Not entirely sure. I guess I could see sex as a creator of sentimental bonds, and casually having it can be seen as a callous breaking and making of such bonds. Perhaps people may get hurt if sex is treated without respect? I don't see a problem if both parties agree to have a fling or something, though. Though this is a thread for specific relationship problems, I'm interested on the broader scale: What scenarios with casual sex (protected, etc.) could lead to someone being hurt? If they don't expect you to be there when they wake up, they won't get hurt. Make the girl attracted to you, not in love with you. Force the point taht you're not looking for anything serious.

Actually, all of my sace craft are carefully outfitted with precisely placed AA guns to prevent this very thing (as well as ship to ship bombing). Yay for planning ahead!

That's exactly what I'd do. If we were in WWII era warfare, I'd dedicate my country to war and wipe the floor with the enemy. At that point we'd already have supersonic airplanes, nukes and advanced war tactics. It would be fun, but we already would know what mistakes not to make.

Yes and no. It takes a good deal of planning and research to make a human sustaining probe like I did. Infact it took the majority of the world's efforts to create the first one (TerrAvenger). The second one has now come to be with a few improvements (TerrAvengerII). And there have only ever been these two. To create them takes a HUGE amount of resources, and to keep them selfsustaining certain precautions must be kept, and most humans can't be trusted to govern themsevles in such calaustraphobic conditions. My humans are moralaly superior and can handle the stress. But yes, it will never fail to find something. It may take a while to discover something of importance (~40 years to discover Ominlife) but it will happen. And if you recall, I don't like competition on my tech :P. However if I feel so inclined to make a III, you are welcome to join the expedition. I even brought along Dusty the first time despite our history.

Not a fan of dinosaurs, there Dusty , ol' buddy? :lol: and yes Archi, in very very very simple terms, TerrAvenger is pretty much a probe with humans on it. It's a probe that can sustain itself, along with human life and just float off into deep space to see whats out there. It's how the Ominlife system came to be. That was the first TerrAvenger's success. I'm hoping something of a similiar suit will come of the 2nd model.

When Hegemony V2 ends out of people quitting (it looks like its gonna happen at some point, its a matter of will) I plan on re doing the traditional Hegemony, only on Facebook with some of my real life friends. Should be fun. But until then I'm sticking to V2. I've already invested SOOO much time into it, I'm not just gonna restart/quit.

These numbers are preposterous. Can't we all just play modestly? Looking at the latest Earth map (the one that I loved) I have a strange island off the coast of Madagascar taht I don't know the name of. I'm renaming it Jurasic. That's where my new cloning testing will be taking place. It's still closed to the public eye, and is still under contruction. So, it's not really anything at the moment. TerrAvenger II is complete and will be launching off of Qyella today. Maybe it will have similiar luck to the first TerrAvenger (I hope it has more luck then the previous probes anyway). The difference between TerrAvenger and the TerrAvengerII is a warp drive (standard 50x light speed), plnatiation of "white trees" and a plethora of homing beacons to keep tabs on it. A few satelties have also been brought aboard to keep communication synced better.

I'm working on that. Not having much luck finding a good woman. I could get her if I reall ywanted to, but I can't even find her. Luckily there's a party this weekend I plan on attending, so maybe I'll meet someone there. Hopefully.

Oh and if it makes you feel better, a buddy of mine's brother didn't have a girlfriend until he was 19. Then he started dating a Brazilian Model (I'm not even joking, she was smokin' hot) and I'm pretty sure they're still together, and it's been like 3 years. So, don't worry about the age thing. I guess I still do. I know for a fact that I never want to be in a relationship with her again. But everytime we're together we end up hooking up. So it's all very messy and confusing. It's not so much the talking to her that makes me miserable so much as it is the fact that her attention and affection are now recieved by another. Almost like I'm jealous. Maybe I am and just can't admit it. I can't undstand why I'd be jealous though. I really absolutely don't want to be with her ever again.

I don't have any sauce for you, but for all the glaciers that are melting in the world, the glaciers in Antarctica are actually growing. People are forgetting that Nature is always in perfect balance. Even if we screw with it, it'll rebalance out afer awhile. If it gets real bad, the human race will die out, and the world will start again from whatever era began life on Earth. But that's worst case scenario. And even if that does happen, I expect that the human race would jsut evolve back into existance after a long period of time, but better. For instance, right now there is an increase in CO2 levels. How did nature handle that? There's a surplus of phytoplankton this decade. Why? Increase of CO2. Y'know what phytoplankton does? It feeds off of CO2. The world is still in balance. We're gonna be just fine.

Flirt, meet chicks from other schools, just, don't think about trying to get back together with whoever you're trying to move on from. Even if you want it, or there's a chance it might happen, just let it be, and just find something else to do. A large portion of moving on is just finding something to take up the time you had devoted to what you're going over, I'm also assuming you just came out of a relationship, if you're trying to move on from someone you have a crush on, just go meet more people, or socialize more with other people. Run-on sentences ftw. Don't think of it as moving on to someone else. You don't have to be dependant on a significant other to have a good time in life. As Deathdrow said, try flirting with other girls you haven't met before. Can't find any other girls? Try your local mall on weekends. Try joining a co-ed sport. There's plenty of ladies out there, it's just a matter of finding them. As for the actual moving on? Just focus your attention on other interesting things. I assume you just came out of a relationship? Think about all of the things that you couldn't do while you were in a relationship. Reconnect with old friends. Join a club. Start hanging out in random places for the hell of it. Get a new hobby. Just make yourself busy and eventually, you'll notice the feeling of loneliness slip away.
