  1. Napoleon had to fight against the Russian people. Here, they'd welcome Germania as liberators, considering 90% of the Russian population has grown up learning to hate Britannia and the NWO thanks to the cold war between the EA and the NWO (the other 10% would be old farts who were alive before WW3). Napoleon would've killed for that chance And wouldn't the population growth decline if you lost 6 million people? Less people = less babies. First off, calm down Sere. I want to postpone the war until Arch gets back, too. But calling Dusty names isn't going to help anything. And Dusty, yes i do have less people. A lot less people. But my people are bred by machine. The population is a fixed number that I can alter at the flip of a switch. I'll be back and stronger in number in roughly 13 years.
  2. Dusty, I thought you were avoiding attacking Russia in fear of a Napolean repeat? We'll see how that plays out. I'm sending a Carrier brigade (4 carriers and a destroyer) to Qyella to colonize it. These transports will be heading to the coordinates relayed to them from TerrAvenger to ensure accuracy. Loaded on these transports include a few hundred thousand people, cloning materials, farming materials, and some digging units. I'm gonna have to flatten some land before it's as usable as I want it. ETA 3 years. Mars reconstruction is near completion, boosting my previous ship production rate from 4year carriers to 3 years and 7year destroyers to 5 years. Population incline has increased slightly by this year alone to compensate the 6million lost in the Congo raids.
  3. Kill...Smurfs... How many smurfberries are worth the price of one smurf's life? I swear, this season is geniously funny!
  4. Qyella sems like a good choice, with its proximity to Zhoreuc. Now just how mountainous is mountainous? I'm not too familiar with the Andes, but if the whole planet looks like a giant mountain range, I may have to reconsider.
  5. I'd really like to help the war effort, but any people I send in would be like sending troops to their certain death. That and war isn't really my thing. I really should colonize some more planets. Are there any more Earthlike planets lying around somewhere? I'd even settle for a mountainous one.
  6. I used to think like that. Then I realized how fast the world around me moves. Get crackin' buddy.
  7. Been there. Done that. I thought we proved planet crashing was dumb when I tried it two days ago and no one cared. No? Also, can someeone explain to me why Rocco and Grim are arguing against each other? Aren't we all NWO? How exactly did 92 odd million people just die in Britain alone? Don't people realize how friggin' enormous the economic and morale effects his is going to have on EVERYONE?. That seems like a rediculous number for one year. Futuristic war or not.
  8. Um. Yes. That'd be a clear indicator that if you were to kiss her, you would not get slapped. You should now plot a way to make this happen, and kiss her. And not get slapped. Have fun Oh, and sorry for the heeby-jeebies Reb. I am weak, I didn't mean to imply that all males are.

I've always wanted to go to a legit rave. I've never wanted to refer to anyone as a "broseph" though. hmm... When I move closer to the city I plan on being one of those weirdos that goes to the nightclubs everyday. Party hard or don't party at all . My first rave is gonna be next summer. Going with a bunch of friends to a convention. Should be sweet.
  10. I wish I could help more, but trying to figure out a gamer girl is like trying to solve a rubiks cube. Most approaches that you'll find in this thread are for picking up random hot girls at partys and the like. The girl that you found happens to be a geek. Perhaps she is attracted to geeks? It's not impossible. Or maybe she's one of those confusing chicks that acts geeky, but actually likes tough biker types. Play it cool, and act natural for now. She liked you enough to let you hang out with her, so your not off to a bad start. Usually when people come here they've already dug themselves into a hole. As for remembering her name. If you haven't already here's an "okay" way of buying yourself time: Come up with a pet name (and for the love of god, don't call her by her screen name). Just call her "babe" or "honey" or something to that effect. Whatever you feel comfortable with. And try not to lead to situations where you'd have to mention her actual name until you KNOW you know it. Nothing is worse than fogetting a girls name and letting her know it. Keep it calm. Stay calm, cool and collected. Deep breathes if you must. Maintain yourself. And before ypu give yourself (and me at this point) a heart attack...figure out a good way to contact her. Please.
  11. You didn't see it, but you might have heard the sound of my jaw dropping. Both at the fact that a beautiful girl plays WoW and that you FORGOT HER NAME. Christ dude, I hope you remember how to find her, cause you got a good thing going. I wouldn't say you're dating yet, but I see it as a definate possibility. Get to know her. NOW. Don't waste your time on TIF. Come back if you have questions or need help, but for the love of god, find her!

