let's see, i normally go scim, short, and fire staff but, there are times when i drag out the rune 2h or the warhammer, which i see wasn't included.

Wow, this topic is REALLY taking off. Some great stories, guys. And, for those who actually care, my account was from RSC. I'm lucky I remembered the password for it, but I've played it every summer since 2002-ish. Sadly, i've only gotten to 62 cb, and it's despairing. Hehe, I'm still laughing at how simple some of the names are.

^ about paul's message mmmhmm...that's true. I agree with that, but sadly, I can't help suspecting. It's sad that happens, but it's natural. (shrugs) Anyway, I've noticed some hotspots, also, near the runeshops and the arch shops. Some people are setting bots up there to buy all the deaths, chaos, and arrows. Just something I noticed.

Has anyone noticed, 2 weeks ago, that the min lvl to get on the WC hiscores dropped to 59? Since then, i think it's gone back up, last i checked. I'll check again..... Oh, wait, it dropped back to 59 again. But just barely. Jesus, this is getting bad. I have no will, anymore, to try to WC yews, until Jagex can free the yews from the macros and chinese boys. Also, keep an eye out by the Crafting guild. I've noticed a lot of people there that have some...ah...chinese names hanging around, that aren't talking to me or trading. For example, does chengchao sound chinese or korean? OOH! I KNOW! Let's have a day where those positively ID'd by Jagex as a botter or a RW item trader have an (attack botter or RW trader name here) option!!! I want some awesome drops!

Never thought of how some ppl picked their name. And me, I'm just lucky that I started so long ago, it made it easier to grab my RSN. Sigh, good times, good times.

Trials of the F2P Metalworker Also a notorious cabbage bomber out of boredom. To all, I'm sad to say that I've retired from training WC or firemaking, until the day that yews are free from the clutches of the bots. This is my boycott, my strike. And, idc if it only affects me, I'll not train those two until they are freed. And thus, I want 50 to 55 WC before I go members, therefore I will not go members until the yews are freed. Join my boycott!!! After trying to obtain a mssive amount of body talismans at the hill giants, my prayer level has gone up to 35! Note: I've leveled up mining to 64 (!!!) ~~Prayer has gone up to 36 now, after getting a Genie and using his lamp! I've only got 7 levels, total, to go until I get 40+ all F2P skills! :thumbsup: Currently retired from RS, got some stuff to take care of. So, everyone, why did you pick your RuneScape Name? What's the story behind it? I'll put mine out to start, and it's related to my sig, as well. I am a big fan of combat jets, fighter jets, and the like. But when I tried to make a RSN that had the name of 'Falcon', 'Eagle', and some of the other nicknames for jets, I couldn't get a single one. So I thought outside of the box. I picked something that is there, but not on the front lines. It's essential, but it gets no true attention. I picked the KC-135 Stratotanker. And, my motto, with it, is Flying High, like it says --(SAID)-- in my --(OLD)-- signature. : So, now, what is the story behind everyone else's RuneScape Name?

Oh god, that brings back memories... Sigh...I was a newb back then, tho...didn't remeber wat rune looked like. But i know what iron looked like, heheh. I'd completed most of the quests back then... Ahh, good times, good times...

Seeing as how this is on macros and bots in general, I'm bringing this up. Has anyone noticed the Rune Shop bots, the Range shop bots, and the Karajama Fishing bots? Rune Shop Bots-Buying all the minds, chaos, and deaths from the shop. Range shop bots-Buying every arrow in stock, type doesn't matter. kara Fish bots-Massively fishing swords, lobs, tuna, etc.

First: Congrats on trading up to rune pl8. Second: Thanks for snagging that scammer! It makes my life easier trying to stop them. It's really hard being F2P and a non-p-moddy...but it helps having a p-mod to help out.

Hmm...never thought of that. Good idea, dutchstyle. I think I'll use that one myself, with one change. I'd put it as "Ty, (RS PLAYER NAME HERE)" in case all goes smoothly. That way, if you do reach an acceptable agreement, you can press enter anyway, and nothing will happen. They'll think of it as a gesture of politeness....heheh.

Let's see...RS has improved much. "Failed Spell" :wall: "Sleeping Bag/Fatigue" :wall: And, drum roll please, "Dueling? What's that?" :shock: There was a time, mind you, when there was no such thing as dueling. Spell failures forced magic to become the worst skill to train. And the sleeping/fatigue crisis made it hard to train ANYTHING!

I prefer to have XP. First: I want no security problems. Second: I don't want to learn the tricks for a new OS yet. Third: I prefer to be able to USE my system. I don't want it to act like a lemon from a evil used-car dealership. (All used car salesmen are servants of Satan. I am utterly convinced of this!) And, for the kicker, I don't have time to constantly play the "allow or deny" game. I would use my hard drive for kindling if this became so on my computer. A wise man once said that the only secure computer is one buried in concrete, with the network cable unplugged, and the power cable cut.

Pro: I CAN GET INTO THE MIND TEMPLE WITHOUT CONSTANT WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Con: Harder find some1 to laugh at for getting PK'ed. But better time laughing when i do.

Yeah, try getting Jagex to use it. It'd be better than anything else.

I've also seen this happening at the rune shops, with all of the deaths being bought by an autoer. There was only one person in the store, a lvl 3 with the just-came-from-tutorial-island-stuff on, and someone was buying every single death. Conclusion: LVL 3 had lotta money, and i wish he would die so i could get a lot of deaths and cash.

Probably wrong url... Maybe Jagex changed them again. They like to do that. I luv yahoo bookmarks... :XD: works without leaving an RS footprint in history....
