I smell a possibly awesome story. I think his point was that they were lamenting over a situation that isn't that bad and that shouldn't be cared about. I'm starting to think none of Lent's jokes are jokes (unless I've been the only one in the dark. I'm going to agree with the man who disagreed. I dpostponed my breakup for a couple of days, and it was hell for me. I was in contact with the girl furing those few days though. Leading someone on through a vacation will be tough. @ Ouchy: don't expect the entertainment around you to suffice. If you're going to be in a relationship with someone, you want to be able to BE the entertainment.

You misunderstood what he said. Learning from your upbringing and learning from your parents are two completely different things. He happened to learn from his parents, it's not everyone's case. Get them cut, the shorts I have are white jeans I fell in mud with. Any tailor/cleaner will do it for under 15$, and if you're feeling adventurous, you can do it yourself (always cut lower than you want them to go, you can fold and sew them as high as you want but once they're cut they won't go any lower).