This. This... Just disturbs me on so many levels. It bothers the hell out of me. I'm a pretty settled and calm guy, but cheating really just scews my demeanor. I start raging just at the thought of it. It legitamitly makes me sick. Like I want to throw up when I think about someone telling someone they love them, and turning around and cheating on them. It's disgusting. And I see it WAY too often in today's kids. It's like everything is mandatory to be a teen drama. They cheat on eachother out of boredom. It's awful. It's dispicable. And I hate it. Someone needs to teach these kids honor, respect, and loyalty. NOW. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEVPoo0kOa4
  13. Duh? Just because everyone here's a guy with girl problems doesn't mean that if girls were here they wouldn't have the same problems (but... I see where you're coming from. Girls getting "friend zoned" problem happen less because society dictates that the male make the approach). Nuh its cause I always see vids of guys getting friend zoned and I've never thought of guys having their own friend zone. my friend zone is basically 'cool but not hot,' it's probably the same for other guys Yeah, that's pretty much my standard for the friend zone. If the girl is even remotely attractive, there's always a chance to escape it though. Not a chance many guys get. Kinda makes me paranoid though. If that's how I justify the friend zone, who's to say that's not what girls do? That makes me question my attractive...ness(?). I guess I'll keep convincing myself girls don't care about looks as much. And yes Dan, my quote was pointed in your and Istolethepie's direction. But I supopse it's irrelevant to you now.
  14. I'm going to take this chance to defend Ross in this argument (and not just because I like him) Helios Spheres. 35m diam. armed with 6 "randomly" fired ARC cannons. Thrown into the midst of a HUGE battlefield in an attempt to mess with enemy advances. The fact that they would harm friendly units was brought up. I can see perfectly within reason why, but again this calls into question the actual basis of the nations "specialty". Ross's nation is comprised of rediculously advanced humanoid machines. The programming in these things is proposterously complex. So why cheap out om the defensive weaponry? Even today (in fact like 60 years ago irl) we have guns that are programmed to not fire when a propeller swoops by the muzzle (see pic of WWI fighter planes). It's perfectly within reason that Ross could have programmed the Helios spheres to not fire when directly pointed at a friendly unit without obstruction. If something it doesn't recognize passes it, it will fire. If Ross's unit passes it, it won't fire because it recognizes the similiar programming. It's certainly not impossible. There of course could be some error. But only as much error as a computer. Which is to say, very little. And for clarification on the map: Doom is not in control of Zimbabwe/Mozambique/Malawi, she is merely occupying them. Correct?

Okay, new for the thread again (I should really just edit first post but, whatever) My science class is conducting a study on those taking the nasal inhalant version of the H1N1 vaccine. We're making surveys, collecting data...going the whole nine yards. Unforutnatly, I was volunteered to be the class guinea pig. Looks like I'll be getting vaccinated after all. I hope there aren't any adverse effects :fear:. I also heard there's a significant chance of memory loss after dosage. This could suck. Well, if I suddenly stop posting, everyone here will know why.
  16. Wow Arch, you really don't understand me at all, lol. I get hot headed and threat-y yes, but overall the point of my nation is to maintain a world order of peace (despite my fuel to the fire of war). If NWO and Doom are discussin peace, who am I to screw that up? Somehow I just went from tag-along nation of the NWO to head operator in one rant.

I just heard a new theory that the H1N1 vaccine actually doesn't do much at all, and that we probably won't need one next year unlike any normal flu shot. Supposedly, the Swine Flu vaccine is just an attempt to stimulate the healthcare bill or something to that effect. This I don't believe so much, but I still don't trust the vaccine.

