I sold you the Holy Empire slot on Mars as well, remember? Also, that orange slot above New Jakarta is part of New Kazakhia, as well as the orange slot between Germania and Sri Lanka. Nice try buddy. Kazakhstan never took over New Russia (which is the spot next to New Germania). Tbh idk who removed New Russia from the map. The slot between the Sri Lankan sector (Nigerian?) and the New Germanian sector was something that Trol assumed control of as she expanded. Kamino assumed control over New Russia before World War 5. True that. I took all of the Russian land on Mars while everyone else was freaking out over Earth. As planned, I was virtually ignored. Until Doom stormed through my country of course, but then again that was barely intentional.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I dig your new sig there Wongtong  and abc, a lot of people go throug hstages like taht, it comes from insecurity. Eventually you'll realize that if you're always honest, some people won't like you, but a select few will love you. and that's a bargain most are willing to participate in.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Relationship guru? No. Guru on getting a relationship in the first place? I'd say I am, on the theory at least. I do well irl but I'm far from a guru. It's not really doing a job for me, the only purpose of getting all my posts in 1 spot is so those who want to read them, can easily. I just thought I'd do something in return for doing a favor for whoever wants to read the posts. Almost all of these questions (so there's this girl...) have been answered at least once earlier in the thread. 'tis true. But the only guru that I recognize that has ever posted on this thread is IgoddessI for having a legitimate background in psychology (and being my inspiration to do the same). I'd say you (IamDan) and Lent are probably the most likely to respond to the "so there's this girl" problem. I try my best to respond to every problem, but gettnig the girl is my weak point. Keeping the girl is my strong suit.

Soldiers - Heroes?
The winners are always the good guys aren't they ;) After all, they get to write the history. America wasn't perfect during WWII. We had interment camps of our own. That wasn't too heroic. But you can't watch a classic WWII movie and tell me that there weren't some true heroes involved in the fighting.

Soldiers - Heroes?
The soldiers of this war are heroic because they are performing an important duty to this great nation (being USA of course). They may not have the glory that the WWII vets have, or the horrible conditions that the 'Nam vets had, but they're still soldiers, therefore heroes. You won't be seeing any movies on this war where the soldiers are portrayed as good guys, unlike WWII but this war is different than any war we've been in before. We're fighting a more or less faceless enemy. If we were out hunting Nazis, they'd be seen as heroes. But at the moment we're attempting to find Taliban. We're not really doing much fighitng. Think of it like this: A kid in school stands up to the bully and they plan to fight at 3pm at the flagpole. The bully and the kid show up, and the kid wins the fight. He's a hero right? That's kind of like The Ally's standing up to the Nazi regime. Now same situation: A kid stands up to a bully in the school and they plan to fight after school. Only this time the bully decides he has better things to do, and never shows up. Now the kid who stood up is left alone at the flagpole, looking to fight with no one around. That's kind of like how the US is taking on the Taliban/Al Qauida Same concept but the latter seems less heroic doesn't it? I still find that "kid" (the soldiers) to be heroic, they just aren't in a position to really prove it.

What, you cancel SGU, SGA seson 5, SGA Extinction, reruns of SG-1 and reruns of SGA seson 1-4? You're gonna have a lot of people just wanting to kick your [wagon]. Allow me to make a flow chart Star Wars -> Battle Star -> Star Trek -> Star Gate Epic Win -> Win -> Classic -> [developmentally delayed]ed no one likes Star Gate. Let Macgyver go back to being Macgyver (I think I've made a joke like this before...deja vu much?)

Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
I actually like the auto tuner. I'm not a fan of pop these days, but I like the way auto tuning sounds. It's over used right now, but in 10 years or so when it dies down a bit, and people really learn how to use it, it'll be great (similiar to the disc scrathing back in the 80's)

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
(not directed at Sparky) Okay first off, keep your cool when posting here. There's no need to call each other out. Just because Dan posted first, doens't mean he's the guru of the thread. He just happens to post here alot (as do I). (directed at Sparky) One word answer girls are a pain to converse with. But like Dan said you gotta build some comfort with her. How does one do that? Honestly, I'm pretty bad at it, but I've noticed that the harder it is to get a girls confort, the more loyal a girlfriend they'll be. No lie. I suggest talking to her in real life, not just over facebook. Talk about things that she's interested in (look on her profile, its not too hard). And physical touching works wonders. Don't be a creep about it, but when engaging her in conversation, give her a nice hug. The more bright/happy/smiley you are, the quicker she'll warm up to you. (directed at Fruitdisc) You've made a second account before for this purpose haven't you? It's not nesesary, man. No ones judging you. This is a forum for goodness sake, its pretty anonymous as it is. I like that you see yourself as the cool popular guy. Thats a good positiion to be in. About this chick though. She's "almost perfect". Don't get a head of yourself here. But you mentioned that you can score any chick you want. I like that confidense, that's a good start. I know your a busy guy, but if you want to get anywhere with this girl, you're going to have to have time for her. Otherwise, this isn't going to go anywhere. I saw talk to her when you can, awkward silences are sometimes unavoidable. BUt if she's really staring at you, stare back! Make her be the one to break eye contact. The faster she does it, the more embarrased she is. That'd be a good indicator that she likes you. And don't take the Myspace rejection personally. Some people don't like being friends with people they don't know well.

Mom starves kids
Agreed. You'd think the 18 year old at the very least would have the common sense to look for a job. God isn't going to magically make your life better. God gave us churches and the goodness in people so that we can ask them for assistance. Reminds me of a joke about a lady on a skyscraper during a flood (wheere three boats come and she claims she'd rather have god save her)
