  1. True about Slayer. And yes, the Sara sword is also overrated, but given the importance of watefiends these days, having the best weapon for the job is worth it for many people.
  2. The only dragons worth killing for charms are the KBD and wyverns. All the others give mainly green charms, which provide a tiny fraction of the XP of crimsons. Waterfiends are still the go-to monster for high levels who need charms.
  3. The ZS is mostly an overrated weapon. There are few places where something else isn't better. It's a close second at WFs, but still second to the Sara Sword. In most places where you are fighting a tough opponent where you need stab, full Veracs is superior.
  4. The problem with this argument is that anyone who can get 2.7 megatokkuls in 30 hours can earn over 1 million an hour doing other things. Do the math and you'll see where furies are going to end up, and that's prior to any scumbag merch clans manipulating them.

Steve Jobs thinks he has a "paradigm shift" every time he drops a deuce. Remember the Segway? What a revolution.
  6. Combination of short supply due to silly moves by Jagex and merchanting. My gut feeling is that Jagex will very soon change the amount of tokkul required to get onyx, since they said late last year that they would be monitoring the situation and adjusting if necessary (and it is).

Rocktail for money and XP, Barb fishing if you only care about maximum XP. But rocktail are pretty close and a lot more lucrative. Buy living minerals when they are in a valley price-wise; they go up and down. Fishing rocktail using admiral pies is effective -- bring a bunch, fish rocktail until they are used up, then bank or switch to cavefish for a while.

I'll bite. Assume I can make 1m an hour. Based on current prices, your best option at that level is making harralander tar. Side benefit is that it is multitaskable. This assumes prices buying/selling at GE median which of course is not always the case, but that can't be easily taken into account in a guide. Of course as prices change this can change as well. I have a guide on the member's side of my site that shows the best options by level and updates daily; you can try it for a month for a penny if you wish.

There is no single best way to train Herblore. It depends on numerous factors, especially how much you value your time. Some of the least expensive methods are also the slowest, and time is money.
  11. It's hard to give advice with only "for fun" as a guideline -- one person's fun is another's nightmare. One thing you could try is maging irons/steels. It's pretty multitaskable, a decent way to get magic XP and drops to pay for your runes. I gained several levels that way at around your level.

Not sure, but I suspect it doesn't use a lot of total bandwidth.

Wide area broadband I guess. I'd think that for typical uses you'll be fine, but not if you do things like downloading movies and so forth. Also check out the ping times before you commit to anything.

Hmm, sounds like satellite. Is that correct? If not, what is it?

They are if you kill dragons a lot. They make a lot more difference than extremes do. Maybe if you mêlée... but if you range/mage from a safe spot they are superfluous. Well, they help a bit for maging and ranging as well, though not as much as meleeing, true. But for meleeing they make a night-and-day difference.
  16. Virtually anywhere that you'd use a Sara Sword for conventional strength training, you'd be better off with Dharoks. But yes, there are better and worse places to do it.
  17. Dharoks is the fastest way to train strength.

  19. The key question is: How many people don't own a whip because of its inability to train strength, who would now go get one? The answer is "not many", because the whip is already a "must own" weapon, even if it doesn't let you train strength (only -- it has a controlled option of course). Any increas in price would also result in more campers anyway. It would not be worth much more than it is now.
  20. While it is likely the motherboard, PCs can be odd beasts at time. I'd try removing various components and swapping them if possible before drawing any conclusions.
  21. Actually, they *aren't* aggressive initially in most cases (once in a while they seem to come after me from the start for reasons I don't quite get), and the behavior of the dwogres and dwarves is different. If you attack any chaos dwarves or cannoneers then all of the dwarves and cannoneers will come after you. The dwogres are separate, and won't attack you if you do the cannoneers. The cannoneers also won't attack you if you only attack the dwogres (try it). I recommend praying on the dwogres, as their attack is highly accurate. If doing the cannoneers, use Veracs and pray ranged (not prayer gear, as they switch to melee when you pray ranged).
  22. Okay.. so which? :) Dwogres are rumored to drop it more (unconfirmed) and have decent seed drops, while the cannoneers obviously drop hand cannons and shot.
  23. Planning to do dwogres or cannoneers? Very different processes. BTW it can take many, many hours to get one of those...
  24. Umm why? Eh, whatever. You're some kind of Runescape god, you probably have your reasons. Heh. Hardly. I've actually had them for a couple of years. I noticed they were selling for at or below high alch price and bought a few as a long-term speculation, figuring eventually Jagex would probably do something with them to make them more valuable. Didn't count on merch clans, but it still works. ;)
  25. LOL, how amusing. Especially since I have 102 of them in my bank. ;)
