I'm going to graduate next fall with a B.A. in History. I plan on going on to grad school for my Masters and Doctorate which I will then turn into a professorial job :shades:

Also, you can add a carbon filter attachment to any waterpipe (I won't provide any links or details, you can look on your own) to filter the smoke even more than the water already does. It uses similar carbon that fishtank water filters use.

I love watching a well-executed hit more than a goal any day. Wild are still runnin' Wild which is good to see.

Screw that. It's like 5F here in the mornings. I deal with the cold all day, last place I want it is in my shower.

Nihilistic would be a better suited word there. Sorry, but seeing "happiness" dangled in front of me like a carrot makes me wonder what we're all in this for. I don't get why, according to "hard working" capitalists, quality can be nothing more than a facade. I would much rather build than embellish. I'm confused as to how nihilistic applies to the mall setting.

I've never stepped foot in American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie, or Aeropostale in my entire life and I'm very proud of that.

I mean the idea for the movie was good, but Danny Boyle's acting was just so UGHHHHH at times. His indie-relationship with the one girl was obnoxious. And yeah, the third act was pretty sub-par. Wait. What. Danny Boyle isn't an actor, or at least not in Sunshine. Ah yeah I just checked the IMDb quick because I didn't know the guy's name off-hand. I was in a hurry :P I meant Cillian Murphy!

Life changing experience? Reading Brave New World and seeing Rage Against the Machine live in concert in the same month. I might not have the same views I did as an angsty 17 year old now, but it diverted me away from normalcy that's for damn sure.

I still follow the counterculture's idea of what a "drug" is. Drugs are bad for you. They harm your body. Alcohol, nicotine, heroine, cocaine, and other harmful substances fall into this category. Do I use drugs? Absolutely. I smoke cigarettes and a drink alcohol in large quantities, but it is my choice to do something that harms my body. "Dope" is not a drug and is not harmful. Dope refers to LSD, peyote, psylocybin (mushrooms), and marijuana (among other hallucinogens). These drugs do not cause physical harm in and of themselves. Does it put you in an other-worldly state? Yes. Do you get lazy and want to do nothing but play Xbox, listen to music, and eat Cheetos? Yes. Does this go against the Puritan work ethic that America values? Absolutely. The resistance to marijuana legalization is slowly waning. Just this year Gallup released a poll saying that for the first time, 50 percent of Americans think the U.S. should legalize pot.

Sunshine (2007) It was interesting and very visually pleasing, but the plot left something to be desired. I'd recommend it though.

Not to be a debbie downer here but good chemistry and liking someone doesn't always mean a good relationship. If you're not sure you want to be in a relationship then don't be in one. It's a mistake to commit to something like that unless you're totally on board with it.

The Sun Also Rises could be loosely considered a sequel and is a much better novel than A Farewell to Arms. But changing it up is probably a good idea.

Well that was fast. I was a little skeptical of the whole book until the end. What did you think of it??
