    Do it without a guide, then complain that it was too easy. Seriously, the quests are easy because you guys stick to your little guides and know how to solve the puzzles before you get to them. It was incredibly invigorating to do WGS on the first day. I was miles ahead of everyone on the forums, and, working with a friend of mine, we finally figured out how the making potions worked. Now that puzzle, without the use of a guide, was difficult but rewarding. Just like if you want a book to be more rewarding, don't read the last page first, and if you want a quest to be more rewarding, don't read the guide first. Edit: Looking up, I see a few people made a similar point.

    If it truly was a matter of intelligence, I wouldn't insult them. I really don't mind it when someone misspells a difficult word. However, when you are intentionally misspelling things and intentionally making grammatical errors in hopes of being funny, that's when it starts to bug me. And I'm not a "grammar Nazi". Just an intentional immaturity "Nazi".

    Yes, if I had to pick one thing about this forum I hate, it is the growing use of "kiddy talk," or whatever the language used in my title is called. I have concluded that this kind of language comes from a typical growing-up stage that some of us just happened to miss. You think it is "cute" or "funny" when you talk like a completely uneducated idiot. Well, I don't find it cute or funny. I find it embarrassing. I cringe for the community when I see posts like this, especially when you people seem to be carrying on a conversation in it. Can anybody honestly say that their mind thinks "I can has to go get sum cookiez!!11"? No, our brains think "I want some cookies," so why do some people people feel the need to translate their words? If I was reading one your posts, and a friend of mine, a sibling, or a parent read over my shoulder, I would be embarrassed that I even bother reading that garbage. Not only is this trend annoying, it is increasing! People can talk about all these intangibles about why the community is getting worse-- meaner people, less generosity, etc., but this talk is tangible, and it is getting worse. It's not cute, it's not funny, and you make yourself look like an idiot.

    2^31 - 1, but close enough :thumbsup: It is stored as 0111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111. The negative number is technically -(2^31-1), or 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 Oh well, sorry for going off topic.

    Yeah, I remember selling my santa for full addy (g) and 1k yew logs a few weeks after buying it with 4k iron ore and full rune. It took me 2 years to get that santa back.

    You know the chances of going 427 dry chests at 1/16 (not sure, but close?) of a drop per chest is .000000000001, or about .0000000001 %? That's one in one trillion. Not saying you're lying, but...

    Stop playing for skills or for other people and just do whatever you want to do. I realized after about a week of doing what I wanted that runecrafting is probably the most fun thing I can do in the game, oddly enough.

    I'm not on tip.it staff anymore, so... It pisses me off that TET has members that are immature enough to post pitiful achievements on the forums and then give stupid responses like "My shield blocks it". Seriously, it's not funny at all, no matter how many little smileys you tack on to the end of it. Please start posting some real achievements or stop filling up the rate this forum with garbage. And you aren't the only TET member who posts pointless Rate this threads. If it isn't th3 crusader posting a thread, I should really just stop reading it.

    You realize no one gives a [cabbage] because this thread isn't about you, right? There are always better achievements, and all of the "Well I got..." people out there really ruin this forum. Just wondering. OT: Congrats, first drop being a hilt is pretty nice... Just remember not to believe this will happen each and every time or else you may be in for a rude awakening.. Gj. :) That's why I admire you, in a completely non-creepy way :thumbsup: 8/10 for the hilt. I wouldn't know how a first drop feels, I have never gotten one.

    You probably use guides for all your quests. I did that too until I did While Guthix Sleeps on the first day it came out without a guide. It was the most fun I had in RS in years. Try a quest one time without a guide, and solve the puzzles on your own. You have to turn a complete 5% profit out of 20m worth of investments EVERY DAY in order to parallel 1 hour and 15 minutes of runecrafting. Also, try to explain how I got this with a skill AFTER a time "when you could actually make a good profit" from runecrafting. OT: I choose to ignore the god-worshiping aspect. I may wear the armor, but I can't take them seriously.

    Just use runescript and type !track @52wks at the end of a year to find out your level gains.
