    It's almost like asking when I will quit playing tennis or another sport. I may quit competitively, but as long as the possibility is around to play, it will stay with me. I am in 12th grade and have already been accepted to Duke University (one of the top 10 colleges in the nation), and I still don't see myself quitting any time soon.

    Mining copper and tin with my friend natedog122. Then we could go down to lumbridge and smelt it, and back up to varrock, where he would smith my bars into plates and platelegs for no charge. I would go sell the bronze items while he started mining again. We both completely trusted each other with all of our money at different times, and I remember not being able to believe it when I got to iron and reached the 10k gold mark. It may not seem like a huge deal, but being able to trust a friend with 100% of your money, even if it is 10k, is something pretty special. He is still a friend of mine, although I have far surpassed him in levels, and when he logs in, we usually go train or something together. Oh yeah, and listening to harmony and autumn voyage while doing all of the above.

    But then rwt'er 1 sells an AGS to the general store and rwt'er 2 buys for 80% GE and sells on GE, making an instant 10m. The only way I could see it working is if you make unstackable items less than 10k on the ge general store prices.

    Erm I dont know what logic you learnt but when each outcome is independent of the other the probabilities don't change If you flip a coin once you've got 1/2 chance of a heads Flip it twice you've got a 2/4 chance which is the same as 1/2 3 times gives 3/6 which again is 1/2 It's only in cases where each outcome removes something the odds change. Eg if you had a bag of 10 balls, 5 red 5 blue and want a red On the first withdrawal you do have a 5/10 or 1/2 chance of red But if you get a blue then on your second try you have a 5/9 chance of red get another blue and the odds shift to 5/8 For drops in rs there is nothing to suggest or otherwise prove that drops are affected by previous drops, other than in pking. This means no matter how many beasties you smash you STILL have the exact same odds of that drop as u did on the first one u killed. The only truth in the matter is that the more you kill the more likely you are to aqqire all the possible outcomes and hence get the drop Paw claw, there is a mathematical formula for this kind of stuff. When each flip is viewed on its own, there is the equal 1/2 chance it will be heads. But if it is viewed over time, say, chances that you will flip at least one heads in 10 flips, it is: 1-(odds against)^total flips So, the chances of flipping a heads in 10 coin flips is 1-(1/2)^10, or 99.9%.

Nostalgia is an interesting thing that allows us to only remember the good memories from the past, making it seem better than it really was. This thread doesn't discuss how RSC was overrun by autoers due to the absence of randoms or all the popularity and revenue brought to jagex through miniclip. Without that huge form of advertising, the game would definitely be as advanced and as worked-on as it is today.