That's another problem with kids these days. If you're younger than 16, you really don't belong in a relationship that goes further than kissing. And 16 is pushing it. (get it? :P)
  19. You know what the best way to tell a girl that you're not interested in that fact? Invite her over. Tell her to bring a friend. You yourself bring a friend, regardless of gender Watch the movie "He's just not that into you" Complain to your buddy how annoying it is when girls don't take the hint. Problem solved :D
  20. Nothings happened. We found a nwe program, and we may have to re-do our homelands. The end.
  21. Holy crap! what? First of all, my civilians are "programmed" to not rebel. Against me anyway. If they were rebelling against someone else, I assure you more than 6 million got violent. Everybody would get friggin' violent. EVERYONE. About a decade ago I put out mandatory military training for all able bodied citzens (which is nearly everyone due to age defying genetics). Yes there is a lack of weapons, but my iron fisted police force (enforced with a fair share of LAARTs) would be more than happy to supply. And for Christ's sake who even invaded me? Doom? Really? What did I do to you? You can't just storm through my country and expect no retaliation. Lack of army or not, this is not the last you'll hear of this. Can someone explain to me exactly what I was just hit with? You're part of the NWO. The NWO is at war with Brazil. I don't really understand how you're shocked that you would be attacked. Also, how do you "program" people? Furthermore, if I recall correctly it was Britannia, Jerusalem, and Malaysia that had a civilian military training program (as well as myself, but I've had that for half a century at least), not Kamino. Also, hehe. I don't think your police force would have the weapons to supply 6 million+ people. And it's not like the Brazilian troops in the area are just going to let a bunch of giant "Rifle Giveaway Stations" to operate freely. Also, Arch. I don't think we should have a AM and PM turn cycle, it just makes it too hectic since everyone's hampered by time constraints (a lot of us live in different time zones, so we might actually be sleeping through most of a turn). 1 per day seems good. I see where you're coming from, but here is my counter argument: 1. Yes, Brazil is at war with the NWO. Why? Over Russia. I took Russian land on Mars, yes. But otherwise I'm only guilty by association. I've never harmed Brazil in anyway in the entire history of the game. Infact, quite contradictory, Brazil has a history of actually helping me. Just cause I associate with the NWO doesn't drag me into the war automatically. 2. How do I program people? Simple. This is actually the basis of my nation as a whole. It's called hypnopaedia. I've explained this once or twice before, but in brief it pretty much brainwashes people from birth into thinking in a very specific way. This is why even though they work so hard at such low cost, they do it perfectly happily. They also happen to love my goverment sytle, and will freak out like a kid with down syndrome if anything in the goverment suddenly changes. They don't handle change well. But they follow my exact word without second thought. 3. Civilian training. Again, hypnopaedia. I've been slipping military training into the basic hypnopaedia of my popluation for over a decade now. I actually started when the thread was about to die and we were all chanting "war to end the thread". So, yes my citizens were pretty well comprehensive in the field military tactics. 4. My Police Force doesn't have 6 million weapons. This is very true. However, there are a good number of them, especially after what happened during the Scientific Civil War about 40-50 years ago. Also, you have to consider that being a factory country, I constantly am producing. Producing what? Well, for the past few decades I've been pumping out clones like it was my job (oh, wait...it is). Who do you think arms these clones? Sometimes it's the buying country...sometimes it's not. I find it hard to beleive that there weren't a few thousand guns lying around on the local conveyerbelt. Again, it isn't 6 million...but you piss off an entire nation on a lunatic rebellion spree...everything becomes a weapon. Anywho, Madagascar seems to be the new safehaven for my citizens, and the goverment has advised those in high risk areas to retreat there for a while. Most won't listen. They like their jobs too much.
  22. @ Latino Good idea! See? You didn't even really need help. @doc_roe Great book. And yes, it IS scary how true its becoming (can you believe it's almost 100 years old now?) @Lent Good advice, all very true. You know alot for your age. @Deathdrow Me and you shuld have an "I hate women" party sometime. We can reminise about all the crazy BS we've been though. @Kinggabe Good stuff. Although, try to make her respond positivly next time ;) ...did I miss anyhting?

  24. I finished watchingthis a few hours ago. Brilliance. Sheer and utteral brilliance. It may have taken an unorthodox turn at the end, but for the sake of the series ending...it was a wonderful finale, and I thank everyone involved for sharing it with us. :')
  25. Yes, one could simply just shoot you with a moderately low tech gun. That would kill one "person" yes. But with the heat ray, one could dry up hundreds of your aquatic race at a time. And I doubt a cloned offspring can survive that kind of intense heat either. It's a weapon that's pretty much anti-you. Nothing personal, but NWO has to stick together :P You're not the only one that has a weapon designed specifically against them, so don't feel to bad.
