Most I've gotten is two in a clue. But I enjoy doing them.

For a little while I was chopping yews fletching them into (u) then alching the whole inventory. It's slow exp but it's profit and somewhat afkable.

I just bought one. They are 25k from Wizard Korvak in the RC guild

You can safespot range 90% of slayer tasks. It's not terribly slow and costs next to nothing. If you like ranging you could do that. If not I'd get defense Pking is dead so I'm considering upping my defence too.

I'm using duel ring to tele to CW then Ourania tele. It's definitely faster and at 50 Rc I'm making more laws and astrals then I use so the only real cost is duel rings. You can also use the dungeoneering ring for free. I don't think there is a limit to tele's there.

Great post! Lots of memories. I didn't read the whole thread so this may have been discussed. I don't remember the exact details but When the Abyss was released you could attack players inside it like it was the wilderness. I had a few pictures of the attack but they are long gone.

Sounds like Tomb of frost would be a good investment if you are going to do dungeoning for arcane stream anyway.

You can do Monkey Madness and not get the def exp. I only train range through slayer and I'm only 41 def It's somewhat slow but drops are good and it's not super boring. Besides that I've used Fire Giants and Dust devils on my last account but that was ~2-3 years ago so I dunno if they are still good compared to other things

I just did this from 73-80 It was 13k or so maple logs to get there. They wont sell on the GE but you can sell them to the general store for roughly 3500gp per 50. It's still profit or you can keep them for junk.

I almost always leave as soon as I get it. I've gotten 2 clues in a single turoth task twice. So I take the time to do them as soon as I get them. Only time I wont is if I have under 10 or so to go in the task.

Focus sight. It's great I use it whenever I can. I can't make a slayer helm yet. only 80 combat. :/ But I can hit ~135 at 90 range with bronze arrows and msb.

I have 3 screens for a total of 5040x1050 res But I rarely use more than one for RS and 1 is a TV too. Multi-tasking ftw.

I use Chaeldar. I'm 89 range and 79 combat and use range on 90% of the tasks. Chaeldar is much better then the edge master for ranging. But I've never used a master over chaeldar.

Moving your screen from top to bottom shows exp adding to the total on the multiplier tab. kinda odd.

86 to almost 89 range and 78 to 80 hp so far. I'm down to 2.3x I think I'll just mine and drop the rest.

I did 5+ loads of lobs before I switched to the big net and I got em both in one load.

That's a really good idea. Hopefully it'll have some other uses also.

I'm sure whatever they did, they made it fair. It isn't like they would start giving people less or more XP for what was given in the past. And btw you can hit a 117, 22, etc. It's essentially the same. a 134 would be a 13.4 on the old system. you get 0.4 exp per hit as opposed to 4exp per hit or w/e it was before.

Yea, I noticed that too. I was only woodcutting though :P But I logged out (I thought) and when I went to log back in I didn't have to reenter my username or password. I suppose you have to fully logout of the lobby now.

They said it was for making the game more interesting for new players. It's adding some resolution so that's alright. I can't see anything wrong with it. People in game are yelling that it's going to ruin the economy and this and that. I have no clue how maybe they don't fully understand it but good luck convincing them. :rolleyes:

Awesome? This is bordering scamming in my opinion... He is getting ~250k plus drops from people that have next to nothing. He is only getting drops because of what he is risking. If this were the old drop system he would be getting the odd rune item and tons of arrows and other junk. um they risk as well. what is worse about this than killing welfarers or epers which I doubt you would complain about and properly do. would happily have drop system back tbh Sorry for being a bit rude the pker you made is just wicked. It's just the stupid drop system jagex has in place. How much do some of them risk? it looks like some of them have less than 5k on them and you are getting artefact drops from them. For instance the one at 30 seconds into the video. It looks like he has an iron helm and a steel sword yet you get an armadyl statuette which alone alchs for 450k.

eatrunearrow. That was the perfect post. You have summed up my feelings on the move from Runescape to whatever is now. I remember RSC vividly. I only made it to level 53 or so before the move to RS2 but those ~50 levels provided more fun than the few months I've been here since taking a nearly 2 year break. Imagine selling a green mask for 350k nowadays. It was one of the last things I did before RS2 took over. Also, The reason I quit was because of the community. It turned to everyone hating everyone else. Much of that can still be seen even in the posts above mine. The RS players nowadays can never know what it was like back then. Before it was saturated with content. It was probably around the time when 90% of the finnish players left. Those crazy finns. ;)
