Global Warming is happening. Al Gore was right in general, but his graphs and data were a bit skewed. None of his data ranged further than 650k years, which is pretty much nothing relative to Earth's existance. There's no denying that we humans have an effect on Earths temperature. But its really really insignificant. The famous "off the charts" graph that Gore used in "An inconvienient truth" didn't tell the whole truth. Yes there was an increase. But the graph was so far zoomed in that it made it look a hell of a lot bigger. If you took Earth's entire temperature timeline, it would barely show up as a blip, if that. Global warming is real, but I don't think it matters much. Infact according to these guys, it's a good thing: www.C02isgreen.org

Are these aliens the same aliens that crash landed on Earth some 150 years ago? If so, I have fairly good relations with them. Also, more importantly: @Archi Everytime I click one of your links from esnips, my computer gets a false adware alert, crashes my IE, locks tskmngr[Caution: Executable File], and then actively locks up any application I try to open including the simple things like MSpaint and all of my anti-virus programs. This has happened three times now, and I'm starting to think that it's coming from esnips. I would apreciate a soultion to this problem, because I'm sick of running my OS in safe mode just to do a three hour scan :/ And OT: I have officially claimed pretty much all of Met'Al as of pg. 255. If you have not claimed a planet in the system prior to that page, then you will have to barter with me to get some space. I'm willing to lease it out. All land claimed prior to my post regarding this subject on 255 stands as is by the owner.

Archi, I will join in your little nation gas-station deal thing. My ships need to rest, too! And as for the Met'Al system, after reviewing the planets and seeing that not one of them is hospitable, I am greatly loosing interest in it. If I am mistaken, plese correct me. But it looks like I have political presidence over the whole system? sweet. I preside over a solar system of nothing :lol:. I claim all planets that have not been "dibbed" prior to this post unless objected to.

Each army is 50,000 men. Or women, so I don't sound sexist. Then why tell me to simplify my numbers? each black dot still represents 10,000 soldiers.

I found a guy that was very into promoting his website/forum for Facepunch.com Their a forum sort of like ours, but much more populated. It was an interesting convo. He showed me a lulz picture of him and someone he was talking to, and then the guy in the picture was my next convo partner! :lol:

I'm an independant nation as of the end of WWV or was that WWVI? whatever. I wouldn't give you a planet in Met'Al, but I'd be willing to barter with some of it, if I get multiple planets. Can I get a planet list of the systems again? I need to know which one I'm landing on.

I think I misread. Is each army 50k or is the entire tribe 50k? And we start with 1 army...so I guess that means that I have to wait another 4 years(days) until I make another? Alright. My north army stands as 100% Swordsman. Disregard my East army.

This statement is indeed false. I've actually been mass producing 'Ultra' Battle ships for like 40 years now. It was never my intention to have an army, but when Doom invaded me, I kind of panicked. Now I have a huge [wagon] Space Army and nothing to do with it. I recently mentioned that I halted production of these huge war machines in favor of smaller ones. Also, I was recently acknowledged to have a 5.5k reap of "construction points" per turn. Sweet. I still intend to colonize Met'Al however I have little interest in the mineral laden planet that Rocco is after. I don't want anything volcanic, aquatic or desert-like though. If there's a mountainous planet, I'll settle for that. Oh, and since I'm practically at Met'Al already, I think I get first pick. :) @Retech How long ago did you oder those clones? 50 mil is a lot to produce y'know. I'll put you down for another 50M since you asked so kindly ;)

How the hell did Met'Al get on top of Ominlife? I liked Ominlife cause it was AWAY from everything else :/ I suppose I should put my stake in Met'Al as well then. ...now to pick a planet...

Penguin's spot would be pretty good for Archi. I'd just leave his dot on the map and change the map key to say that the green represents Archi. The old Russian space station is being converted into a second defence station. The old Japanese station will become a first-class hotel. That's a very good idea actually. I'll have to reduce his land size though, although not by too much. @Doom, how big is a Dreadnaught exactly? (in other words, what is it?)

You can't claim land unless people are there. I just moved the people to Unoph under my rule. So...I'm not sure what you said is possible. Also, I'm halting production on my "ultra" battle ships for the time being to focus on normal sized ones. Considering the majority of my territory is a production factory of some sort, these battleships will be pumped out faster than you can say "nu-uh".

As per Zhoreuc agreement, I can not rightfully take Penguin's settleemtn on that planet. I am moving the people he gave me onto Unoph via TerrAvenger. I'll take Penguin off of Zhoreuc in the next map update.

I just flinched when I read the title of this thread. It was a pretty big fad a few years back. Luckily it's pretty much disappeared.
