One addition to the auto pilot system I got going - Human breeding is looked down upon, but is now aceptable. Humans are no longer being neutered. Factory efficientcy will be takeing a hit in a few years, but will easily bounce back in 13 years or so. 4 Carrier ships will be assigned to run transport between Zhoreuc and Mars for material purposes only. All other ships are to remain on standby on Mars.

Probably true. I prefer the company of a tightly knit tiny group, so I suppose my view on the subject is a bit bias. As for Alex, If you're on a group date the idea isn't to get caught up on where to focus your attention. It's still a date, and your date deserves the majority of your attention. The group is there for more o a back up plan incase things get awkward. I prefer double dates over group dates. That way each has someone to focus on at all times. And your date isn't going to feel uncomfortable if you spend too much time with her. on the contrary, she'd feel outcasted if you didn't

I have a quesiton concerning this uTorrent as well (not to thread hijack, its just convienient) When you download a torrent, you become a seed correct? To me this sounds like a huge security risk becaues the internet effectivly looks to your computer for data to download. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Philly's a nice place. Some parts are kinda scary, while others parts are down right inspirational. Just a walk through the cleaner parts of town would make a decent date. and this just dawned on me...How would a concert work as a first date? I mean, it's tons of fun, even if it's pretty much the opposite of a date setting.

Force yourself into the group, and make it obvious that you're the coolest guy and source of all of their fun. I actually find that tactic very irritating to be on the recieving end of. The more someone wants to be in my group, the less likely I am to let them in. Unless of course I truly feel like they belong there. Forcing yourself isn't really the best method. I' dsay just focus on a few of the members of said group, get close tothem and the rest of the group should follow. That's why you befriend the "leader" of said group. Every group has one, it's pretty easy to tell who it is most of the time. Gte close to that person, and eventually the group will accept you. There is a limitted amount of forcing involved yes, but minimalize the tactic. And Alexpop just blew open the whole "first date debate" topic again. For the love of god, I still beleive movies make good first dates, and I know that I am one of the only people on this thread that believes that. Then we have IamDan suggeting ice skating. And walks in the park frequently come up. I'm actually kind of tired of this discussion, simply because we keep saying the same friggin' things.

Stop it with the friggin' lists. Anyway, I agree to place this game on hold until we figure out how we're gonna play it. Also, I've always been one to think of these games more of games, than RPs. You can't win a role play. That's why we got a new subforum, instead of being shoved into the far reaches of the library. We do role play, sure, but Hegemony and Kingdom are more along the lines of games than they are simple role plays.

Granzi, I agree there is a lot of useless posting in these threads about argument (like 75% of Hegemony is just whining and debating). Maybe now that we have our own subforum, we can allow seperate threads for IC and OOC. The probelm is that we'd be doing the same thing, but it would be seperated into two different areas. It's debatable whether or not that would actually help. Atleast this way it's very easy to track quotes. Any more than two threads is proposterous, because no offense to anybody but I'm not gonna spend my time reading up on everybody's personal threads. That's not gonna happen. So I have 5 spare points now. I'm going to be constructing some wagons for trading long distances if anyone would like to trade some metal weapons/armor for food.

How can you know you had a test but not know what it was? :s Most of the time the test will be her trying to get you to jump through a hoop like doing something for her, or following her. Girls that get hit on a lot will often just straight up insult you, and if you pass (and neg) they warm up a lot. I wouldn't worry about those types until you get out of school though. Well last night we were talking on the phone, it was pretty late, and the conversation is going well but out of nowhere she just says that she'll talk to me some other time and she hangs up. 5 minutes later she texted me that she didn't hang up because she was tired (I figured she did cause it was late), and she said that she was testing me and that I was failing. I just gave up and went to sleep, but I didn't know what she was testing me for. And what is (neg)? And I'm in college lol, I meet those types of girls alot. I've had that one pulled on me. I hate that BS. When a girl suddenly hangs up out of anger or any otehr reason that feels like a test, they expect you to call them back immidiatly. That's how you would have "succeeded". But in succeeding you have to tribute your manhood. I purposely fail tests like that. And then I turn the table on them. for that situation i would have said "Hey, you hung up on me. Obviously you don't want to talk to me, so why should I talk to you?" or if the girl says that you're failing her test, I'd reply "Psh, that's alright you're bombing my test by acting like any other crazy women that I could find anywhere" It's like reversing a neg. I don't do it to flirt though, it actually legit does piss me off when girls pull that garbage. So when I say a "neg" i more often than not mean it.

I'm putting my nation on auto pilot for the next few years. Every 4 years a new carrier will be complete, one being started every other year (so one will be started when one is half finished). After every three carriers, a superdestroyer ship will be created taking 7 years. when that ship is complete the cycle will begin again. All of these ships will be built on or around Mars. Satellite communication array will be continulaly upgraded, as it already is. The "African mining" project is still happening and will be complete in another week. If for any reason my nation should fall out of this cylce, I give Serephurus the authority to correct the problem. Growth rates shall remain the same, some expansion will occur in Mars. Taxes will remain the same, and military hypnopaedia will begin for 60% of the population from birth. The other 40% will continue to be average clones. Well, as average as my clones get.

See the difference? It's all abuot how you do it, and how you come off. You can look at a girls eyes all day, and it could be perfectly normal. Or it could be horrifically awkward. Don't go out of your way to gape at her pupils. Just gentling look into her iris from time to time and admire the color. Compliment as you please.

I have two points to spare as of 10/30. In ~30 minutes I will have 3 points to spare. I intend on racking these up a bit. May I suggest adding the costs of each tech to the tech tree template to avoid confusion, and constant window flipping?

It's a shame we're not using tachyons... Not to mention you jsut came out of no where and instantly jumped to the progression of nations that have been around for nearly 100 years.

The only trouble I've had is if there's a guy who flirts with everyone. Then I can't tell whether they're genuinely interested or not. Try and be more attentive on him. I flirt a lot for s'n'gs, but I can tell if a girl genuinely is interested. Odds are, the guy that's comfortable enough around women to constantly flirt is pretty good at picking up on that too. Standing really close to him, touching him a lot, those are two of the biggest things I notice. That hey wanna hook up thing is a lot cooler, honestly, rpg. You should buy a leather or at least denim jacket to wear whenever you say that. Then, before she answers, light up a cigarette and take a drag. Yeeeeeeeah. Cool as it may be, in my general environment (my school) the "inside joke" of late is asking anyone and everyone you don't know if they want to "hook up" regardless of gender, relationship status, and physical distance. It's quite funny when done across the room to the kid no one talks to. But I suppose in a real environment it could have some actual effect. I don't think you'd get to many yeses though. Then again, I've never tried.

My method is being subtle at first, and then if I'm displeased with the results, I move to the direct approach. "Hey, wanna hook up?" (not really, it's more of a sensitive I like you kind of thing)

Yes there's some common ones, but girls are friggin' complicated. The only thing they have in common with each other is their gender.
