien, he said something like. "It was written this way" or "this was foreseen and couldn't be changed." Cryptically suggesting he knew all along that they couldn't beat Lucien and his army. Just before he died there was a scene where he opened his fist and in the palm of his hand was a sort of seed or orb which began to peel or open slowly. The scene changed and pow! RIP Hazelmere. :o The hat slowly sinking to the ground brought a touch of slapstick but Hazelmere is no more. :shock: Is there any significance do you think to what he had in his hand. Does anybody know what that was?

Well it could either be a mistake by Jagex, or you don't have some levels demanded for the quest. Hmm, I guess.. If anyone receives this letter who's stats are worse (atleast most of them), please pm me! :D I sided with Lucien and obviously did not get the message. I have a terrible memory on quests so I looked in my quest log and it reminds you what you did. (Sorry if you already knew this but I know not everybody does). I remember waiting for the king's messenger after ME ptI, but didn't speak to him. I think I was law-running (Ah! good times :boohoo: ) and because it was so busy, or I jumped into the altar at the same time, I didn't speak to the messenger. This may have happened to you and you didn't realise. When the new quest comes out the quest log will tell you if you have got the message but the chances are you will be able to start without it. (Hmmm guessing now). Just to say TIPsters are the greatest. This is the most fascinating discussion for a long time. =D> Dragon Kite FTW! :thumbsup:

Here's my input: 1. Not a big fan of minigames or clans but it sounds interesdting enough to investigate. 2. Thanksgiving; ya, whatever. I'm English and I understand the holiday. GRANDMASTER QUEST; what's a grandmaster? high skills? high QP? I'm intirgued, but my theory is a series of quests leading up to number 150 as a kind of grand finale (hopefully with fireworks lol). Just ran up the 'slippery steps' and had a scout about in the lair place with the anvils and dragon heads. The tracts on the floor run out of the forge and into the wall and there seems to be solidified metal - not sure what colour it represents though - blurite or even adamantite. Could be mithril as the dragons are stomping about upstairs. Looks like an interesting month. Hope I have the levels to go for the quest though.....

Camping at Aviancies is completely pointless unless you are power-ranging (Power Ranger lmao). As someone just said, you would leave too many valuables behind. Bones to peaches works well with decent armour. i expect to stay for 2 hours at a time and come away with probably 200 bars and 100k in alches as long as I'm not competing for kills. Bars to kills for me is usually slightly less than 1 bar per kill. Did I miss something? does ROW reduce your chances of bars? :wall: BTW; Granite shield -8 range attk, +65 defence, DFS -5 range attack +72 defence. Assuming you can afford......

I'm waiting for the dogs to be part of a quest, just like cats. I personally have a spotty dog and a black [kitty] :shock:

Had a level 3 clue in the bank for about 6 months now. My personal view is make the clue drops rarer and the item rewards better. Then you know it's worth the time out. Just my opinion.

I read somewhere that there's a guy who will exchange your summoning pouches and scrolls for shards or cash - shards I think. Who is it and where is he? I imagine you lose out on the deal but is it better to do that than alch the pouches? Any answers much appreciated . :)

You should use zammy chaps and a granite shield instead of Torag's and unholy book, it'll give you more range attack AND more defence bonus. Win-win scenario. Sir, i beg to differ. It's a trade off between range attack and defence bonus as follows: Unholy book; +8 range, no defence DFS -5 range, +72 defence Granite shield; -8 range, +65 defence Sprit shield 0 range, +52 defence, +3 prayer. It's true to take into consideration tanking or praying, but it's also true not to forget the quality of the bolts will increase your kill rate. Qeltar has an excellent guide on his website. Personally I use unholy book and pray bonus armour. Finally, don't act like a noob in there! If somebody has marked out a killing territory, be polite and move over. (sorry - ranting a bit due to ppl coming in and cramping my style).

It's a bit like saying the MP3's on my ipod are not tangible. Can the theft of my music be regarded as theft? I read somewhere that although you can insure the music player, insurers are refusing to insure the contents i.e the music. I was curious to determine whether proof of what was on the player was the problem or the fact that MP3 is not tangible. In the same breath, the judge regards virtual money and items as really existing but in the end they are all the property of JaGex and not the person who created the character. Pressure? What pressure? The skillers I know play the game because it's fun, not to serve the PKers. Prices for our products went down when PKing ended, and we still played. They'll go back up when PKing is re-instated ... and we'll still be playing. If they make it worth our while, PKers will get what they need. We'll just shift our priorities for production. Those stones are hot air balloon landing pads from An Enlightened Journey. After you complete the quest, you see balloons tied down there. YEP :thumbsup:

I did Aviancies from 75 to 83 Range and my method was to use the best Range armour possible and pray. This was my typical set up: Sara Coif Black DHide body Black DHide legs Snakeskin boots Accumulator Zammy book Barrows Gloves Ring of wealth Holy wrench in inv Rune XBow Mith bolts 3 x Range pots (4) 6 x Prayer pots (4) about 5 Swordies 300 Fire runes 100 nats. You need the Sara and the zammy to keep from being attacked by other monsters. I always visit the O'oglog pools / Bandos pool before i go. This set up will usually yields about 150-250 Addy bars and 100K in alches. Total cash 560K less ppots (42K), call it 500K profit per trip lasting two - two and a half hours. I buy mith bars and make my own bolts which comes out of the profit. (Which incidently was enough to buy a DFS :D )
