Heading out to my friend's house to work on a platform that will have around $600 worth of fireworks mounted on it. Then we will be manufacturing home-made explosive devices from taking apart mortar shells. It should be a blast....no pun intended :-P

Same boat here. I teach a high school drum line in the area and it is a blast. I will be headed back up to school in the fall and can't wait to start getting lessons again. There is going to be a drum set ensemble course that Music minors are allowed to be in and I am pumped. Seven drum sets!

You are projecting the democratic definition of a leader onto all leaders. I do not think what he is doing is right, but he is effective in the same sense that many eclectic dictators are.

They are not nearly the same. Good is subjective. Effective means the leader does what he wants and accomplishes his or her goals despite what means are taken to achieve them.

"Good" and "effective" are probably being confused in this case.

I think there was a thread over in RS General or something that was attempting to get all fifty states represented by forum members. I know I was on the list for WI. I have not seen the thread in a really long time.
