Just make sure you know the movie you're watching before deciding to watch it with your parents. I remember being at a friend's house once and we (my friend, his family and me) were watching some random horror movie and out of nowhere sex scene. Yeah, it was pretty awkward, specially since it wasn't even my own family. Ermm... Regrets? Not having cheated for the geography test. Dammit, I could have passed it very easily. [bleep]ing honesty. I try, but every now and then an awkward scene just sneeks on in, like while watching Chuck. I watch that with my parents all the time (back when it was on air) but then, BAM sex scene. Same goes for Heroes. Except I had a bit of warning on that one.

I'm sorry guys, I'm just not invested in this as I once was. I'm not quitting...more like taking an extended break. My country's been on more or less autopilot for the past few weeks anyway, so my lack of posting won't make much difference. I'm going through a load of crap (putting it simply) in life, and I just can't handle being so involved in this game at the moment. I'll post occasionally. I'll lurk occasionally. I get like that during love scenes in movies, especially when my family is around. Emotional poetry is hell to listen to. Bothers me to no end. OMG i can't stand watching movies with my parents anymore. The love/sex scenes are just unbearably uncomfortable! EDIT: (woot 1,800 post :D )

Lemja, don't use lines unless you know how to present them. Walking up and dropping lines like a fisherman isn't going to win you girls. You do however have to be calm cool and collected. How do you approach a girl in school that you've never met before? Honestly, without the preceeding reputation, it's freakishly difficult. I recommend talking to someone she knows that could formally introduce you to her. That way she'll be inclined to give you the time of day. Honestly, she could very well just ignore you if she doesn't know who you are. And that would just be awkward. I don't mean to scare you by saying that, but i for one would be a little weirded out if a complete stranger walked up to me in the hallways and started hitting on me (especially if said kid isn't known to be extremely flirty or outgoing, which I'm assuming no one on here is*) *truth may vary between "gurus" and "lurkers"

Ended up with a 65% on the project. Kinda disappointed :| But in other "awesome" news, it seems Karma has taken place and a guy I know broke up with his girlfriend to try and get with my ex-girlfriend. He was rejected, and I lol'd very hard, which felt really nice considering I had just broken up with said girlfriend. This actually occured a while ago, but I only found out about it today. It sounds mean of me, but it's a long story (condensed: the guy is a man [bleep] that cheats on his girlfriend on a daily basis, and has been trying to get with my then-girlfriend for over a year)

I failed at my Spanish presentation, but convinced my teacher that the bell rang before I was finished, so now i get a second chance to get a better grade. Not very awesome, but it certainly made me feel better

Thats all fine a nd dandy Doom, but ecofriendly or not(which I would like an explanation as to how you are "100%" ecofriendly) having factories underground would ruin soil to the point of infertility. Not to mention America was practically a crater before it was built back up. I can't imagine the land is too good there. Bulding structures are one thing, but the farming can't possibly be profitable in those conditions.

You know what would make that story just a tad more confusing/interesting? Hook up with her. Just go in for the kiss. But seriously, I'm in a similiar predicament. Pain from ignoring the girl, or pain from talking to her. You gotta pick your battles. If you can live your life without her, then you may want to encourage her to meet other guys. But seeing as how you "love" her (which to me sounds more like a mutual dependency, or 'teen love') that may not be the answer you want to hear. I say continue talking to her, but be more flirty and such, unless she tells you to stop. She's confused. You need to define yourself, do you want to be the boyfriend and risk losing the friendship, or do you want the close friendship? I can tell you right now, it's damn hard to go back to being "just friends" after dating. The choice is yours.

Being a DJ is fun, but its not a great career choice. Do you really want to do it for your whole life? Besides, it's more fun to party than it is to run the party. It's a great way to make money on the side, but I'd say pick up another career. No one wants a 45 year old DJ hosting their wedding reception.

I really don't believe that c02 is the cause of global warming. It's a natural biproduct from exhaling, but that's why there are plants, to consume the C02, and "exhale" oxygen. It's more methane than C02, which comes from non-renewable resource refuse. I'm sure billions of rotting bodies wouldn't be good for the atmosphere, but it's pretty insignificant overall. In game though, Earth has been way over industrialized, and the ozone is probably got multiple holes in it thanks to all the wars and super factories. I can't imagine there being much plant life left. Oh, and in game I can cure the common cold, due to 30+ years of research with Zhoruec plants. Sweet.

I don't think you guys understand the concept of global warming... In one year, the average temp would increase like .001 degrees farenheit. It takes hundreds of years to pollute the Earth like we did :) Oh, and the ocean levels would rise, but because Earth is an equilibrium, it would only be a matter of time before it became just a giant sphere of sheet ice.
